Urban Martial Saint

Wanyan Hongsheng and the two others didn’t dare to linger here; they hurriedly turned to flee. However, they hadn’t run far when two people rushed towards them from the front. These two weren’t strangers; they were two of the four servants from the Knife Saint Sect.

The four servants occupied four positions, sealing off the main building. Just now, the people inside the main building had heard the commotion outside and all rushed out. Naturally, these four knew that the plan had been exposed and couldn’t wait there any longer, so they separately charged over to save the Young Master of the Knife Saint Sect.

These two ran at the front, so when they came over, they saw Wanyan Hongsheng and the two others.

Both parties had their own concerns; seeing masters approaching, neither dared to confront the other and instead passed by avoiding each other. However, the two from the Knife Saint Sect were clearly surprised when they saw the three from the Wanyan Family.

The Peak Masters of the Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance in this manor are all by the main building, so why are there three such powerful Peak Masters here? Given all this, the plan for the Young Master to assassinate Ye Qing seems unlikely to go smoothly. What exactly is the situation with the Young Master now?

Worried about the Young Master of the Knife Saint Sect, the two sped up, almost sprinting into Ye Qing’s courtyard. As they approached the courtyard from a distance, they heard Ye Qing shouting inside, which altered their expressions.

There are three Peak Masters here, and Ye Qing isn’t dead, which complicates things. Has their Young Master been ambushed?

No time to think, these two charged into the courtyard simultaneously.

”Young Master! Young Master!” one servant yelled aloud, only to receive a slap from another servant beside him after just a couple of calls.

”What’s up? Hurry...” The surprised servant turned his head, but his speech froze as he saw the Young Master of the Knife Saint Sect nailed to the wall!

The servant’s mouth instantly hung open, staring at the Young Master’s corpse on the wall, utterly stunned. Their Young Master had truly died here?

The outside was in an uproar, and shortly after, several Peak Masters rushed in too, but these were from the alliance. Rushing in, they were shouting about who was causing trouble here. When they saw the two servants from the Knife Saint Sect, they initially questioned why these two had entered. However, when they noticed the Young Master’s corpse on the wall, everyone became dumbfounded.

Although the alliance had been established and, during the day, everyone jointly expelled the Knife Saint Sect’s people, this didn’t mean they didn’t fear the Knife Saint Sect. Most of these Peak Masters knew very well the power of the Knife Saint Sect. If the Knife Saint Sect hadn’t suffered losses, that would be fine. But now the Young Master of the Knife Saint Sect had died here, things were different.

The Young Master of the Knife Saint Sect was the future of the sect and a very important figure. He died here, and the Knife Saint Sect will surely pursue the matter to the end. With the Knife Saint Sect’s strength, should they come at full force, the alliance couldn’t possibly withstand them!

Therefore, upon seeing the dead Young Master of the Knife Saint Sect, several Peak Masters began to feel intimidated, wanting to retreat. Yet, with more people coming continuously from behind, there was no escape!

The newcomers were also shouting initially. However, upon seeing the Young Master’s corpse, most fell silent. Only Shen Tianjun, Bloody Monk, and Helian Tiehua among them were unafraid of the Knife Saint Sect, rushing up to ask about Ye Qing’s status.

Shortly after, the other two servants from the Knife Saint Sect also arrived. Seeing the Young Master’s corpse, their expressions matched those of the previous two servants. After being stunned for a while, the leading servant suddenly raised his head and glared at Ye Qing, gritting his teeth and roaring angrily, ”Ye Qing, I’ll kill you!”

The servant roared while lunging at Ye Qing, clearly having identified him as the murderer of the Young Master.

The surrounding area had numerous alliance masters, but seeing the Knife Saint Sect servant lunging at Ye Qing, they all retreated in unison, unwilling to become enemies with the Knife Saint Sect’s men.

Fortunately, Ye Qing still had people by his side. Seeing the servant lunge, Bloody Monk coldly shouted and went straight ahead to stop the servant.

”Bloody Monk, how dare you stop me!” the servant bellowed in rage.

”What am I afraid of?” Bloody Monk replied arrogantly. He was inherently fearless, how could he be scared by a few words from a servant? Although the Young Master of Knife Saint Sect died here, to him, it was nothing.

”Bloody Monk, your strength is great; I might not be your opponent. You have many people; we four servants aren’t enough for you to kill, but so what!” The servant shouted defiantly, ”The Young Master is dead! The Young Master is dead! Knife Saint Sect will certainly not let anyone here go! When the Sect Leader emerges, no matter how powerful you are, you cannot block a single strike from him. You will all join the Young Master in the grave!”

”Ha, that’s ridiculous!” Bloody Monk laughed coldly, ”If the Young Master of Knife Saint Sect had such power, he wouldn’t have cowered for so many years without daring to emerge. Cut the nonsense; if you want to kill Ye Qing, first get past me!”

As Bloody Monk spoke, the power in his hands suddenly increased a bit, forcing the servant into a disadvantaged position. The servant was strong enough, but he was facing Bloody Monk. Furthermore, after witnessing the power of the Buddha’s Relic this morning, Bloody Monk had gained some insights and his strength increased, making this servant even less of a match!

Seeing himself outmatched, the servant turned angrily and shouted, ”What are you three standing there for? Come on, are you afraid of dying?”

The three servants snapped back to reality upon hearing his words and simultaneously lunged towards Ye Qing.

”Come at me!” Bloody Monk roared and unleashed his full strength, seeming ready to take on all four by himself.

”Bloody Monk, you’re courting death!” the leading servant yelled angrily, ”Let’s join forces and kill him first!”

The three behind him rushed in as well, intending for the four to team up against Bloody Monk first. Facing these four peak masters, Bloody Monk showed no fear; his gaze was even more fervent, truly prepared to fight head-on.

Just as the five were about to clash, three people rushed out from behind, namely Shen Tianjun, Helian Tiehua, and Wolf Monk, each blocking one servant, thus preventing the four servants from joining forces against Bloody Monk.

In such circumstances, the leading servant was even more furious, shouting, ”Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance, Shen Family Manor, Sha Men, hahaha, all of you come up! Do you think Knife Saint Sect is afraid of you? Ha, so many spectators, if you have the guts, join in! Even if we die here today, you won’t get away easily. When the Sect Leader emerges, he will wipe out all of you, none will survive, hahaha...”

The surrounding crowd exchanged looks; the people of Knife Saint Sect had gone mad. Given this situation, they truly didn’t want to linger. But the problem was, the alliance had just been formed; leaving now, would they have any face left to walk in the outside world?

Everyone hesitated, seeking a way to escape this matter. Just then, Ye Qing suddenly stepped out from the crowd and shouted, ”Blood Robe Sect Leader, Uncle Shen, General Helian, Senior Wolf Monk, don’t stop the people of Knife Saint Sect. They’re used to being unreasonable and shameless; since they can wantonly and shamelessly try to kill Mr. Ye, how can Mr. Ye let you suffer retaliation from Knife Saint Sect for upholding justice?”

Hearing these words, everyone was somewhat stunned and looked at Ye Qing, unsure what he meant.

”Ye, you still have the cheek to speak!” the leading servant shouted angrily, ”You killed our Young Master; we’re killing you to avenge him; it’s only right! What do you mean unreasonable and shameless? Ye, don’t think with these people shielding you, you can talk nonsense. I’m telling you, when our Sect Leader emerges, he won’t just kill you, but your whole family and everyone related to you, to avenge our Young Master!”

Ye Qing gritted his teeth and said in a deep voice, ”You keep saying you want to avenge your Young Master, but do you even know who really killed your Young Master?”

”Ah?” The crowd exclaimed, realizing the crucial point. Indeed, was it Ye Qing who killed the Young Master of Knife Saint Sect? It was still unknown; how could everyone determine Ye Qing’s life or death?

Because they feared Knife Saint Sect too much, upon seeing the Young Master dead here, their first thought was to sever ties, not thinking further. Now hearing Ye Qing’s words, they realized, without investigating the Young Master’s cause of death, nothing was certain!

The leading servant paused for a moment, the chaos they were embroiled in slowly ceased. The servant looked at the Young Master’s body against the wall, then at Ye Qing, and said in a deep voice, ”The Young Master died in your courtyard; if it’s not you who killed him, then who could it be?”

”Hahaha...” Ye Qing laughed up at the sky and said, ”Truly Knife Saint Sect, so unreasonable, yet all the same. You can say such things; Mr. Ye truly admires you. Since you can be unreasonable, alright, Mr. Ye will gamble with this life. Come, today before all heroes under the heavens, with my blood, I’ll show how shameless and disgraceful Knife Saint Sect truly is!”
