Chapter 1647: Joining the Battle

”Aaahhhh!” Andreas roared, mourning for his grandfather. However, his gaze soon changed as they were directed to the demons.

He understood what kind of man his grandfather was. His grandfather was kind and righteous.

Even when he was about to die, he would share a piece of his wisdom with him.

No matter how much he was saddened by this fact, he shouldnʼt forget the mission entrusted to him.

He wanted to get revenge while fulfilling his grandfatherʼs wish. So, there was only one thing to do.

”Demons! All of you are going to die.” Andreas shouted as he leaped forward.

His target was not the ancient demon that kept Leysha occupied. Instead, he went directly to the other side of the battlefield.

”!!!” The ancient demon flower noticed the killing intent and immediately summoned its power.

Multiple thorns emerged from the ground to create an obstacle for him.

Andreas let out a howl before swinging his blade. His blade was not an ordinary one, as it didnʼt deal physical damage. Instead, it directly hit the soul.

For a technique like this, their soul was none other than the spiritual energy that the technique used as a fuel.

As a result, the spikes withered, leaving nothing in Andreasʼs path.

The ancient demon flower sped up, summoning more spikes and summoning them faster.

Andreas wouldnʼt be able to break through easily. Andreas activated the Force Control to boost his speed as well as perception.

Just like his parents, the power of a wolf had been enhanced, allowing him to keep up with the summoned spikes.

He leaped from one spike after another before cutting anything that needed to be cut as he gradually approached the ancient demon flower.

Realizing that the ancient demon flower was distracted, the Magic Lord waved his hand. A powerful wave of spiritual energy flew like an arrow.

The ancient demon flower released a spike to block it, but due to the pressure from Andreas, the ancient demon flower couldnʼt use its power properly.

The magic arrow ended up piercing through the spike and hit the ancient demon flower from behind.

The ancient demon flower had expanded itself to a 5-meter-tall entity, so it couldnʼt escape the magic arrow.

The flowerʼs body swayed to the front. The attack had caused control over spikes to wane, allowing Andreas to reach the flower.

The ancient demon flower released multiple spikes and thorns from its body as the last line of defense.

Andreas simply swung his blade from afar, sending forth an attack that hit the soul directly.

The spikes were containing this attack, but it would still go through them and reach the thorns.

The thorns were the ultimate defense. It was supposed to be a defensive ability against the magic lord, but Andreas forced the flower to use it against him.

Unfortunately for the flower, the thorns werenʼt enough to stop this attack. The soul slash ended up getting a piece of the flowerʼs body.

”!!!” The ancient demon flower was enraged and surrounded Andreas with its power. It wanted to kill Andreas, even if it meant dying together.

Andreas took a deep breath before raising his spiritual energy to the limit. ”Soul Explosion.”

Suddenly, the spiritual energy flared up and destroyed everything around him.

The flower was startled.

”Leave this demon to me!” Andreas shouted.

”!!!” The Magic Lord was a bit surprised, but he knew that the Water Lord was having a hard time. It seemed he had to go there to assist him.

The Magic Lord nodded without feeling offended. This was not a prey that he could kill. Even though Andreas was much younger than him, his strength had surpassed him. Even though Andreas looked weird, he was still similar to Old Ru.

So, there was no need to say anything else. He should follow the words of the people that mattered in this battle. It was his job as the older generation on this battlefield.

The moment the Magic Lord left, the demon flower went into a berserk state. Its spiritual energy burst from its body. The spikes and thorns became tougher and deadlier.

At the same time, Andreas was perfectly aware this would happen the moment he came here.

”True Spirit Body, the Body and Soul Unity.”

There was no big change in Andreasʼ appearance. Instead, a pair of blue antennae made of spiritual energy formed on top of his head. The same blue energy covered his sword.

The demon flower sent out spikes at a faster rate. Even Andreas shouldnʼt be able to drain its vitality with his power so easily.

To the flowerʼs surprise, Andreasʼs power was simply the counter of its power.

Andreas went to the flower, fully aware of this fact. After all, he inherited a portion of Old Ruʼs wisdom. He could easily see where he should go that would benefit everyone the most.

Andreasʼ blue energy burst and burned away the soul. The flame first evaporated the spiritual energy before using the sheer pressure to crush the remaining body.

Then, he jumped toward the flower. The flower was trying to move its body, but as a plant type demon, it couldnʼt move anywhere, as its roots needed to move as well.

That was why the demon kings were carrying the flower in its small form before.

Now that it had taken root on this battlefield, there was nothing the demon could do to escape.

Andreas swung his blade, cutting a portion of the flowerʼs body.

There was no visible damage, but the energy within the flowerʼs stem was disrupted.

”!!!” All the demons were suddenly startled because they regained control of their bodies.

All this time, the flower had been controlling the demons to control the battlefield, but not anymore.

With the sudden change, the demons wouldnʼt move like an army. This way, the human army could start pushing them back.

The flower sent out everything it had toward Andreas. It was determined to kill Andreas, but its attack had become simple once the berserk state started.

Andreas cut the left side with his remaining power and escaped through the gap. With this big advantage, he was ready to go for the kill.
