Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Yu Lan anxiously urged Zhao Rong, ”Zhao Rong, if that ordinary-looking screw in your hand is really a Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb, then you should hurry and throw it at the space fortress those Avatars built! If we keep talking and waiting here, the longer this drags on, the more likely those clever Avatars will discover what’s happening. They could neutralize the bomb before we even get to use it.”

Xue Lianmei also chimed in, ”Zhao Rong, how do you operate this bomb? Is it like a grenade? Do you just pull the pin and throw it at the target to make it explode on contact?”

Hearing Xue Lianmei, Zhao Rong shook his head and began to explain. ”Xue Lianmei, this Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb is much easier to use than a grenade.” He then offered an analogy to the group. ”With a grenade, you have to pull the pin, throw it, and wait for the fuse to detonate. But this bomb is fully voice-controlled. I don’t even have to throw it. As long as I command it with my voice, it will automatically complete the task I assign. It even has artificial intelligence that’s interconnected with my brain. This means even if I don’t speak, the bomb will do whatever I think.”

When Xue Lianmei heard how miraculous the bomb was, she immediately challenged Zhao Rong to a demonstration. ”Zhao Rong, that sounds too incredible to be true! I can’t believe that this bomb could destroy the Avatars’ space fortress based on your thoughts alone, without you saying a single word.”

Miss Lili was also skeptical. ”Zhao Rong, I doubt this ordinary-looking screw—what you call a Cosmic Black Hole Bomb—could possibly be that intelligent. Unless there’s a tiny, AI-powered robot inside, there’s no way it could be that smart.”

However, before the two women could finish, Zhao Rong began his demonstration. ”Miss Lili, Yu Lan, Xue Lianmei, watch closely. I won’t say a word. I’m just placing this screw—the Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb—right here. Now, I will use my thoughts to obliterate that formidable space fortress the Avatars built.”

With that, Zhao Rong stared at the bomb and commanded it with his mind.

Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb, go now. Blow up the space fortress base built by those Avatars. The faster, the better. And be quick and decisive—no dilly-dallying. These Avatars are from the future. If we give them any chance to counterattack, they will annihilate us.

The moment Zhao Rong finished his mental command, the screw—the Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb—shot into the air. It flew at incredible speed toward the impregnable space fortress the Avatars had built nearby.

When the three women, the assistant, and the primitives saw the bomb actually fly off toward the Avatars’ fortress under Zhao Rong’s mental control, they were all dumbfounded. They exclaimed in disbelief, ”I can’t believe it! Zhao Rong was telling the truth! The bomb really is flying toward the target just from his thoughts!”

Miss Lili, struck by an idea, said, ”Zhao Rong should take this bomb back to our world and patent it. I’m sure he’d make a fortune.”

Yu Lan, recalling footage of urban warfare she had seen, added her thoughts. ”If Zhao Rong brought this technology to Earth and sold it to arms companies, he’d definitely make a fortune. It would revolutionize future warfare.”

Xue Lianmei laughed and said, ”If people in our civilized world mastered this technology, armies wouldn’t need to carry rocket launchers, missile vehicles, or mortars anymore. We could launch missiles with our minds! Just think and fire, without any equipment. It would truly be a military revolution!”

The assistant, however, looked terrified. ”If you can fire missiles and shells with your thoughts in future wars, then you could fire bullets with your thoughts, too. If that happens, there would be even more school shootings in America for sure.”

Meanwhile, inside the space fortress, the Avatars who had been mocking Zhao Rong saw the screw flying toward their military base. They immediately panicked.

The Avatar King, who had just been mocking Zhao Rong, broke out in a cold sweat. ”This is bad!” he said in utter panic. ”Those humans really did bring a cosmic bomb! Its flight trajectory shows this isn’t an ordinary human weapon; it’s something from a super-civilization. I’m certain now that the screw is just a disguise. There has to be a cosmic bomb inside it!”

The Avatar general immediately activated emergency measures and launched the Iron Dome System to intercept the screw.

”I never saw this coming! Those humans are masters of bluffing!” he shouted. ”When I first saw him with that broken, rusty screw, I thought that’s all it was. Who knew it was a disguised Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb!

”We’re finished if that thing touches our fortress. All of us Avatars will be blown to ash in an instant! I’ve activated the Iron Dome System... I hope it works!”
