Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

25: Chapter 25: Unease Among the Nations of Blue Star! Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve! Basic Breathing Technique UpgradeIn fact, as long as a nation possessed a certain level of power, their upper echelons knew exactly what the appearance of extinct prehistoric creatures on Blue Star signified.

This heralded a subtle transformation in Blue Star’s geography and climate, and the Great Xia Kingdom, where the prehistoric creature appeared, was highly likely to be the starting point of Blue Star’s revolution.

In response, many nations were on high alert, though the United States and Sakura Country were gloating over the situation...

...

Blue Star, the North Pole.

Three thousand meters beneath a ten-thousand-year-old ice vein, a large, high-tech scientific research and military fortress stood tall.

”Captain, come quickly and look at this! An extinct prehistoric creature from ten thousand years ago has appeared in the Great Xia Kingdom!”

”What?! My God! How could a prehistoric creature appear at this point in time? It’s several years earlier than we predicted!”

”Do we need to send personnel to Great Xia to investigate the situation?”

”No... we are far too short-handed right now. Ever since that energy appeared in Blue Star’s atmosphere a month ago, this big guy slumbering in the ice vein has become increasingly restless, and the same goes for the big guys in other locations... we must hurry and gather data!”

”That’s true...”

”However, send some data regarding biological combat power to the nations of Blue Star. It’s time for them to become vigilant, otherwise, the future of Blue Star will become a monster’s playground...”

Beneath the fortress, a giant beast several hundred meters long lay quietly frozen within the ice vein, as serene as a sleeping beauty.

However, on the pulse charts of the electronic instruments, one could clearly see that this giant beast’s aura was gradually reviving...

What was even more shocking... was that this giant beast’s massive head was actually a ferocious dragon’s head...

...

Returning to the outskirts of Jianghai City, Ye Yang had not expected that his appearance in human sight would indirectly cause a sensation across the entire Blue Star!

A few kilometers away from the mountain peak, there was a pool of water about a hundred meters in size.

Ever since Ye Yang let out a warning cry, the surrounding ten-mile radius of the mountain peak had become his territory, so this pool naturally belonged exclusively to him.

At this moment, he was soaking in the pool. His snow-white feathers possessed immense buoyancy, allowing him to float effortlessly on the water’s surface.

He lowered his head to look at his body reflected in the emerald green water, admiring it for a moment.

”This look is actually quite handsome—noble and elegant. I’m finding more and more that there’s nothing bad about becoming a bird...”

”Moreover, I’m a bird capable of racial evolution. Right now, I’m the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle!”

Suddenly, Ye Yang’s mind tensed up.

”That drone completely exposed my appearance. If someone in this world recognizes me as a prehistoric creature, will there be any danger?”

”I can’t take on humanity just yet!”

After wandering on the water for a long while, he still couldn’t think of a solution to this problem.

”Forget it, I won’t think about it. If I can’t fight them, the worst I can do is run away!”

He took to the air, instantly shaking off the water droplets clinging to his feathers, and flew toward the mountain peak.

In reality, Ye Yang was overthinking it...

Although most of the upper echelons of Blue Star’s nations were anxious and busy because of his appearance, those big figures at the very top of the human pyramid hadn’t spared him a single thought or glance.

...

Three days later, early morning.

”Ding! Your Supreme Aura Cells have sensed solar energy, awakening from their slumber and beginning to operate...”

”Ding! After a day of arduous cultivation, your Basic Breathing Technique proficiency has increased!”

”Ding! Your Basic Breathing Technique proficiency level has increased!”

Ye Yang, who was gazing into the distance from his cave, felt a jolt through his body as his golden pupils dilated!

”The Basic Breathing Technique proficiency upgraded?”

”System Panel!”

Host: Ye Yang

Race: White-Feathered Giant Eagle

Rank: E

Bloodline: Unawakened (1,000 Supreme Aura Cells)

Skill: Basic Breathing Technique (Minor Achievement)

Sure enough, the proficiency of the Basic Breathing Technique had changed from proficient to Minor Achievement.

At the same time, a massive suction force emanated from deep within his body, continuously absorbing the spiritual energy from the surrounding air.

This efficiency was nearly twice as fast as before!

”If Minor Achievement in the Basic Breathing Technique is this powerful, won’t I just take off once it reaches Major Achievement or Perfection?”

He looked outside the cave. The white jade bamboo standing on the mountain peak was also being nourished by the spiritual energy he drew in. Its jade-white leaves seemed to be breathing, hungrily swallowing the surrounding spiritual energy.

Seeing this, Ye Yang wasn’t angry; instead, he was very happy.

Because his relationship with the white jade bamboo was entirely complementary. The spiritual energy the white jade bamboo absorbed didn’t affect him at all; rather, the spiritual energy it attracted would help him.

Soon, his excited and joyful mood calmed down.

His golden eyes reflected the azure color of the blue sky outside. The sky was clear and the clouds were light, and his heart was just as calm.

”It’s a bit dull and boring...”

”Might as well go find some fun!”

Being stuck in the cave for three days had made his body feel lazy and ready to fall apart.

Since he had decided to go out and find some fun, he immediately thought of a good location.

”It’s impossible to go to human cities, otherwise I’d definitely be treated as a target. There might even be all sorts of messy weapons.”

Whoosh!

He soared toward the horizon, his figure vanishing into the clouds...

...

The Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve had very well-preserved ecological protection, with a large number of wild animals living within it.

One could occasionally catch a glimpse of the usually rare Siberian Tiger, Golden Snub-nosed Monkey, or even the ’spirit of the snow,’ the Snow Leopard.

Inside a cave, a massive Brown Bear walked out.

There was a large scar on its chest; this was the same Brown Bear Ye Yang had encountered before.

Now, except for the visible injury on its chest, the wounds on other parts of its body had long since healed. Its physical constitution and recovery power were extremely formidable.

Twisting its somewhat stiff body, the Brown Bear moved its truck-like frame toward a certain direction.

After walking for a while, a lush bamboo forest appeared before its eyes.

”Awoo...”

It let out a low growl toward the bamboo forest.

Before long, amidst the rustling of the bamboo forest, a large black-and-white figure appeared in view. Only after it emerged from the bamboo forest did it become clear that this black-and-white fellow was actually a Giant Panda.

”Awoo!”

As soon as the Giant Panda came out, it let out a wary roar at the Brown Bear, but its bright little black eyes flickered and dodged, as if it were very afraid of the Brown Bear in front of it.

Seeing the Giant Panda’s cowardly manner, a surge of anger immediately rose within the Brown Bear.

We’re both bears, after all; why are you so timid? You’re really embarrassing us bears!

Furthermore, the Giant Panda’s size was almost the same as his; what was there to be afraid of?

”Roar...”

The Brown Bear suppressed its anger, let out a roar at the Giant Panda, and then turned around, signaling for it to follow.

The Giant Panda blinked its dark eyes, understood the Brown Bear’s meaning, and decisively shook its head, swaying back and forth like a pellet drum.

The bamboo forest is my life; I won’t go out even if you kill me!

Its attitude was resolute!

This made the Brown Bear unable to help but get angry!

It turned back to glare fiercely at the trembling Giant Panda, and seeing the bamboo forest, a smile appeared on the bear’s face...
