Chu Zhongqin’s mood now was quite good.

This was but just a piece of small news, and getting a tip from the Young Master was just a small matter, the important thing was that he made Young Master happy. Next time, he would definitely get back a huge reward. What kind of person was Hong Dali? The type that could give out hundreds of thousands of money in tips—a God of Fortune. He definitely wouldn’t lose anything from following such a person.

As for playing around with Hong Dali in such a mad way even though he was already at such an old age, Chu Zhongqin never considered that to be a problem—Young Master definitely was the reincarnation of the God of Fortune. Thinking of it this way, Hong Dali would even be a few thousand years older than him!

Just as Chu Zhongqin was secretly feeling happy for himself, Hong Dali grinned and asked, “Is your friend reliable? Why did he suddenly quit? What was the problem?”

Tang Muxin said “A private zoom, just the land should be worth quite a bit of money, right? Why did he quit?”

“Reliable, he’s definitely reliable!” Chu Zhongqin slowly said, “Actually, regarding this friend of mine, his family is quite well to do, and he also likes animals. Therefore, he invested in this zoo. Honestly speaking, I didn’t expect him to sell away the animals too. But he didn’t explain in detail over the phone just now. I thought that since we will be going over anyway, there was no need to ask the details.”

Hong Dali looked at the scenery fly past from outside the window, nodded and said, “Yup, we can ask him when we reach there. Actually, I’m more interested in those animals.” As he said so, his face was full of excitement. He asked, “Is there tigers, lions, pandas and such?”

If he were able to lead a tiger out onto the streets, that would definitely be an incredible scene!

Chu Zhongqin considered for a while and said, “I haven’t gone there for a long time, so I’m not sure. But given the scale of his zoo, there should be some rare species inside. If not, there wouldn’t be much visitors there since long ago.”

Hong Dali laughed loudly. “Haha, that’s true. Very good, very good.”

Soon after, the car slowed down to a stop. The driver, Wang Mingyu, turned around and said, “Young Master, we have arrived.”

As the group majestically got down from the car, a middle-aged uncle of about 50 years old hurriedly walked up to welcome them. Once he saw Hong Dali, he greeted, “Young Master, you have arrived. Please come in!” This uncle was quite plump, wearing a suit where his stomach protruded out and showed the belt. Hong Dali was sure that this guy couldn’t even see his the tip of his own feet!

Hong Dali was pleased with him calling him Young Master and decisively rewarded him. “Yup, reward! 10,000! How may I address you?”

The uncle bowed and said, “My name is Tang Ya. Young Master, you may call me Tang Sanzang 1 or Donald Duck 2 . It’s my honor for Young Master to take time from your busy schedule to visit. Oh my, speaking of which, I have heard of Young Master since long ago but never had the opportunity to meet you in person. Now that I have seen you today, you are indeed a dragon amongst man. Extraordinary, extraordinary indeed! Hahaha!”

The nine lackeys behind Hong Dali almost had a facial nerve paralysis from hearing him talk—this dude’s bootlicking skills were at the ultimate level! They must learn from him in the future!

Hong Dali followed him in. “You mouth can really speak. Anyways, Donald Duck, are you planning on selling all of the animals?”

“Sigh, it’s a long story.” Tang Ya brought them inside a conference room and invited him to sit in the main seat. He sat at one side, shook his head and said, “I didn’t want to sell them either. I have loved animals since I was young. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have opened this zoo. Seeing stray dogs going hungry, I would rather eat less myself to buy food for them. Then, after some trading, I made a small fortune and bought a piece of land to build a zoo, which is here.”

His words were quite sincere, Hong Dali somewhat felt that he was similar to himself. He nodded and said, “Indeed, animals are man’s best friend. Then, why are you selling them now?”

Tang Ya laughed bitterly, took out a map, and said, “I have no choice. Young Master, take a look. This is the map of our Tianjing City. In the past few years, just in the area in the west fourth loop alone, there are already three new parks opened. A normal man such as myself obviously can’t fight against these state-owned parks. Actually, at the start, my ticket price was cheap. Therefore, the visitor volume was still acceptable. I could earn about a million or so per year. Although it wasn’t much, it was enough for a living. But now, people would rather spend more money to crowd around in those big parks. After all, it’s much more fun there, there’s stuff to see and play. Unlike here, there are only animals to see. They only need to walk one round, and that’s it. So naturally, people don’t like to come here anymore.”

When he finished speaking, Hong Dali fully understood the situation.

Plainly speaking, he only had a single service here which was the animals. The size was also not big enough, visitors only had to walk one round, and that was it. At most, they could only take some pictures as a memorial. Combined with the impact of those big parks, Tang Ya naturally didn’t have a good time.

“Then, Donald Duck, how are the species of the animals? What kind of animals do you have here?” In the end, Hong Dali still had to take a look at the species of the animals before deciding. If there were not a lot of species and were only left with common animals, he would still buy them and just treat it as doing charity. But, his attitude wouldn’t be as good as now—he was a person who earned tens of thousands every minute, he didn’t have time to waste here.

Speaking of animals, Tang Ya’s words flowed out non-stop. “The species are quite complete here. From tigers and lions to monkeys and orangutans, then to eagles, cinereous vulture, peacocks, and pheasants, there are quite a lot. If it weren’t because my zoo did indeed have quite a lot of animals and because the ticket is also cheap, I would have gone bankrupt a long time ago. Young Master, don’t you agree?”

Hearing that there was even tigers and lions, Hong Dali’s eyes lit up. “Yup, not bad, not bad! There’s even tigers and lions!?”

Tang Ya said, “Yes, there are! Speaking of which, it was because my luck was quite good!” Mentioning this, Tang Ya’s face was full of pride. “I opened this zoo quite long ago. At that time, tigers weren’t as rare as they are now. The country wasn’t strict in its control. When they heard that I wanted to invest, the related authorities even gave me a certificate of the cultivation of animals. They granted me the right to privately raise large-sized animals such as tigers and lions.” As he spoke, he hurriedly took out a few certificates from his office bag. “Young Master, take a look. This is the credential to raise tigers, this one is for the lions, this one for the elephants, and oh, there’s also this one. This one is the most valuable, the credential to raise pandas!”

“You even have the credential to raise pandas!? Tang Muxin was astonished. She grabbed Hong Dali’s elbow and violently shook it. “Dali, can you let me raise a panda!? Then, it can fight with my Xiao Xiaobai!”

Hong Dali: “OK! Then, do you have pandas here!?”

Pandas! They were pudgy, cute and adorable, weren’t they! The most important thing was, there was even the credential to raise them!

In his previous life, Hong Dali wasn’t sure of this type of stuff. But here, with this credential, he definitely could raise them himself! Once he thought about a pudgy panda crawling around in his bedroom at home, his saliva almost drooled out!

Unfortunately, Tang Ya regretfully shook his head. “It’s a pity to say that I don’t have any here. Pandas are too rare. Even with the credential, it’s difficult to find pandas that are willing to be raised by humans.”

Tang Muxin: “That’s such a pity… if only there were pandas here.”

“What you said does make sense…” Hong Dali touched his chin and said, “Never mind, there’s no rush. If the opportunity comes, I will inquire on that.” As he spoke, he stood up and said, “OK, let’s go take a look at the animals. Oh my, hearing you speak about them already makes me a bit anxious to see them, haha!”

Tang Ya hurriedly got up. “OK! I shall bring you to see them now. Young Master, this way please.”

They left the conference room with Tang Ya taking the lead. As he walked, he introduced the place to Hong Dali. “I bought this piece of land when I decided to build the zoo. If it weren’t for this, my zoo would have been torn down and relocated ages ago. Now, there’s a total of 60 plus different types of animals here. In total, there are about 500 plus animals.”

As they talked, they came to a huge grass patch with a few puppies rolling around on the ground. Tang Ya said, “These puppies are very good tempered. You can touch and hug them as much as you like. Kids love them.”

Then, they continued to walk. A few steps later, they reached the goldfish aquarium. Beautiful goldfishes were swimming around in twos and threes in the tank—a lot of them Hong Dali couldn’t even put a name on. But this didn’t affect their viewing of them. Hong Dali looked and said, “Not bad, we can just bring this back home. Dad and Mum will definitely like it!”

After the goldfish aquarium, it was the bird park. They walked and looked at the same time. In just two to three minutes, Hong Dali had already seen peacocks, parrots, and other beautiful birds. He even saw two one-meter talk eagles, their eyes coldly looking at the group of people. When they saw Hong Dali looking at them, they violently spread their wings. When they opened, the wingspan was as long as two meters and more—it was almost horrifying.

“Haha, good, good fellow!” Hong Dali laughed loudly, expressing his satisfaction.

They continued to walk forward. In front was the area for pets.

This was a world of dogs. There were not just those that Hong Dali had brought before. Although the zoo didn’t seem really big, the species of dogs were quite complete. There were Dachshunds, Sheepdogs, Great Pyrenees, Dalmatians, and so on. One of the Great Pyrenees was the most obedient. It let Hong Dali touch it and didn’t make any noise, just sleeping there. When it got comfortable from the touch, it even turned over and revealed its stomach, causing Tang Muxin to gurgle.

There were also some other types of small animals such as coypus, cats, and so on. All of them were very adorable.

One extremely adorable white cat immediately swayed over when it saw Hong Dali walk towards them, meowing out to him.

Tang Ya hurriedly introduced. “This is a Scottish Fold. This small cat was born this year on January 18th. It’s only four months old now. It was quite timid and gluttonous, but I wonder what is wrong with it today. It actually didn’t get scared when it saw you, this is really surprising.”
