Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 451: Chapter 494: Are You Really That Heartless to Me?

”For five years, he’s been sleeping alone!” The implication being that for five years, he never said he was scared. So why is it that now Ye Anxin is back, suddenly he feels scared?

This is clearly trying to take him from me!

Ye Anxin quickly smiled and said, ”Precisely because she’s been sleeping alone for five years, I should make it up to him! Kids growing up without mom by their side are very pitiful!”

Upon hearing this, Mu Beiting’s face turned even darker, and he directly pried off Ye Anxin’s hand from his arm, storming into the room in anger.

Ye Anxin helplessly rubbed her forehead and followed him inside.

Mu Beiting went back to the room and walked silently into the bathroom.

Ye Anxin quickly waddled to the bathroom door, ready to go in and coax him. But as soon as she reached the bathroom door, it slammed shut right in front of her.

Ye Anxin was shut outside, staring at the closed bathroom door with her mouth twitching twice involuntarily.

What... what should she do?

Agreeing with the elder made the younger upset, agreeing with the younger made the elder upset!

She can’t possibly split herself in two, can she?

Looking at Uncle’s demeanor, if she doesn’t give up on Xiao Bai, he won’t forgive her!

What should she do?

Sigh!

It’s really her first time encountering such a father-son jealousy issue!

It’s an absolute headache...!

Ye Anxin lowered her head in disappointment, absent-mindedly returning to the bed to sit down, wondering if there could be a win-win solution!

Meanwhile, as Ye Anxin was fretting and unsure what to do, the bathroom door opened, and Mu Beiting emerged with a towel wrapped around his waist!

Seeing him come out, Ye Anxin quickly stood up and forced a smile, ”Uncle, done with the shower? Want me to towel dry your hair?”

Mu Beiting pursed his lips, ignoring her, and sat down on the bed alone, using a dry towel to wipe his dripping hair.

Ye Anxin diligently knelt behind him, took the towel from his hand, and softly helped him dry his hair.

Seeing her being so proactive, Mu Beiting didn’t resist and let her pamper him.

While drying his hair, Ye Anxin smiled and said, ”Uncle, won’t you stop being mad? Actually, I just thought of a win-win solution that might work!”

Mu Beiting’s thin lips formed a tight line, not responding.

Knowing that Mu Beiting’s silence meant he was waiting for her next words, Ye Anxin hurriedly said, ”I think, since Xiao Bai is scared and wants me to accompany him, and you want me to be with you too, why don’t the three of us sleep together? He can sleep in the middle of the bed! He’ll have both you and me by his side!”

As Ye Anxin spoke, she increasingly thought she was truly clever to have come up with such a good idea!

The scene of the three of them sleeping together as a family would be so beautiful!

However, upon hearing her so-called solution, Mu Beiting’s previously slightly softened face immediately turned gloomy again, his lips pressed tightly as he gritted his teeth and said, ”This is your win-win solution?”

Ye Anxin nodded enthusiastically, feeling proud, ”Yeah! Don’t you think it’s a good idea?”

Mu Beiting’s thin lips remained tightly pressed, silent for a long time.

Seeing him not speaking, Ye Anxin stopped her hand movement, bent down to get her face close to his, only to see his expression as dark as the bottom of a pot, her smile collapsed, and she said disappointedly, ”Uncle, you don’t like this idea!”

Mu Beiting gave her a sideways glance, suddenly turned, and pushed Ye Anxin onto the bed, his large body pressing down as he lowered his voice, hoarsely saying, ”Ye Anxin, do you even know what it means to be a wife?”

Ye Anxin blinked her glistening eyes, confused, and shook her head.

Mu Beiting took Ye Anxin’s hand, guiding it slowly down his chest, and before long, Ye Anxin could feel a warm, hard object in her hand.

”You... you... you...!” Realizing what she was holding, Ye Anxin’s face instantly flushed, stuttering several ”you” words without being able to form a complete sentence.

Since coming back, her mind was all about Xiao Bai, seemingly completely ignoring Uncle’s feelings.

Shouldn’t she also review herself, and seriously consider Uncle?

Holding Ye Anxin’s hand, Mu Beiting gently asked, ”Do you understand now? Do you still think it’s a good idea for Xiao Bai to sleep between us?”

Ye Anxin blushed, feeling guilty, ”Well... Uncle, I’m sorry, I neglected you! How about... I try to talk to Xiao Bai! But when I see his pitiful look, I can’t bear it!”

Mu Beiting said aggrievedly, ”So you can bear to do this to me?”

”I...!” Ye Anxin choked on her words, hesitated for a moment, but ultimately said with reluctance, ”Alright! I’ll go and talk to Xiao Bai later!”

Upon hearing this, Mu Beiting’s expression finally softened, his gaze grew gentle.

Just then, the room door suddenly turned open, and before the two could react, Xiao Bai’s voice sounded from the doorway, ”Daddy, Mommy, what are you doing?”

Upon hearing this voice, Ye Anxin jolted and hurriedly pushed Mu Beiting off her.

Without warning, Ye Anxin’s push caused Mu Beiting’s large body to slide off the edge of the bed onto the floor.

At that moment of landing, Mu Beiting’s face turned completely dark, his teeth grinding loudly.

Only after she heard the thud did Ye Anxin realize she might have done something foolish again. She hurriedly got off the bed to help Mu Beiting up from the floor, apologizing repeatedly, ”Sorry, sorry, I didn’t mean it, Uncle, I’m really sorry!”

Mu Beiting did not speak, his teeth tightly clenched, his eyes filled with grievances.

Xiao Bai walked up to them, scrutinized them both, and asked puzzled, ”Daddy Mommy, what were you doing?”

Ye Anxin did not dare to look into Mu Beiting’s aggrieved eyes, giving Xiao Bai a sheepish smile, ”Haha! We weren’t doing anything! Xiao Bai, why did you come over?”

Xiao Bai pouted, feeling wronged, ”I saw you hadn’t come over for so long and got worried, so I wanted to check on you!”

”Uh...” Seeing Xiao Bai’s pitiful appearance, the words of refusal stuck in her throat, unable to come out.

Mu Beiting gave Ye Anxin a cold glance, seeing her not speaking, he decided to speak for himself, ”You’re sleeping alone! She won’t come over!”

Upon hearing Mu Beiting’s words, Xiao Bai’s big watery eyes immediately filled with tears. He looked up, pitifully gazing at Ye Anxin, his voice choking, ”Mommy, is Daddy really joking like he said? You’re not going to come and sleep with me?”

”No no, Daddy was just joking with Xiao Bai! Mommy will come over soon!” Seeing Xiao Bai’s pitiful appearance, Ye Anxin suddenly felt overwhelming guilt and heartache, hastily denying it all, once again putting Mu Beiting out of her mind.
