ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

There are mermaids and mermen in this game.

However, the general image of the world is only as far as appearance goes, and their overall image and identity is like a butterfly crossed with an anglerfish, or like the fish part is the one that really matters, the human part being just a mere bait.

The reason why they looks like humans in part is that…… In short, humans are included in their potential prey list. Monsters that are carnivorous and prey on humans are common to have at least some part of their bodies being humanoid in shape. Apparently that’s a rule.

Therefore……… A monster whose upper body is humanoid or whose torso except for its limbs is humanoid in shape…… In short, the human part of it is not a recognition of a “bait”, but it is actually a part of its “life”. I wonder what to think about a monster like that?

What would you think if the buns and tea from the pot were talking to each other when you were trying to talk about important business with the boss of the company? If it was about me, I would eat them and drink them all up on the spot so that they could be silenced forever.

However, because this place is the place that it is and the situation is the situation that it is, a simple and easy solution like that is sadly out of the question……

「You bastard……!」

「You Human-like thing……!!」

Here we have both a Centaur and a Harpy…… And from what I can say those two seem to be the chiefs of their respective “clans”. As for their names, I think they were something like……

「Basashi and Sasami?」

「Human Being, they are called, Bazara and Tosazani…… respectively.」

「Oh, really? Thank you for that, Urdim-san.」

Remembering names is a bother. Let’s just call them Horse Sashimi and Scissors.

The two of them just keep on glaring daggers at me, the kind of look that is far from being friendly. They also seem about ready to attack me at any moment now…… But fortunately, it doesn’t seem that Weissash is going to condemn me if I happen to rough them up while defending myself. Quite the contrary, actually. It would seem that I have his approval to show those chumps their place.

Yes, this whole situation seems to be taken straight out from a badly executed shounen manga: there has to be a clear distinction between the good guys and bad guys, and someone needs to be beat in order for the story to progress.

「Yes, yes, yes, but keep in mind that this is an important multiracial summit. It’s not like you can leave your seats under a mere pretext, so I suggest that you sit back on your ass and behave for the time being.」

「Yes, we will do that. But first of all, we think it’s important to clean this place from the elements that clearly do not belong here……」

「Hoo? What was that, asshole? Wanna go? Those were some fighting words. Just so you know, I’m pretty strong myself?」

I then take a step forward. And then, mysteriously, for some reason, Basashi-kun takes a step back in a hurry. If you look at it, Sasami-chan also has her feathers standing upright all over her body for some mysterious reason…… Fufufu, did you think that I honestly came here without gathering any information on my end? Unfortunately for you, I have many acquaintances within the cat community. I have obtained information from Aramis on those of you guys who are sick of humans. So what need to be done here?

Well, I just need you bastards to truly understand the strength and terror of “my” existence……!!

「What’s wrong with Basashi-kun and Sasami-chan? Why are you scared of me like that? It’s not like I’m some big bad wolf you meet in the wilderness in the middle of the night or something…… So let’s just try to sit down and calm down. Then we can have a talk.」

「Tsk.」

Nightprowler Luukan. It’s the embodiment of the night itself, and my long-sworn nemesis at the same time, who constantly does things to me that makes my hatred for it burn even brighter. I just hope that you’re ready for what’s coming to you one day, Luukan.

However, looking at it from a different point of view, Luukan is also considered to be the strongest Beast-Type monster in the game world. Moreover, you have a chance to randomly encounter it all over the world map if you are unlucky enough. So you can encounter it right after beginning your adventure, get roughed up by it, and then it will leave just like that.

So in spite of all the unusual creatures that do not fit into their respective ecosystems, the shadowy wolf is just like a shining sun ——- positioned well above the tip of the apex of the local food chain as far as the New World is concerned.

From Luukan’s point of view, both Horse Sashimi and Sasami are literally like walking horse sashimi and flying scissors. Nothing more and nothing less. So it would be natural that they fear someone like Luukan instinctively.

And that’s literally me now. Those two terrible wounds carved on my body. This isn’t just a mere “Curse”, it’s a “Scratch Wound” that I got (albeit unwillingly) by defeating Luukan in battle, even if it was only a shadow of the real thing. There is only one simple and clear fact that all of this points to.

「I guess I’m partially at fault here for making so much noise, but it was all for the sake of the life counseling of my dear neighbor right next to me, so it’s only natural that I would get a little bit overly excited……! And you can hate the idea all you want, but I’m not leaving this place.」

I don’t care about the unity of monsters at all, but the problem here is that coming here and being here is the crucial part of the interlude in Weissash’s Unique Scenario EX.

There is no kindness in the design of this game like “Leading the Player towards the ‘Objective Clear’ by the hand”. If you only play ShangriLa Frontier for a little while you would get it. And even if there is such a thing, such kindness is cut off from the Unique Scenarios of high difficulty. In other words, all I have to worry about here is the “Likability” gauge of Weissash. And if so, neither the Vorpal Soul meter nor the support for Rabbitz can see a drop in this place!

As a human being who has won the battle against the Nightprowler Luukan, I need to make sure that all the monsters in here recognize my existence for what it truly is. And besides…… I have already been late for the first day of the Multiracial Summit, but I’m going to step on it and make up for being late with my actions!

「Oh Sanraku, are we going to have a fight?」

「No, it’s just a slight quarrel. Nothing to worry about. Sit down for now.」

「Oh, I see……」

Survival, who was currently looking at the atmosphere that was getting more and more terrible by the minute, stands up to start a fight, but I put my hand on his shoulder to stop him from doing that. However, from the look of things on the other side, it seems that this managed to create a target other than myself for them. Sasami-san especially seemed to be glaring at Survival in a particularly nasty way.

「What is it?」

「Stop screwing around with us!」

Oh, so I guess that her wings were not just for decoration purposes, huh? Sasami-san emerges in the air as she flaps her wings that she had instead of her arms. What kind of propulsion she has, I wonder? She literally shoots towards Survival with a flying kick at the ready, with her feet armed with dozens of sharp claws.

However, Sasami doesn’t know. This Player called Survival is really…… a Player otherwise known as “Bibal”, from the times of Survival Gunman, a guerrilla gorilla who once went around the entire servers picking fights with various people, armed only with his fists. And he always emerged victorious..

And she doesn’t know what Survival is way better at fighting than another guy from our party, the gun nut Yashiro Bird, former Atbird. And then……… If it’s a human bullet battle within a radius of one meter, I hold a track record of defeating Atbird on numerous occasions, who was fully armed with a gun and an iron plating armor, in one or right under it.

「Huh, I’m sorry, Sanraku, but it would seem I have to buy more than I’ll be able to sell.」

「T-This, puah……!?」

Wow, Sasami-chan, I pity you so much…… I know that I have suffered from it on some occasions, but this was the first time I was able to see what that attack really looks like.

It was Sasami-san who made a surprise attack from the air in the first place, but before that, Survival, who was ready for battle from the very beginning, stood up and he was faster to shoot a high kick in the direction of the harpy.

Survival anti-aircraft high kick. What kind of dynamic visual acuity is this? This lolicon can kick at the position where his heel hits the opponent’s jaw accurately against a surprise attack from above. When this was done on an isolated island, “Sanraku” in Survival Cancer was a child’s avatar that was lightly shaken off by it, and by guarding at the last minute, he managed to avoid a one shot KO.

However, Sasami-san here is the chief of the harpies. That is, her performance is higher than that of the general harpy…… The propulsive force is superior to that of the general individual, and it is added to the power of the heel that sticks into her chin as it is. To be honest, I was really wondering what to do if she ended up dead on the spot…… But then I heard a strange noise, and my neck started to move at a terrifying speed, but I’m probably alive thanks to that, looking at the fact that I did not disappear.

「Uwah, that’s an anti-aircraft high kick if I have ever seen one.」

「I used to practice it even when I was playing with Tias-tan and the rest of the Dress-Up Corps, so that the technique would not rust. Pretty neat, huh?」

「And go figure, my turn is probably never going to come…… Do you hate guns that much?」

「The Round table talks………… A meeting ……… In-house competition ………… Mister President …… Mysterious ad lib responsibility ………」

「Look, man, I’m sorry that things took such a wrong turn here, but let’s just try to calm down for now, okay? Karoshis-san, can you do that? Besides, you’re in private now! In! Private!」

「In…… Private…… Now……」

You’re not partying with unexploded ordnance here, man. Get a grip.

However, it would seem that Basashi-kun’s patience has finally reached its limit. This Horse Sashimi now takes a pose peculiar to a horse standing only on its hind legs, about ready to swing its front legs. Or swings his fists with the upper body of a human and rushes towards me with the lower body of the horse. Huh …………

「“Sunny Flow ‘Wave’…… Secret Technique……”!

In the Sunny Flow series, you can acquire three types of skills for each of the seven sub-types: wind, lightning, waves, sky, clouds, heat, and ash. However, when one of the three is sublimated into “Secret Technique”…… the possibility of the other two becoming “Secret Techniques” as well drastically diminishes, or disappears completely. It’s as if three thin threads were bundled together to narrow down to one thicker possibility.

It was really worth throwing all those Armillet Gargantura to their deaths in Sigmonia Battlefront Valley. Leveling up and strengthening the skills that accompany it ……… Oooh, Wezaemon, my buddy! Now is the time to graduate from imitating your appearance to fully becoming you!

This is it. This is the genuine article.

「─── Great storm “Maelstrom”!!」

The fastest and the strongest throw. When referring to the Player’s Strength status, the speed and weight of the throw will increase “as much as it stands out from other stats”. It doesn’t matter whether the lower half of the body is that of a horse or a hippo, if I am now the one who has gained the Maximum Strength by exchanging Strength and Luck with the help of the indigo Holy Grail!

「This is the power of the human beings from Beyond the Surging Waves!」

It will be a good experience for you, Pegasus.

I then look at the horse sashimi who crashed into the wall. I then turned my gaze toward Weissash…… How about something like that? Was that good enough?
