Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

1: Chapter 1 I Became a Sparrow?! Automatic Upgrade SystemGreat Xia Kingdom, Jianghai City, No. 3 Middle School.

”Xiaoyue! Let’s go! The weather is so nice, let’s go shopping! I heard a new Hanfu shop just opened on the street next to the school! The clothes inside are all so beautiful!”

”I can’t, Minmin...”

”Sigh... Xiaoyue, it’s not that I’m talking behind your back, but don’t obsess over that bird egg anymore. People who don’t know better would think you found a gemstone!”

Inside the girls’ dormitory, two young and beautiful girls were chattering away.

They were dressed in school uniforms, with fair skin and delicate features, radiating youthful energy.

The core of their discussion was a wooden nest placed on the table—or, to be precise, an unremarkable grayish-brown bird egg inside the nest.

”It’s okay, Xiaoyue. It’s a holiday today, and it’s just us two in the dorm. This bird egg will definitely be safe here. We’ll only be out for a little while... nothing will happen!”

Facing the repeated requests of her best friend, the other young and beautiful female student glanced at the motionless bird egg in the wooden nest, her eyes hesitating for a moment.

Ultimately, she nodded.

”Alright then...”

Bang!

The sound of the door closing echoed... The two female students left the dormitory, and the room returned to silence.

...

Just after they left, after an unknown amount of time, a faint, harsh sound appeared in the silent room.

Ding... Ding... Ding...

It sounded as if something sharp was scratching against glass.

The grayish-brown bird egg placed in the wooden nest began to sway slightly, and soon the slight swaying became extremely violent!

”Crack!”

Accompanied by a crisp sound, the grayish-brown bird egg cracked open!

A small creature with bright red skin struggled to crawl out from the broken egg.

”Gaga, gaga!”

The fledgling’s slightly harsh voice echoed through the room.

”Damn it! This is so uncomfortable! Where exactly am I?!”

”Why is everything pitch black around me... My body feels so weak...”

The red creature that hatched from the bird egg was naturally a fledgling. Its body had just been born, and the underdeveloped skin was bright red, to the point where one could even see the blood vessels of its heart from the surface.

But Ye Yang was naturally unaware of all this, because everything before his eyes was pitch black!

That was because a newly hatched fledgling could not open its eyes...

But Ye Yang didn’t know any of this! He had no idea that he had now become a newly hatched fledgling!

”Strange... This nightmare is really realistic...”

Gradually, Ye Yang calmed down, thinking he was having a ”realistic” nightmare.

”No! If it’s a dream! A dreamer definitely cannot realize they are dreaming!”

Fortunately, he could still perceive his own body, and controlled his ”left hand” to reach toward his body...

It was slippery...

”Did someone take off my clothes?”

From top to bottom, until Ye Yang touched his own feet...

”Hiss...”

He gasped in his heart; these definitely could not be human feet!

How could human feet have sharp claws!

Now he realized with horror that the sensation of his hands was also wrong; they didn’t feel like human hands at all!

”What exactly is going on! What kind of monster have I turned into?!”

”What should I do...”

A tremendous fear arose in his heart!

The surrounding environment was pitch black, and strange changes had occurred to his own body, so Ye Yang did not make any other movements.

He decided to stay where he was and remain still for now.

And so, time passed second by second, and Ye Yang spent an unknown amount of time in the dark environment.

”Ha! Finally back to the dorm! The weather outside is really nice...”

”Xiaoyue, I wasn’t wrong, right? The clothes in that newly opened Hanfu shop are really beautiful!”

Suddenly, a clear and pleasant girl’s voice came.

Bang... The sound of the door closing.

His body trembled. Hearing the clear and sharp voice, he was certain it was a girl’s voice.

After returning to the dorm, Ran Xiaoyue and Li Minmin put down the big and small bags containing Hanfu in their hands. Their eyes inadvertently swept toward the table. When they saw the brown bird egg in the wooden nest had cracked open, the two girls immediately rushed to the table.

”Wow! So this is what a fledgling looks like!”

Seeing the bright red fledgling, Li Minmin let out an exclamation. It was her first time seeing a fledgling up close.

Soon, her shocked expression disappeared, replaced by confusion.

”Strange... This isn’t an incubator. Don’t bird eggs need an incubator environment to hatch?”

”What’s going on here?”

The two girls looked at each other in confusion.

Li Minmin smiled, ”Xiaoyue, actually this is fine too. You don’t have to put effort into trying to hatch the egg anymore...”

Ran Xiaoyue nodded her pretty little head. She had indeed been researching information for this bird egg she found, wanting to ensure the life inside would hatch.

Since the little life inside the egg was now born, it put her mind at ease quite a bit.

”Hmm... Why is this fledgling not moving? Could it be dead?”

”It has a heartbeat, maybe it’s hungry...”

”Is that so... I remember! There’s a pet feed store outside the school, they should have food for fledglings!”

”Okay! Minmin, you go buy some, I’ll stay here and watch this little guy.”

Following Li Minmin’s departure, only Ran Xiaoyue was left in the dorm, along with Ye Yang, the fledgling that had just broken its shell.

”Little guy, please be alright...”

Ye Yang ignored this pleasant-sounding girl’s voice; he was completely shocked by what the two girls had just said!

”I actually turned into a fledgling!”

”My god! Heaven is playing with me!”

”At least let me reincarnate as a Giant Panda!!!”

Not to mention the vast difference compared to other creatures, simply put, most birds only have a lifespan of ten years!

Moreover, ninety percent of birds do not die of old age; among them are not only threats from humans, but also countless crises from nature!

Therefore, if Ye Yang had really become a bird, even with human intelligence, it would be a bleak life!

”No!”

”How could I turn into a bird?! Heaven must be joking with me!”

His inner turmoil was intense, causing his petite, fiery-red body to tremble slightly.

”Eh? What’s wrong with the little fledgling... Is it cold?”

Ran Xiaoyue saw Ye Yang trembling all over and carefully took a small blanket from the side and draped it over Ye Yang.

”That should be better...”

Ye Yang felt a weight on him and knew that this girl beside him had draped a piece of clothing over him, but he was in no mood to care about this right now.

”Sigh...”

Just as he felt despair, a mechanical prompt suddenly rang out in his mind.

”Ding, congratulations to the host, automatic upgrade system is activating...”

”Ding, activation successful!”

”Ding, a cell containing Supreme Aura Cells within your body has been awakened...”

”Ding, your Supreme Aura Cells feel the host’s inner despair, are extremely angry and unwilling to accept this, and have decided to fight for a breath of life, starting automatic upgrade...”
