Urban Martial Saint

Hearing the Young Master’s words, Number Nine was once again astonished and said, ”Sealing off so many people, can this... can this be done?”

”Why can’t it be done?” The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect proudly said, ”Sealing off other things might not be easy, but sealing off sound is the easiest of all. Sound itself is just the impact of a stream of air. You only need to use powerful Inner Strength to completely seal the surrounding airflow, and naturally, the sound won’t get in or out!”

”I see!” Number Nine suddenly understood and excitedly said again, ”So, this time, isn’t Ye Qing as good as dead?”

”Hahaha...” The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect looked up and laughed wildly, saying, ”By then, even if I break into the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance, kill Ye Qing, and take Shen Qingyi, no one will know. This is killing two birds with one stone!”

Number Nine quickly said, ”The Young Master indeed has a good plan. Killing Ye Qing will completely foil the alliance’s plan. And if Shen Qingyi, the number one beauty of the Southern Six Provinces, is brought back, the Young Master can enjoy her beauty!”

”Hahaha...” The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect got even more excited by Number Nine’s words and was laughing wildly when he suddenly flung his hand, dragging a woman from beside the sofa into his presence, and then slapped her chest. The woman fell to the ground, blood oozed from her mouth, but she couldn’t make a sound and died right there.

The women and Number Nine, seeing the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect laughing with excitement, thought that the Young Master was finally happy. They even felt relieved, thinking their lives were spared. But who could have thought during the Young Master’s laughter, he suddenly killed someone. And it was a murder without any warning, which immediately shocked everyone.

Number Nine was stunned for a while, staring at the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect in disbelief, not understanding why he suddenly decided to kill.

The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect remained calm, glanced at Number Nine, and coldly said, ”Shen Qingyi is about to come over, so why keep these filthy women? Kill them all, so they won’t bother me!”

”Ah?” Number Nine was stunned; this Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect was truly heartless. These women, after all, had accompanied him for a whole day. Now, since he no longer needed them, he decided to kill them - isn’t this too ruthless?

A few women were trembling with fear, and one of them quickly knelt on the ground, crying and pleading, ”Big... Brother, don’t kill me, I... I can serve you like a slave, I’ll do anything, please, don’t... don’t kill me...”

The other women saw one of them begging for mercy and also knelt down, crying and pleading.

The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect was unmoved, glanced at Number Nine, and coldly said, ”What, didn’t you understand what I said?”

Number Nine shivered, understanding that if he didn’t kill these women, he might be the next to die. So, without hesitation, he walked over, unsheathed a dagger from his waist, and killed all the pleading women, leaving none alive.

Looking at the bodies inside the room, the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect nodded in satisfaction and said, ”Clean up the bodies and then have someone keep a close watch on Shenchuan City. Tomorrow night, I want to personally take Ye Qing’s life!”

Number Nine looked at the bodies in the room, still maintaining a stoic face but with a hint of helplessness and sorrow in his eyes. Although he worked for the Sword Saint Sect, he retained a bit of humanity, unable to be as inhumane as the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect.

In another corner of Shenchuan City, three men were huddled together. These three were none other than Wanyan Hongsheng, Old Sixth Wan Yan, and Executioner Scholar.

Wanyan Hongsheng nearly died in the manor of the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance, but was saved by someone, and he barely survived. However, he still hadn’t figured out who his savior was. According to logic, it should have been someone from the Wanyan Family who saved him. But this person didn’t reveal their identity, which made him curious.

However, since the other person didn’t want to reveal their identity, he didn’t ask further, planning to find out from his Second Brother when he got back. But now, the most crucial thing was the situation in Shenchuan City. He had already received news about the union of those returning from Chatiang Peak with the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance. Moreover, the most critical point was that these people not only allied with those from the Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance, but were also clearly opposing the Wanyan Family, which was rather troublesome.

The Wanyan Family, with considerable accumulated strength, wouldn’t have a problem dealing with this alliance. However, the Wanyan Family’s motto has always been to preserve strength whenever possible. If this alliance consumed the family’s strength, how could they compete for the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates in the future? So, in the current scenario, this alliance posed a significant headache for them.

Most of those who had rallied to the Wanyan Family earlier and were at the Seven Rudders today were identified by Fang Tianliang and didn’t escape from the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance. After escaping alone, Wanyan Hongsheng could only contact Old Sixth Wan Yan and Executioner Scholar.

The three gathered together to discuss how to deal with this alliance. Of course, they thought about killing Ye Qing, which would disband the alliance. But the key problem was, how to kill Ye Qing?

After the day’s ordeal, Wanyan Hongsheng was no longer as confident as before. Almost losing his life that day made him more cautious and he dared not be careless. If it were before, he might have dared to sneak into the Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance to kill Ye Qing. But now, he no longer had that courage. If surrounded again, escaping from the Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance would be impossible.

So, after discussing together, the three could not come up with any solution. No one knew how to deal with Ye Qing.

Executioner Scholar sat to the side, watching Wanyan Hongsheng and Old Sixth Wan Yan’s distressed faces, inwardly laughing. After overhearing the Wanyan Family’s conversations, he had no goodwill towards them. He wished he could ruin all of the Wanyan Family’s plans and had no intention of helping them come up with solutions.

However, in that moment, Executioner Scholar suddenly had an idea. He turned to Wanyan Hongsheng and lowly said, ”Mr. Wan Yan, actually, we don’t need to worry about killing Ye Qing. Even if we don’t act, someone else will help us kill Ye Qing!”

”Oh? What do you mean?” Wanyan Hongsheng looked at Executioner Scholar in surprise.

”The Sword Saint Sect!” Executioner Scholar said softly, ”Mr. Wan Yan, don’t forget, the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect was also humiliated at the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance today. Coupled with the previous incident with Shen Qingyi, the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect should hate Ye Qing more than we do. Even if we don’t act, I reckon this Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect will personally go kill Ye Qing!”

Old Sixth Wan Yan’s eyes lit up and he excitedly said, ”Yes, this Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect acts extremely recklessly and is arrogant. Having suffered such a huge loss at the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance today, how could he possibly let it slide? He definitely will go and kill Ye Qing!”

A gleam of brilliance flashed through Wanyan Hongsheng’s eyes. Executioner Scholar’s suggestion was indeed good. They wouldn’t have to deal with Ye Qing themselves and wouldn’t need to take any risks. However, he was still contemplating another matter. If the Sword Saint Sect killed Ye Qing, that would be ideal. However, there were many secrets about Ye Qing, concerning the Buddha’s Relic and the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. If the Sword Saint Sect took those things, what then?

Seeing that Wanyan Hongsheng wasn’t speaking, Old Sixth Wan Yan asked in surprise, ”Third Brother, what do you think? I think this solution is great; we can just sit back and watch the tigers fight!”

”This method is good, but if the Sword Saint Sect kills Ye Qing, won’t the things Ye Qing has also fall into their hands?” Wanyan Hongsheng said in a deep voice, ”The things Ye Qing possesses are of great significance. If those fall into the hands of the Sword Saint Sect, their power will surely increase significantly. In that case, it would be even more detrimental to us!”

”This...” Old Sixth Wan Yan was also somewhat distressed; he looked at Executioner Scholar and softly said, ”This indeed is a problem. Does this mean we not only shouldn’t help the Sword Saint Sect kill Ye Qing but also need to protect Ye Qing from them? ”

”Protect him? That’s not necessary, is it?” Executioner Scholar took a deep breath and said, ”Or, we could follow behind these Sword Saint Sect people. After they kill Ye Qing, we can then seize the things Ye Qing has; that would be the most suitable method!”

”Seize the things? Isn’t that inappropriate?” Old Sixth Wan Yan shook his head, saying, ”The Sword Saint Sect is powerful; we can’t casually provoke them. Besides, even if we wanted to seize the things, we might not be able to do it. The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect himself is a Peak Master, and those four servants, one is mightier than the other. We’re only three people; we couldn’t possibly rival them, could we?”

”Seizing the things doesn’t necessarily mean a direct confrontation.” Executioner Scholar said, ”Besides, you underestimate the Sword Saint Sect. If they really decide to go kill someone, those four servants absolutely won’t act together with the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect. So, when it comes to killing Ye Qing, it will certainly be the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect alone. We just need one person to hold him off while the other two grab the items. Isn’t that simple?”

Hearing Executioner Scholar’s words, Wanyan Hongsheng and Old Sixth Wan Yan’s eyes both lit up, but more than that, they were astonished.

”How do you know those four servants won’t act together with the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect?” Old Sixth Wan Yan asked in surprise.
