Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

In an instant, the three women and the assistant stared in shock. Zhao Rong, who had just been feeble and weak, suddenly stood up straight, his chest puffed out. He was brimming with energy, his face glowing with vitality.

Lili sized Zhao Rong up and down, then touched his forehead and exclaimed joyfully, ”Brother Zhao Rong, so you weren’t internally injured at all! It didn’t affect your combat strength in the slightest! You were just pretending to be weak, putting on a performance to lure the ultimate boss from behind the scenes out into the open...”

A thrilled Yu Lan added, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you have no idea! When I saw you fighting those two Komodo dragon magical beasts and noticed how weak you seemed, I thought to myself, ’This isn’t the Zhao Rong I know. Why is he so feeble and vulnerable today?’ But now that you’re standing again with your combat strength restored, I realize just how intelligent you are. Your mind is astoundingly clever!”

Xuelian strode forward to face the head of the Magic Academy and his five lackeys. She mocked them, ”Principal, weren’t you just arrogantly proclaiming you were the smartest, with the highest IQ? Weren’t you planning to exploit Brother Zhao Rong’s weakness to defeat him? Well, do you understand now? Brother Zhao Rong is the true genius, and you’re just a fool. Now that he’s used his concealed strength to lure you out, just you wait. He’s going to knock you to the ground, leaving you scrambling for your teeth and wailing like a banshee!”

The assistant standing by felt as if he had been reborn. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you have no idea how scared I was when I saw you looking so weak. I was literally scared to death! I thought I was going to die right here. I never expected you were just acting the whole time, waiting to lure the villains out before revealing your true power. Brother Zhao Rong, you’re incredible! Your EQ and IQ are both top-notch.”

Seeing that Zhao Rong had merely been pretending to be weak and lacking in Inner Strength, the principal took a fearful step back. With a look of terror, he stammered, ”Zhao Rong, I had no idea you were such a master actor! Your performance was too convincing! You didn’t just fool me; you fooled my five subordinates and even the two Komodo dragon magical beasts I sent in first!”

When the five lackeys behind the principal saw Zhao Rong fully recovered and radiating overwhelming combat strength, they scrambled to hide behind him. ”Principal, what do we do?” one of them said, terrified. ”You brought us out here because you judged that Zhao Rong was finished—that his Inner Strength was depleted and he was so weak you could kill him with a flick of your finger! But you completely misjudged! He isn’t weak at all; his combat strength is off the charts! What are we supposed to do? Are we just going to stand here and wait for this young man to kill us?”

Another lackey, already preparing to flee, piped up, ”Principal, I followed you because I thought you were smart and capable, always able to seize the moment and defeat your opponents. But after seeing you face Zhao Rong, I realize you’re a complete idiot! Never mind combat strength—your IQ isn’t even in the same league as his! So, I’ve decided to abandon the path of darkness and follow Brother Zhao Rong instead. Sorry, Principal, I’m leaving.”

With that, the lackey scrambled over to Zhao Rong and kowtowed, begging to join his team. ”Big Brother, I want to forsake darkness for the light! Please let me follow you, join your team, and do odd jobs like your assistant! Is that okay?”

However, before the principal’s lackey could finish, Zhao Rong lashed out with a front kick, slamming his foot into the man’s face and knocking him unconscious. ”Damn it,” Zhao Rong spat. ”Trash like you thinks you can join my team? Dream on.”

The lackey struggled back to his feet and pleaded, ”Brother Zhao Rong, please, just let me join your team! I only followed the principal before because I was blind. Now my eyes are open, and I want to follow you!”

But before the lackey could finish his sentence, Yu Lan picked up a pebble from the ground and hurled it at his head. ”Damn it! Who do you think you are?” she shouted. ”Thinking you can join the principal’s team whenever you feel like it, then switch to Brother Zhao Rong’s team? Is this some kind of free-for-all? You dumbass! Let me teach you a lesson first!”

When the principal saw one of his five followers abandon him for Zhao Rong, he turned his rage on the remaining four. He furiously pulled a Wolf Fang Club from his robes and began wildly smashing the men behind him. ”Damn it!” he screamed. ”I took you four on because I valued your loyalty and devotion! I always treated you well, didn’t I? I often took you to bathhouses, barbershops, and even shady dance halls! But now, in the face of a powerful enemy, you betray me one by one! You’ve completely chilled my heart! You lot can only share the good times, but not the bad! Now, I’ll teach you a good lesson! We’ll see if you dare betray me again!”

The principal’s strikes were extremely vicious. With just a few swings of the Wolf Fang Club, he had bludgeoned his four followers to death. As Zhao Rong and his group watched the principal’s ruthless actions, they were utterly stunned.

Zhao Rong gasped, then glared at the principal with absolute hatred. ”Principal, even though your four lackeys betrayed you, you didn’t have to beat them to death with that Wolf Fang Club! You’re a truly vicious man.”

Lili swallowed hard, realizing this man was no ordinary villain. ”Head of the Magic Academy,” she said, ”when I first met you and saw that big beard, I knew you were a vicious man with a venomous heart. But I never thought you’d be so cruel even to your own men. You’re a complete psychopath!”

Yu Lan looked at the four lackeys, now just bloody messes on the ground. ”Head of the Magic Academy, you truly are a malevolent bastard,” she remarked. ”Since you’re this vicious, you must have killed many others before. So today, our Brother Zhao Rong will enact heaven’s justice and eliminate you, to prevent more innocent people from dying under your Wolf Fang Club!”

Xuelian also warned him, ”You may hold the title of Head of the Magic Academy, but in my eyes, you’re nothing but a thug. I’m going to pull out my phone right now, look up your file, and see if you’re a wanted fugitive.”
