Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Now that he was fully recovered, Zhao Rong immediately led everyone forward. As they walked, he said with lingering fear, ”It seems that in this prehistoric world, no matter what we encounter, we have to consult with these natives first. We can only act after getting their permission. Otherwise, we’re bound to run into disaster...”

Before Zhao Rong could finish, one of the natives suddenly pointed at a group of butterflies fluttering nearby and cried out in terror, ”This is bad! That’s a swarm of killer butterflies! We need to hide, quickly!”

Hearing the term ”killer butterflies,” Zhao Rong asked the natives in confusion, ”My friends, what in the world are ’killer butterflies’? Surely these beautiful, fragile-looking things can’t actually kill a person?”

But before he even finished his question, the natives had already vanished, completely hidden from sight.

One of them, peeking out from under a large leaf, pointed at the butterflies in the air and said, ”Zhao Rong, you may not know this, but with the slightest flutter of their wings, those killer butterflies release the poisonous pollen they’ve collected from toxic flowers. If that pollen touches our skin, it will immediately cause it to swell up and fester...”

Just then, the three women saw the toxic dust scattering from the butterflies’ wings. The colorful pollen began to form a cloud in the air, drifting straight toward them. Lili stared at the terrifying, multicolored haze and said in a panic, ”Zhao Rong, think of something, fast! That poisonous pollen is about to reach us!”

A frightened Yu Lan added, ”If that pollen lands on us, the consequences will be unimaginable...”

Xuelian, with a flash of inspiration, snapped two large leaves off a nearby tree. Fanning them furiously at the approaching cloud, she yelled, ”I may not have a fan, but I can use these leaves to blow you away! Stay away from me, you poisonous pollen! I’m already allergic to regular pollen as it is!”

The assistant, pale with fright, pleaded with Zhao Rong, ”Zhao Rong, since I just saved your life, you have to save me now! I don’t want that poison pollen to land on me and make my body swell and rot until I die!”

At that very moment, an idea struck Zhao Rong. If only I had a blower right now. Not only could I blow all this poisonous pollen far away, but I could probably kill those butterflies too.

With that thought, he pulled out his phone, opened the Paradise Shopping Cart app, and searched for a super blower. The moment he found one, he selected ”Buy.” The delivery speed from the Paradise Shopping Cart was as fast as ever. The instant Zhao Rong tapped the purchase button, the item dropped from the sky and landed right at his feet.

While opening the package, Zhao Rong smiled reassuringly at the three horrified women and the assistant, who was so scared he had wet himself. ”Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, Assistant, don’t worry. I just bought a high-tech gadget from the Paradise Shopping Cart that can blow all this pollen and these killer butterflies away.”

As he spoke, he pulled the blower out of the package.

When the three women and the assistant saw that Zhao Rong’s so-called high-tech gadget was a manual, hand-cranked blower, they were so shocked they nearly fell over.

Lili was highly skeptical. ”Zhao Rong, even if you wanted to use a powerful gust of wind to blow them away, couldn’t you have at least bought an automatic blower? Where are we going to get the strength to crank this thing hard enough to generate that kind of wind?”

Yu Lan examined the device’s construction. She felt it was far too simple to produce any significant force and shook her head disapprovingly. ”Zhao Rong, I don’t think the blower you bought can generate a strong enough wind, let alone blow away the pollen and butterflies. That’s just impossible.”

Xuelian tossed the two large leaves she had picked to Zhao Rong. ”Zhao Rong, instead of trying to get wind out of that hand-cranked thing, you’d be better off copying me. Just pick a couple of big leaves from a tree and use them as fans to blow everything away.”

However, before the women could say more, Zhao Rong cut them off with a confident smile. ”Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, Assistant, you are severely underestimating the power of this hand-cranked blower. Let me tell you, one gentle turn of this crank can generate a level-18 wind, comparable to a Texas tornado. It won’t just blow away the pollen and the killer butterflies; it could blow away half of the forest in front of us.”

When the three women and the assistant heard Zhao Rong’s outrageous claim that this manual blower could create a level-18 tornado and flatten half the forest, they were utterly unconvinced. ”You have to be kidding, Zhao Rong. A simple machine like that? Forget blowing away the forest; we’d kneel in admiration if it could blow away a single blade of grass.”

But before they could finish their sentence, Zhao Rong quietly placed his hand on the crank and gave it a single turn. Immediately, a furious, level-18 gale erupted, instantly transforming into a tornado that began to ravage the area.

When the three women and the assistant saw a tornado suddenly whip up in the middle of the forest, they cried out to Zhao Rong in terror, ”Zhao Rong, be careful! I don’t understand how a tornado could just appear in this blasted forest!”

Lili, her imagination running wild, said, ”There must be a dragon flying somewhere in the sky nearby! It created a cyclone, which is causing a tornado down here in the forest!”

Yu Lan suspected the tornado was deliberately created by the Avatars to attack them.

Xuelian, meanwhile, figured it must have blown all the way from Siberia.

The assistant, for his part, was sure it was simply a natural phenomenon.

The women came up with all sorts of theories for the tornado’s origin. Yet, they never once considered the one true possibility: that it had been generated by Zhao Rong and the simple-looking blower in his hands.
