Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Zhao Rong felt parched. ”Crap,” he said. ”How could I forget? Before swallowing the worming robot, I should have checked the instruction manual to see how to get it out of my stomach...”

Hearing this, Lili immediately took out the instruction manual and handed it to him. ”Zhao Rong, it’s not too late to read it now...”

”Alright,” Zhao Rong said as he took the manual. ”I’ll quickly see how to get this beetle out of my stomach...”

The beautiful Yu Lan stepped forward and said to Zhao Rong, somewhat embarrassed, ”Zhao Rong, getting the worming robot out of your stomach is actually really simple. I’ll buy you some laxatives. After you take them, just find a secluded spot to relieve yourself. Won’t that push the robot right out through your intestines?”

Hearing Yu Lan’s suggestion, cold sweat dripped from Zhao Rong’s forehead. He replied awkwardly, ”Yu Lan, that worming robot is bigger than an iPhone... You’re asking me to push that thing out through my intestines? Wouldn’t that give me an anal fissure?”

At that, Yu Lan chuckled in embarrassment. She quietly took a surgical device out of her pocket and handed it to Zhao Rong. ”Zhao Rong, with this gadget, you can dilate that area. That way, the worming robot can come out smoothly.”

Zhao Rong was reluctant to dilate that area, fearing he might develop a fistula.

Shaking his head, he read the manual. ”Geez, the manual actually says that before using the worming robot, you have to put a drop of Shrinking Solution on it! You’re only supposed to ingest it after it shrinks. Not only does it work better, but it’s also easier to pass through the intestines. Now I’m really screwed. I swallowed the robot without putting any of that so-called Shrinking Solution on it. There’s no way to get this thing out now!”

As Zhao Rong fretted, his assistant stepped forward with a terrible idea. ”Zhao Rong, I have an idea to get the worming robot out of your stomach, but I don’t know if you’re willing to try it...”

Intrigued, Zhao Rong immediately asked, ”Assistant, what’s your idea? Spit it out!”

The assistant smirked. ”Zhao Rong, we could hang you upside down. Then, you open your mouth wide, we punch you in the stomach, and that should squeeze the worming robot right out!”

Although it was a terrible idea, Zhao Rong decided to give it a try.

As soon as he was suspended upside down with vine ropes, the assistant threw a punch at his stomach. As his fist connected, the assistant snickered to himself. Zhao Rong, when I suggested this awful idea, I wasn’t really trying to get that robot out of your stomach. I’m just jealous of your abilities and tired of you bullying and mocking me. I wanted to use this chance to settle a personal score and let you have a taste of my power!

However, the assistant never expected his act would turn real. With a single punch, he actually knocked the troublesome worming robot right out of Zhao Rong’s stomach.

Zhao Rong spat the robot out, retched a couple of times, then had the others lower him from the vines. Standing on the ground, he felt utterly refreshed. ”Damn, I never expected this! You’re usually so pathetic, stupid, and have such a low IQ, but when it counts, your ideas actually work!”

When the assistant saw that his plan had backfired—not only failing to get revenge but actually helping Zhao Rong—he wanted to cry but had no tears. ”Zhao Rong, I... I didn’t expect my idea would actually help you.”

Zhao Rong stepped forward, shook the assistant’s hand, and said gratefully, ”Assistant, I really don’t know how to thank you. As they say, great kindness cannot be repaid with words. In the future, if you ever run into trouble and need my help, just say the word. I’ll never refuse, even if I have to climb a mountain of swords or plunge into a sea of flames for you!”

Hearing this, the assistant could only laugh awkwardly, shocked that his terrible idea had actually worked.

The three beautiful women—Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian—stepped forward one by one to thank him. ”Assistant, we’ve always looked down on you. We were wrong. We never thought that at such a critical moment, you’d be the one to save Zhao Rong’s life!”

Listening to them, the assistant again felt like crying but had no tears. Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, you don’t understand! When I came up with that idea, I was just trying to get back at Zhao Rong and settle a private grudge! I never actually thought it would get the robot out of him! The fact that I helped him was a complete and utter fluke!

Yu Lan stepped forward, took the assistant’s hand, and thanked him. ”Assistant, you’re amazing! You’re an incredibly important man on our team.”

The assistant nodded, grinning from ear to ear. ”Thank you for the praise, Yu Lan. I’ll work even harder.”

Yu Lan continued her praise, ”As the saying goes, ’Even the wisest can err, and even a fool may hit the mark.’ Assistant, I never thought someone as foolish as you could save Zhao Rong’s life at a time like this. From now on, I won’t look down on you anymore. I’ll always remember that you can be helpful and play an important role.”

The assistant laughed awkwardly. ”Thank you for the encouragement, Yu Lan. In the future, I’ll strive to play my supporting part even better and make the star of our team, Zhao Rong, shine even brighter.”

Before he could finish, Xuelian stepped forward, gave him a brief hug, and said gratefully, ”Assistant, I always felt you didn’t quite act like a man. But today, you proved you finally are one. I hope you’ll keep it up, reach even greater heights, and make all three of us look up to you.”
