ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「If this camp manages to win…… Well, that’s not very desirable on our part, but that’s the introduction hook for the next feature. It’s a reason for viewers and fans to accept playing ShanFro sustainably from now on. And we are going to be a part of it……」

After that, there was silence for a while.

「Ahh, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m the type that actually says whatever comes to my mind without actually thinking about it…… Anyways! Thank you for your cooperation for the day!」

While each of the gathered Players went on to log out, collect materials, or pick up the armor or weapons that they were making as part of their final preparations, the only two who remained were Payabusa and Garnose.

That being said, it’s not like they were trying to hide anything from the other Players. They just wanted to chat for a little bit, albeit in private, where no one else would be able to hear them. However, when the stories that they wanted to chat about were about to finally run out, Payabusa finally said those words.

「……So anyways, that one story I heard about…… Are we seriously doing it?」

「Yeah…… You bet that we are doing it……」

「No, but seriously, as I mentioned before…… Isn’t that bad? Burning such a thing down.」

「If you are so against the idea, you can always cut the stream short or play while wearing a mask.」

「No, I don’t want to be someone who is unable to be identified……」

「Payabusa.」

「Yes, I am Payabusa.」

「The root of this story runs too deep. It’s way too much……」

No matter what or how he would try to persuade him here, he didn’t intend to change his own opinion. Payabasa, who is a companion because of the situation, had a bitter expression on his face when he heard the word “root” that was not even revealed to him, but for the time being, he said the following:

「Just don’t count on me when you’ll have to make an apology video.」

「When it comes to that, I’ll do anything for the others to forgive me. Even a triple axel into a backflip into a fully-blown groveling.」

「Sorry, let me make a slight correction here. If you are going to do something so clip-worthy, I’ll surely be there to capture it.」

*********

“Live Streaming Frontline”. If they were aiming at creating a “rogue wave” by dropping a big stone of into the pond that is the game world, this was the best way to possibly go about it.

「Now then, tomorrow is finally going to be the time that we have been all waiting for, my dear RPA guys!」

They were all “bombs”. Carefully adjust their power, range, and timing to create the greatest explosion ever with the greatest effort ever put into it.

That is the purpose of “RPA” … Red Pencil Agencies led by Arthur Pencilgton.

The Streamers’ Union. The announcement of the revised streaming front that continues to be procured in real time. And it is known that the streamers’ front side has not devised a big measure by the report from the spy who she had hidden in various places.

「It seems that our enemy has everything planned out! And if they have a plan of their own, then this means that we shall respon by having no plan at all!」

「「Comrade! Comrade Pencilgton!」」

「Do you want a country you can call your own!?」

「「「OOOHHH!!!!!!」」」

「As long as we allow the tyranny of Thirdrema to continue, we will never be truly free! We will never have a place to call our own! Do you want a prime location for your dwelling!?」

「「「「「OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!」」」」」

With each sentence spoken by Pencilgton, the crowd gather before her was getting more and more excited. Just like that, their tension would only continue to rise endlessly, even though the day of the decisive battle was only about to come.

「Our enemies are none other than the “Live Streaming Frontline”! Have you seen the PayaGull Channel? How many hours have you watched Karintou’s all-night broadcasts? Have you ever tried Kaizaki-san’s viewer-participation-type hundred-man kumite? Did anyone hit GGMC? So we are going to kill them! We’ll kill them all! And if they don’t want to eat dirt, we’ll just stuff it down their throats with ketchup and mayonnaise!!!」

「Comrade! Is it okay if we use wasabi instead!?」

「Ghost pepper would be much better!!」

「Huh! The compromise here would be an instant-death spice-combination!!」

「Blood!! We want to see the blood of the streamers!!」

「Force them to donate blood when they lose! All of it!!!」

Everyone present started to spit out the words that could only be best described as nonsensical. No matter how much you attribute their words to excitement, some of those words were still inexcusable…… But it’s fine.

Members of the RPA…… Or how they were once called, the Pencil Dynasty, they don’t want to be beautiful heroes. They only want to look down on those who think that they are better from them, something which they couldn’t possibly do in real life. They want to overthrow those who are of high-class positions and who pride themselves with their honor. They want to be superior to others within the realm of MMO instead of just silently filling the content within single player games…… Pencil Warrior, Arthur Pencilgon could affirm those urges for them, making use of them instead of throwing them away.

Throughout the journey called life, the time spent playing games never exceeds the total amount of life. Therefore you must always be extra careful while on that journey, so that you won’t do something you might actually end up regretting.

Live happily and die happily. If you can put the moment you die in bright colors, there is no need to hesitate in a game where you live and die many times without much consequence.

「There’s no need for any more meetings! Everyone’s strategy is breaking the heads of our enemies into tiny little pieces! And if so! Let’s do it while adding ad libs all over the place! Overthrow the kingdom! As long as you are under the right banner, no matter if you kill hundred people or more, we will be the ones who will be called Heroes at the end of the day! Because our cause is the just one!」

「「「「「「OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!」

When you get right down to it, the origins of both Streamers’ Union and Red Pencil Agency are one and the same. It is to enjoy “ourselves” as much as possible…… On behalf of the two kings, the moment of clash was just around the corner.

……………

「…… So, it would be the moment for the “Wolfgang” to make their move as well, huh?」

「Well, isn’t this flow of events really similar to that of the rally of the evil organization that won’t end its quest for world domination until they are completely wiped out? Can you stop trying to drag me into the evil organization like that?」

「Shut the hell up, Katsu-kun. Aren’t you forgetting that for the moment I am the special advisor of Thirdrema? In other words, I am Justice itself.」

「Then I guess that Justice is pretty much dead.」

「Umm! What are we going to do on that day!?」

「That is a very good question, my dear Akitsu Akane-chan. As we all know, we have two people whose current whereabouts are largely unknown. However, I want to believe that they will be good and obedient little lads and that they will come when we summon them.」

***

「Nyan, nyan.」

「Huh?」

「I mean, we are going to the kingdom of Cats, right? If so, I was wondering if I should add “Nyan” at the end of my sentences……」

Just please…… Don’t you even dare to use cat ears accessories or a cat tail plug in public. I didn’t even know that there is a demand for items like that in this game.

When we were about to start approaching Catzeria, Deepslaughter suddenly came up with a wild proposal like that. She then started to make some rather questionable moves and noises…… But that being said, man aren’t those clouds looking mightly suspicious?

「Well now, don’t be so harsh all of a sudden, Sanraku.」

「Uwah, I think I’m starting to hear things. Is there something wrong with my voice? Or could it be it’s just the wind?」

「Hahaha, this is really refreshing! I don’t usually have time in the real world to wear cat ears like that.」

For some reason, the other three, who should have been the adult responsible members of society, started to be strangely enthusiastic about the idea of cat ears. It’s really had to imagine someone like Karoshis engaging in such activity, so please forgive me for not even trying to do that.

「…………」

「…… Come on! Nyan, nyan!」

Huh? What the? All of a sudden I’m the bad guy for not trying to do it? God, I hate it so much…… No, it’s not that I’m embarrassed to do something like that right in front of the grinning Deepslaughter, but it’s more like…… anxiety? It seems to me that she would use that later to do something wierd and strange. Yeah, you asshole! Don’t you even try to record it!!!

「But I wasn’t even doing anything!」

The best I can do here is to wear Migratory Bird Mask. And I put it on instead of trying to wear some cat ears……

「Time to impersonate some Black-Tailed Seagull!」

「Black-Tailed Seagulls do not have burning faces, as far as I know!!」

「I think that someone is way too tied up by the shackles of common sense!!」

「This thing is that piece of equipment from the Orchestra battle, isn’t it? What does it even do?」

「Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!」

「The only thing you are trying to mimic here is how the cats usually vomit!」

「This sounded more like the sound a crow would make after it went mad from seeing just how fucked up the world really is!」

「This sounds more like a fresh employee who just broke down after suffering through inhuman amounts of overtime!」

Oi, you guys! What’s with those tounts!? Don’t say things here that you would never say to any normal person out there! And hey, Karoshis! Why aren’t you saying anything here!? It was a cute Black-Tailed Seagull impresonation! Go and tell them that!

「Good! I like it, Sanraku-kun! Now go and strike a female leopard pose!!」

「Are you really sure that your brain is not wired in a wrong way!?」

Just a little bit more until we reach Catzeria..
