ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

The road from Thirdrema from Secondil branches into three different routes.

The Underground Sea of Trees, the ruins of the Ruined Black Iron……, and the extinct volcano where the flame butterfly sits. They all come from the Era of the Gods and are connected to it somehow.

「There’s an assault from the Caves! The enemy’s army is being led by Payabusa!!」

「Did Phosphosie fall!?」

「No! They have just broken through the defenses, without trying to exterminate everyone!

「Kuh, I wonder if the defense are thin because of that sudden attack made by the Burning Great Red wing……!?」

The Streamers’ Live Frontline’s assault team was being led by Payabusa, who has broken through the defense lines erected by the opposite camp, and together with his cohorts he was dashing straight towards the enemy camp, approaching the walls of Thirdrema.

「Ohh, you can see it well from here.」

「Comrade! What do we do?! The city’s magic defense was destroyed in that earlier attack, right!?」

「By the way, how long does it take for the barrier to recover?」

「I know! It is said to be something around half a day!」

「Then we have no choice but to pray that the Burning Great Red Wing is going to cool down before the end of the day, huh……?」

Although she thought it might have been a possibility here, Pencilgton squints her eyes a little at the composition of the main battle, which was going to be way too early. Even though the Players are showing their intention to intercept, if the enemy Players are approaching in front of them, the current Thirdrema with its destroyed magical protection barrier thanks to the Burning Great Red Wing is not going to last long. In other words, there is no way to prevent magical attacks on the walls.

But that’s a completely different story. The story at hand for now……

「Honestly, I did not expect a siege battle so early on, out of all things.」

「What are we going to do now?」

When Katsu asked Pencilgton that with a very much predator-like smile on his face, Pencilgon’s reply was very simple, with the same kind of predatory smile on her face.

「What are we going to do…… I’ve already set everything up……」

The moment when a man in flashy red armor raises his sword while yelling at the head of the assault group, perhaps to make it easier for others to recognize the signal.

「When you put in magical power, you pull the magical power conduction thread through magic hotline that conducts magical power to the item touching the string. So you pull it straight to the ground. The second castle wall, which is filled with soil and disposable magic scrolls containing explosive magic…… I wonder if a “Firewall” is a good name for such a thing?」

Under the eyes of the Pencilgton and others looking down from the outer wall of the Thirdrema, the explosions launched by the Players lurking on the left and right of the road leading from the Underground Sea of Trees caves started to occur one after another, until they formed a huge wall of fire and the person who seems to be the streamer at the front of the assault was devoured by them..

It seems that the Players of the New King faction weren’t so mad that they would blindly rush into the wall of fire and into their deaths, even if the tension and the momentum of the situation would make that all too easy.

「Think we got them? That streamer?」

「Aaahahahahaha! I will destroy all the cameras that aren’t suitable for me!!」

「Well, that was the kind of a laugh that you don’t want other people to listen to, like ever. And what’s with that smile? Isn’t it way too scary?」

Pencil Gon gently pushed Katsu’s back, and when he lost his balance and fell down from the outer wall, what he saw was the face with a bright smile, but the eyes that weren’t laughing. She then turned around and started to give instruction to the Players who were apparently waiting for her.

It seems that the color of fear is mixed in the line of sight for some of them, but Pencilgton, who is well aware that what is necessary for leadership is cohesion and fear, is already looking beyond the flames. She points the tip of her spear at the enemy Players who may be looking for a way to break through.

「There is no chemical weapons ban treaty in this game!」

“Alchemy Poison” is available by asking pharmacist Players who are aiming to become alchemists to create it. That is also one of the reasons why they came to Thirdrema.

It is an indispensable item for Players who mainly use Damage Over Time effects, but it is possible to give it a condition abnormality by a frame judgment different from the normal condition abnormality. But after all, it was made by a fledgling pharmacist who has not reached the top profession of alchemy tree quite yet.

As long as the Vitality stat is not so low as it would be around the level fifty, it is possible to resist it without the need for detoxification items.

But this game is Shangri-La Frontier. It’s too stupid to believe in endless pharmacy potential. It is just what is written in the very flavor text of this world, if you want to master this reality, you need to do it yourself through your own efforts.

「Poisonous gas !?」

「No, it’s just any normal poison! No big deal! Now! The walls of flames have disappeared! Press on the assault!!」

「Payabusa-san is dead!?」

「Don’t even try to run away! You’ll be shot to the back on the spot!」

「This thing…… Is this perhaps the “Poisonous Lizards Liver’s” doing……? Oh shit, not good! This thing is also highly flammable!」

In front of the Thirdrema Castle Gates the enemy chain of command disappeared because the leading flaghead burned down in the huge explosion. Even if there is a moment of confusion, it’s not like the Players would be able to do anything against the poison on their own, especially if their commander was now gone and there was no one to tell them what to do…… But even so, some of the New King camp Players have begun to break through the green dust could and scaling the walls. Standing on the edge and looking down at them, they could see a woman with long black hair that everyone remembered from somewhere.

「Ignition !!」

A high-class flame magic that is released one after another from the top of the walls filled with the wrought the flammable properties of the poison “Poisonous Lizard Liver’s Dust” With the participation of the Players who were hiding to build the firewall at the beginning, the flames struck from the three directions, left and right and above, ignited the dust and chained without stopping……… The big explosion shook the remaining Players and pushed them back.

「It wouldn’t be a problem if you were entirely wiped out here……」

Looking down at the sea of burning flames, which would have burned to death even the toughest monsters and demons, Pencilgton laughed out loud while smiling in a bitter way.

This game is Shangri-La Frontier, and some Pioneers of course don’t die to fire. The brilliance of protective magic is mixed in the explosions, and the Tanks who seem to have endured the damage with some heat-resistant skills start moving forward while stepping on the path heated by the explosion. Some Players seem to have been killed by a double combo with flames and poison, but it’s still not the same as dealing with NPCs.

「Then next, let’s drop the hot oil together with the pots, shall we!?」

The third heat wave that attacks the Players of the New King camp. It didn’t take long for them to annihilate the blitzkrieg, but the battle is still in its infancy.

「…… You seem to be getting way ahead of yourself, Pencilgton. You won’t be forgiven for that.」

Katsu, who was looking at the scene from the edge of the peephole opened in the wall and started running up the wall by activating the climbing skill to clear the resentment that was pushed down at the bottom of his heart, while also flipping the arrows that were occasionally flying towards him.
