ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

Maritime Guild.

It is arguably the largest Player-led production association, one that even managed to outshine the Skull Azuchi Castle and the creators of its bony towers when it comes to tempo and scale, creating a situation where even the NPCs were starting to recognize them as the symbol of the New Continent.

The biggest and greatest member of the Maritime Guild is the production job Guild “New World Constructions” led by the Player known as “E-Miria”, a Player whose name was starting to make greater and greater waves around the production job world. And at the current moment that Guild was was busy with building a sea base right near the frontline base in the New Continent. And the scale of that base was something that could only be described as previously unheard of.

In addition to the know-how gained from the process of building the Skull Azuchi Castle, the experience the members of the Maritime Guild had allowed them to build it at a terrifying speed even though it was a marine building out of all things. The added help here was also the official recognition from the Church of the Three Gods, as well as the introduction of a scientific blueprints and documents from the Era of the Gods available on board of the Leviathan. When completed, there was no doubt that it would become an important base of operations for the New Continent as a rest save point for Pioneers who would no longer depend on the New Continent Research Vessel.

…… That’s how the story goes. Which brings us to this current moment.

「No, seriously, this thing looks really amazing. I feel like being able to sneak a peek at some super secret.」

「Thanks, Surviv-san. Those words mean a lot coming from you.」

To tell the truth, even though this Maritime Guild was still officially incomplete, it was completed enough to start some of its operations already.

It could already serve as a save point for the Pioneers, it could be used as a large-scale party formation and recruitment facility, a base for production workers to do their jobs as well as a general sales facility…… And all of those facilities have been built on top of the “sea”, which made it even more impressive.

Building a foundation on the surface of the sea, which does not float on the sea itself, means that there is space in the “underwater” section of the building as well.

And some of the facilities being built underwater was a result of the proposal of one of the Players who used their masterful role-playing skills in order to appeal to the romantic side of the rest of the Players gathered here.

And the fact that such “space” is there, it doesn’t mean that it is going to be used to make some under-the-counter type of transactions. If there is such a feature there, it could even be connected by an underground passage leading from the cafe “Snake’s Apple” New Continent Branch at the front line base, or it can have a spacious Coliseum build there……… But, underground Martial Arts tournaments, which are purely PvP in nature, would be all about gambling and betting.

「Are we going to “train” here?」

「Nuh ……… Yes, that’s right, Wimp-chan. Right here, together with some nice Misters ——-」

「Your tone is extremely suspicious here, and it clearly made Wimp-chan uncomfortable. Want me to execute you?」

「Kuh…… It’s not like you were even a part of the conversation to begin with……」

「The jealousy I feel after seeing her talking to you exclusively and pulling at the hem of your clothes like that is too much to bear. How about you drop dead on the spot, huh?」

There are now multiple Player figures in this newly built undersea Coliseum. They were the ones who came to this place from the underground passage of the “Snake’s Apple”. That is, the swordsmen or the Players who belonged to the infamous Guild “Tias-chan Dress-Up Corps”. And one of those people was an unnaturally white little girl..

But the girl was not a Player, and on the contrary, she was not even a human being. Her true nature was that of a snake, even though her appearance was human. People in general call her “Goldunine the Inexhaustible”.

That being said, she’s not that Players-hostile Goldunine, but something else entirely. An existence that was bit of a mess to begin with…… or at the very least that is the official story, and no one gathered here even dared to question it. It doesn’t really matter all that much, especially not when your tastes are already kind of strange from the start.

Goldunine…… or at the very least a snake called “Wimp” that looks just like Goldunine, was brought here to this very Coliseum, but not to participate in fighting itself. In other words……

「And that is exactly why, even though I usually prefer mature women with their allure, so while it might not be right exactly up my “alley”, I’m going to take the lead here…… We are starting a “Wimp-chan Special Training Session!”」

What followed was a few seconds of small applause from a group of people that gathered here. But as soon as that finally settled down, they all started to take out various weapons and make all kinds of preparations.

This gathering here wasn’t just a social gathering at the Undersea Coliseum, which is unknown to most players yet. Foreseeing the incoming Goldunine assault, there were preparations that needed to be made in order for the Players to be able to push back Goldunine the Inexhaustible and her four dragon-snake followers once they arrive here…… But above all else, it was going to be a training camp for the Goldunine “Wimp”. That is the reason why all of those people have gathered here.

「Hey, where did that person from before go? I can’t see them here.」

「Oh…… Ahh, it’s okay. They will be back from one of the ships in about ten minutes.」

「Wow, it’s really nice, isn’t it? This whole “Face-Washing Place” that is directly connected to the sea. It can save you a whole lot of needless trouble.」

「It’s also great to have an Item Box right next to us. Saves you a whole lot of time you would have to waste on personal arrangements.」

「Recently, we have been making sure not to feed them all that much, so the monsters are all ready and waiting for some fresh blood.」

「T-That actually sounds kind of crazy, I won’t lie……」

That matter aside.

Wimp might have been a monster, but the system still treats her as a “Monsters with NPC judgment that can be organized into parties, like any NPC”. At least when it comes to game-like classification. That is, unlike the Player and their Conquest Doll, her equipment cannot be changed arbitrarily from the Player’s side. In Wimp’s case it would have to be of her own volition to choose to change her own equipment and pick up the weapon of her own choosing.

That’s why the members of the Dress-Up Corps decided to line up dozens of weapons that they no longer had any use for, and let Wimp choose any one of them that she would like to use herself.
