Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 493: Chapter 536: The Ultimate Father and Son Duo

Ye Anxin wiped the water stains off herself, clearly feeling the intense anger boiling over the bodies of the two people beside her.

”Yueyue, what are you doing?” Ye Anxin playfully glared at Ling Yueyue, secretly sweating for her.

Ling Yueyue was entirely soaked in the water, seemingly oblivious to the changes in Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai, as she continued, ”Everyone’s having so much fun, and only you three are acting like nothing’s happening. I’m helping you blend into the atmosphere better!”

Ye Anxin rolled her eyes at Ling Yueyue, got up, and walked to the table by the grill to fetch a box of tissues, busily wiping the water off Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai, ”Uncle, Xiao Bai, don’t be mad. Yueyue is just playing with you! She’s always been like this!”

Unfortunately, just as she finished speaking, the group playing in the water seemed to have agreed and started splashing water at them together!

As they splashed water, they didn’t forget to gloat, ”Serves you right for not getting in the water, serves you right! Get down here and play with everyone! What’s the point of sitting up there, it’s so boring! If you don’t come down, we won’t stop!”

If, when Ling Yueyue splashed water at them earlier, they were just a bit wet, then after being splashed by so many people at once, the three of them were thoroughly soaked!

Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai’s chests heaved up and down furiously, their handsome faces alternating between green and white like a palette, full of colors, looking intriguingly beautiful!

Fearing they might get angry and storm off, Ye Anxin hurriedly soothed them, patting their chests and softly comforting, ”Don’t be angry, don’t be angry, they are just playing around! Please, don’t get upset!”

Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai’s thin lips pressed into a tight line, and veins could be faintly seen on their foreheads!

The people in the water completely ignored the anger on their faces and continued splashing water at them, determined that they would not stop unless they got in the water!

Finally, Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai couldn’t bear it anymore, stood up from their chairs, and pulled Ye Anxin to leave with them.

Thinking they were leaving in anger, Ye Anxin anxiously spoke, ”Uncle, what are you doing? Surely you don’t mean to leave in a huff! Please don’t, we just got here! It’s so much fun, I don’t want to go back yet!”

Mu Beiting didn’t look back, but answered blandly, ”Going back to the RV for a shower and a change of clothes!”

”Oh!” Hearing this, Ye Anxin finally breathed a sigh of relief!

Seeing the three of them leave, everyone felt it was no fun anymore and went back to their own activities!

Mu Beiting and the others returned to the RV, drew the curtains, and found clean clothes!

Knowing that Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai both have a cleanliness obsession and couldn’t stand it, Ye Anxin tended to them first, making sure they were perfectly clean before washing herself!

After showering and changing into clean clothes, Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai found a comfortable place to sit.

Seeing them sitting steadily, with no intention of going out, Ye Anxin raised an eyebrow and tentatively asked, ”Uncle, Xiao Bai, you aren’t going out again?”

Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai both nodded at the same time!

Ye Anxin sat down opposite them, swallowed, and smiled while persuading, ”Uncle, actually... we’re out here for fun, no need to be so restrained! Since we’re out to play, we should enjoy it! Look at them, how happy they are playing! If you don’t play openly, wouldn’t it be a wasted trip?”

Mu Beiting didn’t answer, Xiao Bai curled his lip, and said disdainfully, ”Boring! Not interested!”

Ye Anxin bit her lip, looking hopefully at Mu Beiting, ”Uncle...?”

To her surprise, Mu Beiting didn’t speak for her but instead said plainly, ”Indeed boring, completely a waste of time!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin’s eyebrows and mouth both twitched twice!

With this unique father and son pair, she really didn’t know what to say!

Up to now, she really couldn’t figure out what they liked or what interested them! Uncle spent his days always working, and Xiao Bai spent his days always studying! Don’t they have any recreation at all?

Just as Ye Anxin was at a loss, the RV door suddenly opened, and Yan Chuxia’s little head peeked in. Seeing Xiao Bai, her eyes lit up, and she quickly climbed in, wearing a little bikini, walked up to Xiao Bai, took his hand, and with a smile, said, ”Brother Bai, why aren’t you sitting on the beach anymore? When I didn’t see you earlier, I thought you left! It worried me to death!”

Xiao Bai looked at Yan Chuxia holding his hand, frowned in disgust, pulled his hand back from her ’clutches,’ and said irritably, ”You’re filthy, don’t touch me!”

Yan Chuxia blinked her big watery eyes, looked herself up and down, baffled, ”Not dirty! I just came out of the water, how could I be dirty!”

Xiao Bai curled his lip, ”Who knows how many people have been in that water, and you say it’s not dirty!”

Actually, what Xiao Bai said was already quite clear, but Yan Chuxia was still young, not even four years old, and didn’t grasp what Xiao Bai meant! She puzzledly scratched her head and mumbled, ”But everyone’s down there!”

Seeing Yan Chuxia didn’t understand what he meant, Xiao Bai frowned tighter, and looking disdainful, said, ”Idiot!”

”I...!” Unjustly scolded, especially by Brother Bai, the person she cared about the most, Yan Chuxia felt extremely wronged, and her eyes turned red immediately!

Ye Anxin took Yan Chuxia into her arms, glared fiercely at Xiao Bai, and chided, ”Xiao Bai, Chuxia is just a child of three, as her elder brother, how could you speak like that! What if you hurt her little feelings, how will you make it up to her?”

For Ye Anxin always defending Yan Chuxia, Xiao Bai finally couldn’t hold back and burst out, ”Mom, I’m your son, why do you keep siding with outsiders!”

Ye Anxin raised an eyebrow and replied confidently, ”How is Chuxia an outsider! She’s your Uncle Yan’s child, my little niece, not an outsider! Besides, I side with reason, not family! Chuxia’s so good to you, always bringing you delicious food at meals, looking for you the moment she thought you were gone! Such a good kid, and you despise her! I say, it’s you who doesn’t know what’s good for you!”

Xiao Bai curled his lip, tilted his head, and disdainfully said, ”I never asked her to be good to me! I even find her clinging to me annoying!”

Once more hurt by Xiao Bai’s ruthless comments, Yan Chuxia, though comforted by Ye Anxin, felt her eyes swell with tears again, looked at him pitifully, ”Brother Bai!”

”Chuxia, don’t mind him, he’s just ungrateful! Let’s go, I’ll take you out, since we’re here, we should have fun!” Saying this, Ye Anxin took Yan Chuxia’s hand, ready to leave with her.

Yan Chuxia remained unmoved, standing firmly, and said resolutely, ”No! Brother Bai said it’s dirty, so I’m not going!”
