Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When the assistant saw that his attempts to sow discord failed to make Miss Lili and Yu Lan jealous over Zhao Rong, he decided to push further. He tried to stir up trouble between the two women, saying, ”Miss Lili, I know you’re the woman Brother Zhao Rong values most... but the woman he loves most is Xue Lianmei, and the woman who makes him happiest is you, Yu Lan...”

Then, the assistant turned to Yu Lan and said, ”Yu Lan, I think Brother Zhao Rong loves Miss Lili a little more than he loves you...”

The assistant snickered to himself. As long as I keep stirring the pot, the three of them will definitely start fighting over Brother Zhao Rong. And he’ll certainly suffer the consequences. After all, in this world, small-minded people and women are the hardest to deal with...

He continued to add fuel to the fire, saying, ”Miss Lili, Yu Lan, are you really just going to sit here and not think about what Brother Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei are doing in bed right now?”

The assistant’s relentless instigation finally got to Miss Lili. She looked at Yu Lan and said, ”Yu Lan, let’s go to that miniature Ritz-Carlton Hotel nearby and find Brother Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei. After all, when the three of us first started following Brother Zhao Rong, we promised to share him equally. We all agreed that no single person could monopolize him, and especially that no one could take his first time for herself. That’s absolutely forbidden! But now, Xue Lianmei has betrayed that promise. She went behind our backs—behind her sisters’ backs—to the Ritz-Carlton with Brother Zhao Rong. What she’s doing is just wrong...”

Hearing Lili’s words, Yu Lan flew into a rage. She slammed her palm on the table and shot to her feet. Looking toward the nearby Ritz-Carlton Hotel, she bristled with fury. ”No! We have to go stop Brother Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei from sharing a bed. Otherwise, our agreement will be worthless!”

With that, Lili and Yu Lan shot up from their seats, preparing to head to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel to catch them in the act.

When the assistant saw his meddling had finally convinced the two women to go after Zhao Rong, he snickered behind their backs. Brother Zhao Rong, you may be a master of martial arts, a good person, and popular with women, but don’t you forget that I, your assistant, can get jealous too. Just you wait. Lili and Yu Lan are coming to catch you in the act. They’re going to beat you to a pulp and give Xue Lianmei a vicious tongue-lashing...

However, before the assistant could finish laughing, he suddenly saw a man and a woman approaching from a short distance away. It was none other than Brother Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei.

When the assistant saw them approaching, he exclaimed in surprise, ”What the hell? Are you kidding me? Weren’t you two getting a room at the Ritz-Carlton? How could you be done so quickly? Don’t tell me Brother Zhao Rong is a three-second man?”

Watching Zhao Rong stagger as he walked, Lili was utterly astonished. ”Brother Zhao Rong, with a body as strong as yours, you should be able to last at least one or two hours in bed... But I just checked my watch, and you were only gone for a few minutes... That doesn’t seem like you at all...”

Yu Lan gasped, her eyes fixed on Xue Lianmei’s disheveled appearance. ”Xue Lianmei, I can’t believe Brother Zhao Rong could have satisfied you in such a short amount of time,” she said. ”That doesn’t seem long enough for what goes on between a man and a woman...”

Just as Lili, Yu Lan, and the assistant were reeling from shock, Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei walked over. ”We just went for a walk in the rear garden up ahead,” they explained. ”We didn’t expect the honey from the bees there would be so tasty...”

Xue Lianmei licked her lips, then touched a welt on her chest where a bee had stung her. ”If I’d known wild honey was so hard to collect, I wouldn’t have been so greedy,” she said awkwardly. ”Now look what happened. I got a nasty sting on my chest, and it really hurts...”

Zhao Rong then pulled a lunch box from his pocket, completely filled with wild honey. He offered it to Lili and Yu Lan. ”Ladies, have a taste. It’s wild honey Xue Lianmei and I collected. What do you think? How does it compare to the stuff you buy at the supermarket, full of artificial additives and adulterated with sugar?”

As Lili took the lunch box from Zhao Rong and tasted the wild honey, she looked at him and Xue Lianmei in surprise. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you mean you didn’t go to the Ritz-Carlton with Xue Lianmei?”

Yu Lan found the wild honey they had collected to be incredibly delicious. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she asked, ”did you two really just go to the rear garden to collect wild honey?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong smiled at Yu Lan and pointed to the mud on his shoes and the pollen dusting his clothes. ”Yu Lan, the rear garden is pretty muddy. Just look at all this mud on my shoes and the pollen on my clothes. You can tell I went to the garden, not to get a room at the Ritz-Carlton.”

Listening to Zhao Rong, Lili and Yu Lan studied him carefully. Then they tasted more of the authentic wild honey. They were immediately convinced. They believed his story that they had gone to the rear garden to collect honey and had not gotten a room at the Ritz-Carlton.

At once, the two women shot furious glares at the smug assistant standing behind them.

When the assistant heard Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei deny going to the Ritz-Carlton, he whipped a tracker out of his pocket. Pointing to the location display, he said, ”Miss Lili, Yu Lan, you don’t understand. The reason I suspected Brother Zhao Rong is because I accidentally left my tracker in his pocket. The trail of their movements to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel was clearly recorded right here. If you don’t believe me, you can check the raw data logs on this tracker. I guarantee you, Brother Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei really did get a room at the Ritz-Carlton. They didn’t go to the rear garden to collect honey. They’re only telling you that to cover their tracks and fool you!”
