ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「The Grand Duke is dead!!?」

「Don’t be stupid here, Katsu-kun! You really think I would put such an important person in a facility that seems to be so overtly important like that!?」

「Normally that would be the case, but when the person telling you this has a track record of hanging the entire royal family from the ceiling, then that’s an entirely different thing!」

「…… What’s that all about?」

「I don’t care about that crap now! What’s more important, we need to do damage control, and do it fast!」

Immediately after the start of the Kingdom Mayhem, there was an extremely hot ray that struck Thirdrema from the summit of the extinct volcano that was nearby, really intently and really violently…… It pierced the strong magical defense barrier that had been controlled faster than melting the butter with a hot knife, and pierced the mansion of the Grand Duke, which was a symbol of Thirdrema.

「As you can see, the top part of the mansion was blown away! That’s really bad, Comrade! Even the rubble was vaporized……!」

「Vaporized……!?」

Light, scorching hotness, and high fever attacks are rare but present in the world of Shangri-La Frontier. At least, it is close to common sense among Players who choose a wizard as a job that the beam can be shot if they continue to specialize in flames among all available spells.

And there are monsters that handle flames and beams as well…… but still, no matter how large or wide the damage is, they were always able to withstand such attacks… …

For example, “Maximum Defense Holder” Joset. If she specializes in magical defense and seriously strengthens her defense, she will be able to withstand the the attacks of even the Unique Monster “Siegwurm, the Heavenly Emperor”. Even its Dragon Breath.

.

But that’s because Siegwrum’s attack cuts HP. For example, the instant death attack exercised by the Black-Death ghost True Quiet…… will result in unquestioned death no matter how much the absolute barrier is put up (that is not to say that there is no countermeasure, Joset replies). (Probably).

But what if,

「Instant death attack of that scale…… What if it’s something like that……?」

「…… It’s certainly possible. Our opponent is a Raid Monster, in short, a Boss Monster. If it’s a multi-premise boss, it’s not uncommon to have a preemptive instant death technique up its sleeve.」

「But if so, then wouldn’t it have a series of fires? If anything, it’s a countdown system that shows its power first and then activates again if you don’t stop it fast enough during the battle?」

Rust and Mold, who have some experience in action games as well as Nephilim Hollow, give a positive opinion to Pencilgton’s expectations.

The tension of the Player Versus Player war event has already been blown away, and Players are flooded with information about a Raid Monster that has appeared at the top of the extinct volcano. Pencilgton was looking at it with a bitter expression, but she hurriedly assembled the future strategy by dividing it into the fact that there was no hope for complete Player control from the beginning.

「What are we going to do !? Are we going according to the first strategy?!」

「How about you, Katsu-kun? What do you think?」

「Hmm…… I think it’s better for me to stay here. This thing went pretty much inactive for now, but we don’t know when it will activate once more. We might need someone who is fast and experienced in hard combat right here just to be on the safe side.」

The “Great Red Wing” is a Raid Monster that has some battle reports even though it is inactive for now.

And Oikazzo, who has the most experience of fighting the inactive garlic-like monstrosity, has been thinking for a while, looking down as if to try and convince himself of something……

「What is the conclusion?」

「For the time being, I’d like to challenge it myself after all the people who are heading there to basically die now. I wonder if I can capture it in two days……?」

Pencilgton, who completely ignored the “question mark” part of that sentence decided that Katsu could do it, adjusted the strategy that was about to collapse in the early stages and gave instructions once again.

「Okay! While Katsu will be busy with taking down that beam-shooting weapon, we are going to carry on with our initial strategy!」

「Isn’t that something I said before?」

「If only this place was attacked by a Raid Monster, we could as wll send an e-mail to everyone and relegate them to the bombing operation at once. However, if we are to assume that this is a scenario similar to the Dragon Disaster War, then we can assume that the Raid Monsters are going to appear in other places as well. If so, then the conditions are the same, am I right? We can then move according to the strategy!」

「Comrade! It’s a hit! A green Raid Monster is attacking over there! It’s based on a corps system!」

At least, it seems that the original schedule went completely derailed. This is a timed wide range instant death firepower, but apparently the Raid Monster over there is a simple physical quantity type. Both are common in that they cause great damage over a wide area, but there are also no other gimmicks or differences.

「Nice! I like that! I wonder if the other side will be wiped out by some sort of calamity as well?」

Pencilgton gives instructions one after another to “a hand piece that surely moves as instructed” while screaming openly what she would not normally say.

「Unit A! Rush into the enemy’s main team with reconnaissance, as scheduled! Unit B! Rush into the enemy’s main team! Unit C! Promptly notify the information from Unit D! The secret word is……!!」

「「「「「A prime location for Thirdrema! We will be looking down on you now, bourgeoisie !!」」」」」

「Alright! The time for capitalism has finally come! Everyone, start to act!」

Satisfied with seeing off the RPA members who started their actions with disciplined movements, Pencilgton looks back on her own Guild, a kind of “favorite”…… “Wolfgang”.

「Now then, as for you, guys……」

「Well, I don’t normally like to cooperate with others, not even in the current flow of events. I think they are the same force, so……」

「Surprisingly, we’re all together in this thing, no matter if it takes us to Heaven or Hell. When we get on the decapitation stand, let’s make it a solo guillotine, shall we……?」

「I’m sorry, Comrade Pencilgton!」

A member of RPA, who should have moved to another place to start the action, returned in a hurry.

At least there must have been something urgent that came up for him to be in that much of a hurry. Pencilgton who judged that he was the Player assigned to the Unit C that transmits the information from the Unit D that collects information by watching the streams of the Streamers’ Live Line Front in real time. This was imperative to know what the enemy was currently up to.

「Payabusa and GUN! GUN! group of Players led by the mercenary corps broke through the Raid Monsters!」

And what does that tell us?

「They really like their blitzkrieg, huh!?」
