Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 499: Chapter 542: I Want to Sleep with Brother Bai

”I saw that the four classmates who came in later had all changed their appearances, their features were all skewed. Some had holes the size of a bowl on their heads, some had eyeballs hanging out, some were missing half an arm, and one had no scalp at all! As it turned out, they were already dead! When they encountered a storm, they hurried to find shelter, but the dark and slippery road led them to accidentally slip down a slope. This is how the four of them rolled down! The injuries on their bodies came from rolling down the slope! And later...!” Guan Nuannuan paused here before continuing, ”Later, those six classmates never left that house again! Actually, if they hadn’t turned around when there was an extra person behind them, they could’ve survived. As long as they kept their heads down and ran outside, we would live! Sometimes when you’re alone, you always feel as if a pair of eyes is watching you from somewhere. This story tells us that when you feel a pair of eyes watching you from behind, never turn around, or else... you’ll become its scapegoat! It’s like when someone calls your name in the middle of the night, never turn around! Otherwise... you’ll become a scapegoat!”

Hearing this, all the women and children suddenly felt as if there were eyes watching them from behind, sending chills down their spines!

Suddenly, Guan Nuannuan seemed to remember something, pondered and said, ”How many of us are here again? A total of 17, right?”

Everyone blinked and nodded at the same time.

Guan Nuannuan extended her fingers and began counting everyone one by one, ”One, two, three... fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen... eighteen...!” When she counted to the eighteenth, her eyes widened in disbelief and counted again. It was still eighteen!

When she reached the number eighteen for the second time, the women and children present froze, screamed in fear, instinctively wanting to turn their heads, but Guan Nuannuan quickly reminded, ”Don’t turn around! Whoever turns around will become a scapegoat!”

Intimidated by her words, everyone stiffened their necks, not daring to turn their heads.

Women and children were almost scared to death, while the men showed an indifferent expression!

As everyone was hesitant to look back, only Xiao Bai turned around, looked behind, pursed his lips, and disdainfully said, ”Bunch of idiots! Where did the eighteenth person come from? Just count and you’ll know how many people there are!”

”...!” Being mocked by a mere five-year-old child, the women all blushed a little.

”Haha...!” Only Guan Nuannuan couldn’t hold back her laughter, proudly saying as she laughed, ”I scared all of you, didn’t I! Hahaha! This is so much fun, you’re all so easily frightened!”

The women looked at each other, exchanged a look, then looked at Guan Nuannuan’s back in horror.

Seeing herself laugh so gleefully while everyone else remained unresponsive, Guan Nuannuan stopped laughing, puzzled, and looked toward them!

Only to see them trembling, staring in terror behind her!

Seeing this, Guan Nuannuan felt a chill climb up from her feet to her whole body, making all her hairs stand on end.

Tiantian, hiding in Huo Junmo’s arms, peeked her head out and cooperated, saying, ”Aunt Guan, why... is there an extra person behind you?”

The smile on Guan Nuannuan’s lips froze, and even though she was scared to death, she stubbornly said, ”You won’t scare me, I’m not afraid! There’s no such thing as ghosts in the world!”

”Ah...!” Seeing her disbelief, all the women instantly jumped up from the ground, hiding in their respective men’s arms.

No matter how brave or skeptical she was, Guan Nuannuan felt unsettled, trembling as she grabbed Yan Qinghan’s arm, stammering, ”Is... is there really someone behind me?”

Yan Qinghan cradled her in his arm, gently patting her head, softly said, ”Sweetheart, don’t be afraid, they’re just teasing you! There’s nothing there! Don’t be afraid, okay? Even if there is something, with me here, you don’t need to be afraid!”

With Yan Qinghan’s reassurance, the fear in Guan Nuannuan’s heart miraculously disappeared, and she slowly turned her head to look behind her!

”Ha...!” Just as she turned around, she was met with a ghostly face with no eyeballs and blood trailing under its eyes right in front of her face!

”Ah...!” Guan Nuannuan screamed in terror, burying her head in Yan Qinghan’s embrace!

Seeing her petrified and trembling, Ling Yueyue, the one pulling the ghost prank, couldn’t hold back her laughter, ”Haha...! Now see if you dare to scare us again! Got scared yourself, didn’t you?”

Hearing the familiar voice, hiding in Yan Qinghan’s arms, Guan Nuannuan stiffened and turned her head, only to discover that the ghost that scared her was actually Ling Yueyue in disguise!

At this point, she was clutching her stomach, laughing heartily!

”Stupid Yueyue! How dare you scare me!” Guan Nuannuan jumped up, furious, lunging at Ling Yueyue!

Ling Yueyue quickly dodged, narrowly avoiding her fist!

By the campfire on the beach, everyone was talking and laughing, having an absolute blast!

Watching them play and laugh, Xiao Bai couldn’t help but smile!

Only then did Xiao Bai realize that Yan Chuxia had been nestled in his arms all this while, and he was hugging her!

Xiao Bai’s handsome face turned red, hastily pushing Yan Chuxia away and standing up awkwardly!

Caught off guard by Xiao Bai’s shove, Yan Chuxia fell to the ground!

Yan Chuxia rubbed her sore little butt, eyes red with grievance, ”Brother Bai, what are you doing? You hurt me!”

”Well, that’s what you get for staying by my side; serves you right!” Xiao Bai pouted, turning away to a dimmer spot to hide his awkwardness.

Though Xiao Bai had hurt her, undaunted, Yan Chuxia got up, dusted herself off, and scampered after him again!

Seeing her follow him again, Xiao Bai stopped running, simply turning his back to her.

That night, after plenty of chaos and fun, everyone returned to their own tents to rest!

Xiao Bai followed Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting to the RV, but just after taking a few steps, he heard Yan Qinghan calling from not far behind, ”Little one, where are you going? Our tent is over here!”

Immediately followed by Yan Chuxia’s determined voice, ”I want to sleep with Brother Bai!”

Hearing this, Xiao Bai couldn’t help but pause, turning around to see Yan Chuxia clutching a little bunny, rushing towards him with her tiny legs!

Watching the petite, chubby figure getting closer, Xiao Bai couldn’t help but twitch the corners of his mouth!
