Rebirth of the Godly Prodigal

Hong Dali said these words quickly, his saliva was really splattering all over, squirting on Lin Hao’s head and face.

However, Lin Hao did not care about this at all, wiping his face like he was washing it. With a pair of pea-like eyes shining brightly, he fiercely clapped his hands and said, “Yeah! Why did I not think of such a tortuous plot!?” This time, he was really impressed by Hong Dali. “Young Master is awesome! Young Master, why don’t you take a look and see if there are any other things that you would like to change?” At this time, his expression was extremely humble, only thinking of kneeling down and praying to him. He kept shouting in his mind,This is indeed the Young Master who could film something like Unexpectedly! He is special indeed!

At the side, Tang Muxin grinned and shook Hong Dali’s elbow. “Dali, you’re so awesome to think of something like this! Hehe, went into the cave and met the statue of a fairy, causing admiration to appear in his heart, then went out and saw the fairy showering and was discovered. The two then became a quarrelsome but loving couple—this is indeed much better than the original plot!”

Hong Dali said, “This is what a movie should be like, plus one more thing. There is a praying mat in front of the statue of the fairy. The male lead has to kowtow a thousand times. Then, there is a secret manual of a divine art in the praying mat, called ‘Nine Suns Divine Art’!”

After saying this, Hong Dali smiled and said in his heart, This is the plot in Jin Yong’s Demigods and Semi-Devils from my previous life. I can’t recite the book, and the plot can’t be remembered clearly, but remembering a few classic scenarios and changing them a bit is still no problem!

With such a small plot modification, the quality of the whole movie immediately improved. Now, Lin Hao asked to excuse himself to go arrange for the staff to change the script. However, he had only stretched out one leg when he thought of something. “That… Young Master, can the statue be made of stone? Or shall we just use 3D? Otherwise, if you use jade, this… the cost is a bit too high. You see, such a statue, if we use a real one, it will cost at least 300,000 or so, enough to buy a few cars…”

Hong Dali almost wanted to kick him away. How would the stone be able to reflect the quality of the film? To reflect the grade of the film? To reflect the beauty of the characters? The most important thing was, how could he squander then!? He violently slapped the table and said, “Use the real one! You definitely have to use the real one! The type that has all sorts of colors! Get someone to sculpt it for better viewing! Exquisite looking! I will reimburse you for the money spent on the statue!”

“Yes… Yes…” Young Master was really a master. He couldn’t afford to offend him. Anyway, since he would be reimbursed, then he should just do according to what Hong Dali said. Lin Hao immediately ran off to explain the changes to the story to the actors, but the story couldn’t be taken right away. It would take a few days to build the statue, and this was because only a small part of the face of the statue would be shown when filming. Therefore, it didn’t need to be sculpted too carefully. Another trouble was how to get the fox or bunny—they weren’t easily trained. They had to think of a safe way to solve it. Otherwise, the shooting would have exposed scenes.

After finishing the arrangement, Lin Hao ran back and, pouring a cup of tea, he said, “Young Master, your idea is really good. Your Unexpectedly! had the ‘Nine Suns Divine Fist’ in it—the ‘Nine Suns Divine Art’ that you just mentioned, is it the inner manual of this ‘Nine Suns Divine Fist’? Oh, this way, this film will be a big hit!” As he said this, his thumbs were high up. “Brillant, it’s really brilliant! It’s rare for you to come here, why not you watch another scene?”

“Well…” Hong Dali thought about it. Suddenly, his eyes lit up. “Is it a fighting scene? I love watching fighting scenes!”

“Of course! It will be a fighting scene! I will ask Shen Guanghe to change clothes now!” Now that he was convinced of Hong Dali’s talent, he had to make use of this opportunity to ask as many questions as possible. He directly shouted, “Little Shen, change clothes and prepare for the next shoot! Young Master Dali said that he would like to watch the fighting scene!”

“OK!” Shen Guang, who was already full of sweat, was joyful and acknowledged. Like a gust of wind, he ran off to do his make-up. It was no wonder that he was so excited. The viewing rate of this film was guaranteed to shoot all the way up after Young Master Dali’s change in the plot. Therefore, the benefits he would receive would increase greatly too. If he didn’t behave diligently now, then what time would be more appropriate?

Lin Hao began to tell Hong Dali about the story of this fighting scene. “In this fighting scene, the enemy has caught up and then meets the male lead and starts fighting. After fighting for a while, the female lead also joins the battle.”

It was just a fighting scene, simple and direct—there was nothing much to explain. Lin Hao explained in just a few sentences, and Hong Dali already understood most of it.

When Shen Guanghe had changed into a slightly clean set of clothes, the filming resumed. The design was still the same as the original, but there was no blood. From this point of view, this crew was still very meticulous. After all, in this deep forest, it would be weird if he managed to change to a new set of clothes. Hong Dali gave high praise for that and rewarded each person 1,000 yuan!

The male protagonist came out and practiced martial arts in the woods—that is, the “Nine Suns Divine Art” which was added in by Hong Dali. At this time, the big villain appeared—it was a minor character that looked as perverted as one could get. Very ugly-looking, he held a long blade in his hand as he ran all the way to catch up. Hong Dali mentally collapsed on the spot and slammed the table. “Are you in lack of actors? At least get someone who’s able to be looked at. Even if he’s not some super handsome dude, but the protagonist shouldn’t be someone so ugly looking, OK?”

“Ah?” Lin Hao was surprised. “Why should we get a handsome actor to act as the villain?”

At this time, the fight scene had already started—you punch me I kick you, you cut a with the blade I smash you with the pole…

Hong’s eyes almost burst out. “This is the fighting scene?”

Lin Hao was puzzled and said, “Yes, this is slow motion. When it gets faster, add some light and shadow effects, and bury a bomb around them. When the final effect comes out, it’s booming! It’s very imposing!” As if to prove his words, he especially took out his mobile phone and found a production of a fighting scene for Hong Hong to see. “Young Master, look at this. How about this?”

Hong Dali took a look—you don’t say, it really seemed a bit interesting. But just as Lin Hao was feeling proud, Mu Zixiao, who was beside them, said, “This can also be called Kungfu? Isn’t this all done by computer special effects?”

“Why can’t this be called Kungfu?” Lin Hao was not happy. “This scene was very famous in the whole of the filming industry. At that time, it received high praise, and we even obtained the Best Special Effect Movie Of The Year Award!”

Hong Dali sighed helplessly. “This is really…”

Then, he jumped up fiercely and scared everyone. He said, “You, Director Lin, you help to hold the sunshade! Old Xiao, you and Geezer Wang go and do a practice fight! Make it look good, don’t let others look down on us!”

Mu Zixiao: “OK!”

Geezer Wang: “Sure, I shall display my skills then!”
