Not Being a Trainer This Time

Moves like Dialga’s Spacial Rend, the Swords of Justice’s Sacred Sword, Keldeo’s Secret Sword, Zacian’s Behemoth Blade, and Groudon’s Precipice Blades.

But a single Farfetch’d can’t learn these moves!

Naoki stared at Farfetch’d, and suddenly a dish he once made came to mind: the Berry Platter.

It’s just that it’s a double-edged sword, allowing Pokemon to learn new moves but also making them forget moves they already knew.

Seeing Naoki not responding for a while, Farfetch’d sighed.

It said nothing more, gripping its leek and turned to leave.

Seeing this, Naoki hastily called out, ”Wait a minute!”

Farfetch’d stopped and turned to look back.

Naoki: ”Have you ever heard of a sword technique that can cut through space?”

”Gah?!” Farfetch’d was shocked. Cut through space? It didn’t understand, but it sounded amazing!

”That move is Spacial Rend.” Then, Naoki elaborated on Precipice Blades, Sacred Sword, Behemoth Blade, Bitter Blade, and other moves to this Farfetch’d.

At the end, he looked at the Farfetch’d whose eyes were filled with excitement and said, ”I have a way to let you learn these moves.”

”Gah!” Farfetch’d’s eyes were filled with determination; no matter how hard it is, it won’t give up!

”No, it has nothing to do with effort,” Naoki shook his head.

”Gah?” Farfetch’d was confused. Then how to learn?

”It mainly relies on your luck.” Naoki detailed the effect of the Berry Platter: ”This magical cuisine I created has two effects.”

”One lets you randomly grasp a move from a pool, and those divine sword techniques I mentioned earlier are in there, but the chance is extremely low.”

”The other effect makes you randomly forget the moves you’ve already learned, but the only good part is that with time and effort, you can relearn them.”

”I won’t force you to use this method; the choice is entirely up to you.” said Naoki.

Farfetch’d fell into deep thought.

This wasn’t quite what it expected.

But thinking about those powerful sword skills this human just mentioned, not to mention waterfalls, those are legendary sword techniques that can even cut through the sky and space...

Thinking of this, Farfetch’d’s heart couldn’t help but be moved.

But... besides these moves, it might also forget the sword techniques it has already mastered.

Farfetch’d was very worried, a thrilling feeling of fear and desire spread throughout its body.

In its heart, a black and a white Farfetch’d appeared.

The ”Angel” Farfetch’d, wearing a halo and dressed in a white robe, worriedly said: ”Better not try, find another way to train!”

The ”Demon” Farfetch’d with sharp teeth spoke temptingly:

”You’ve been training for a long time, stuck at a bottleneck, unable to advance your abilities. If you miss this opportunity, there might never be another! These are sword skills that only Legendary Pokemon can master!”

Farfetch’d’s little heart pounded wildly.

Should it try? Maybe its luck is good, and it can learn Spacial Rend on the first try?

As long as it learns one divine sword technique, it will leave! Absolutely won’t greed for other skills!

Thinking of this, the angel Farfetch’d was knocked away by a leek from the demon Farfetch’d.

Farfetch’d’s heart had already made a decision: ”Gah!”

Naoki raised an eyebrow: ”Want to give it a try?”

Farfetch’d nodded.

Naoki didn’t say much more. He turned back to the living room, found a basket of berries, picked up a knife, cut the berries into pieces, and arranged them on a plate.

In just a few minutes, a Berry Platter was prepared.

Naoki looked down, and the information about the Berry Platter surfaced in his mind.

[Berry Platter (B): A delicacy made from various berries, blending the flavors of different berries, favored by some Pokemon.

Cooking Effect: Skill Refinement, after consumption, a move on the Pokemon will randomly change, with a certain chance to comprehend a powerful rare move.

Evaluation: Basic cuisine, easy to make, a nice choice for home and travel.]

Naoki carried the Berry Platter outside.

The Farfetch’d, with its leek in hand, was waiting under the eaves, casting a sharp gaze at the other Pokemon in the pasture.

”It’s ready! Want to give it a try?” Naoki placed the Berry Platter in front of Farfetch’d.

Farfetch’d looked down, staring at the simple, cut-up berries in front of it, hardly believing it.

Can these things really help it comprehend such powerful sword skills?

To verify its thoughts, Farfetch’d started to eat the Berry Platter.

When it consumed the last piece, its gaze suddenly turned sharp.

Here it comes!

Naoki held his breath, his eyes unwaveringly fixed on Farfetch’d.

Suddenly, Farfetch’d yawned and then lay on the grass and began to snore.

Naoki: ”?”

Is this... the Psychic Type move, Sleep?

He stepped forward and shook Farfetch’d; it was in a deep sleep.

After a while, it finally woke up, looking very refreshed.

Farfetch’d looked at Naoki.

Naoki: ”Congratulations, good start, you successfully comprehended Sleep on your first try.”

However, this wasn’t the answer Farfetch’d wanted.

With determination, it looked at Naoki: ”Gah!” (Again!)
