ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

One reason is a simple force ratio. They understand which side of the world is with “justice” here. Or at least was supposed to be…… It is self-evident that if the New King Camp is victorious, there will be conflict with the New Continent, but the reason why they dared to join with the new king side is to adjust the force ratio in the upcoming conflict.

If the conflict is settled at the very beginning of the event period, it will not be a good thing for all the streamers out there. Therefore, when the division by camps was announced, their watchers and fans would follow their example. It might lead to the strength balance to be uneven to some extent, but…… But their intention here was for that strength ratio to be as evenly distributed as possible.

The second reason is to simply increase the number of people who will participate in this event. As mentioned above, justice lies with the Former King’s camp in this battle. At least in terms of modern Japan and, by extension, the values of the modern world, the New King’s camp who is thinking of armed interference within the New Continent would be classified as “evil” or “aggressor”. Although the Streamers’ Union has ostensibly stated that “ShanFro is a godly game, it may be possible to persuade the new king to stand down,” but of course there are fan bases who do not want to belong to the new king’s side for emotional reasons. Therefore, at the same time, the Streamers’ Union also stated that, “Even if you turn to the enemy’s side, you are welcome to join us!”

What happens after making a statement like that…… is of course an increase in viewership for the streamers. The streamers broadcast the gameplay in real time, but at the same time can also leave the live distribution as a video archive. Advertising of various sorts can be attached to videos. That is, advertising revenue affiliates are generated by the views of the videos. Money is the reason here, but that doesn’t mean it’s the main purpose for them here. It’s just one of the many reasons.

And then there is the third reason. It is about the Player who has been attached to the Former King’s camp for a while now, as was determined by the preliminary investigation. As far as it is known, most of the Players who have expanded their sphere of activity to the New Continent are on the side of the Former King.

Among them, if you only care about the more famous personalities, is the leader of the “Black Swords” that seemed to prosper after the initial division of their Guild…… The owner of the Holy Sword, Saiga-100. Then there is the Brain Muscle Massive Dynamite. The The Thinker Kyoju, the Chief of the “Library” Guild, which is the largest Players-gathering guild in the entire game…… If you ask about ten other Players, there are many Players who are likely to know at least one or more of the above-mentioned names, and they are bound to be on the side of the Former King’s camp. And above all else…… For better or worse, the Streamers’ Union thought it was very likely that the most famous Player in the game of Shangri-La Frontier was in the Former King’s camp.

The name of that particular Player is “Sanraku”. It is the man or woman who is the most advanced in this world at the current moment, someone well-versed in defeating the Unique Monsters, which is the main content of Shangri-La Frontier, with angry momentum (even if it is a female avatar, its gender identity seems to be clear by its voice alone, but for some reason both of his genders are the focus of various rumors being spread about.)

Famous Players tend to attract attention towards the screen. And if they are able to be charismatic and entertaining while doing just that, it will only serve to make their name become known even further and further. And if that famous Player happened to be a streamer? It also leads to the increased number of views, and above all else…… to more excitement and entertainment being provided.

「Oh well, I guess it cannot be helped if a bump or two emerge down the road, so let’s just move on for now and review the arrangement for the day.」

「As it was established before, we’ll rush into Thirdrema first and foremost. Well, for the time being it seems that the ordinary NPCs have all evacuated and took shelter somewhere else…… but it’s not a bad idea to be thinking here in modern military terms, even if it is the fantasy world.」

When it comes to people, they are always being drawn towards the things and words that the vast majority might find to be odd and out of the ordinary. But it’s only natural, it’s a human nature. Even if you have nothing but bad feelings about those things, even if you fight as the members of the same camp, you are still you and your channel is still your own channel. Whether the streaming is banned or the video is deleted or demonetized, others canI sympathize with you, but there’s nothing else that can be done about it.

「Ah, that’s right…… So next, there is Kaisoku-san and……」

「As we have previously discussed, we will proceed from Thirteenth to Thirdrema while engaging in interpersonal combat every enemy we happen to come across.」

「Oh, me too! That’s what I’m also going to be doing!」

「It seems that Karinto-san is also aiming for Thirdrema as well…… And I’m also an attacker, so this might create some conflict with other attackers…… No, what’s this wonderful full-attack strategy that’s blooming here?」

But that’s not that bad of an idea. In the first place, there is “he” in the New King camp to consider. If there is a man with a strength of a demon, even with the best kind of AI behind it, there is little danger that the life of the New King will be threatened anytime soon.

Besides, it’s better to go on a fully-blown offensive rather than being on the defensive all the time. Because once that happens, there will be little to no chance of actually changing that state of affairs.

「Well, I honestly think that controlling the entire camp is going to be out of the question here. If we win, we are going to think about it then, but first and foremost, let’s practice some Villain’s self-destruct scenarios and mannerisms just to be on the safe side.」

「…… Don’t say things like that before the event even starts…… Let’s not jinx things.」

The one to talk now was Garnose, one of the Players who remained silent until just now, leaving the talking to Payabusa mostly. And once he started to talk, it was only about the worst case lose scenario.

「We gathered here today for the sake of this very topic and how to prevent it. You can move as you like for the sake of the overall goal, or you can even collaborate with one another…… But no matter what you choose to do here, we are doing things for the sake of winning.」

「Well, that sounds about right.」
