Urban Martial Saint

The speed of the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect was indeed incredibly fast; Ye Qing didn’t even see how he lunged over, and the dagger in his hand was already at Ye Qing’s neck.

”Ye, now you know the gap between you and me, right!” The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect held the dagger against Ye Qing’s neck and sneered, ”I just need to move my hand slightly, and your life will be over. How about it, are you scared?”

Ye Qing didn’t speak. Instead, taking advantage of the Young Master’s complacency, he suddenly withdrew the scabbard in his hand and stabbed straight at the Young Master.

The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect didn’t expect that Ye Qing, with a dagger at his neck, would still dare to strike.

”Courting death!” The Young Master shouted coldly, and without another word, immediately slashed down with his dagger, while stepping back, preparing to kill Ye Qing and simultaneously avoid Ye Qing’s attack.

But in fact, when his dagger pierced Ye Qing’s neck, he only then realized that his famed instrument couldn’t even pierce Ye Qing’s skin. This situation filled the Young Master with shock. This was a famed instrument that even he couldn’t withstand, yet it couldn’t harm Ye Qing in the slightest? How was this possible?

Although shocked, the Young Master’s speed was still very fast. Missing his strike, he immediately stepped back, avoiding the scabbard in Ye Qing’s hand. After retreating a couple of steps, he stared fixedly at Ye Qing and said in a deep voice, ”Ye Qing, aren’t you supposed to be someone who can’t fight?”

Ye Qing didn’t speak at all, still wielding the scabbard and chasing after the Young Master. The Young Master’s expression changed again. He took a deep breath, suddenly turned around, and ran. With a cold snort, he said, ”Ye Qing, it seems I underestimated you before. You have quite a few hidden secrets, don’t you? Hmph, it seems I need to call on the experts of the Sword Saint Sect to deal with you!”

Saying this, the Young Master turned to run. Seeing this situation, Ye Qing couldn’t help but become greatly anxious. If the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect managed to escape, wouldn’t that be a disaster? Not only would the plan fail, but the secrets on him might also be discovered by others. Moreover, the most crucial thing is that it could possibly attract the experts from the Sword Saint Sect, which would be the most dangerous situation.

However, Ye Qing now had strength and a powerful body, but his speed couldn’t keep up. It was simply impossible to catch up with the Young Master. Seeing him running away, Ye Qing let out a shout, fiercely throwing the scabbard in his hand, preparing for a final attempt to see if he could knock the Young Master down.

”Hmph!” The Young Master snorted coldly, lightly tapping the ground with his toes, effortlessly leaping onto the wall behind. Meanwhile, Ye Qing’s scabbard was still five or six meters away from him. At this speed, it was impossible to catch up to him, making Ye Qing’s heart sink.

If the Young Master escaped, wouldn’t that be like releasing a tiger back into the wild? Moreover, if the Sword Saint Sect learned about Ye Qing’s attempt to kill him, what good days would Ye Qing have in the future?

Just when Ye Qing was extremely worried, the situation suddenly changed. Old Chen, who had been standing by the pavilion looking dumbfounded, suddenly seemed to react, letting out a cry of terror, throwing the chicken leg in his hand, and turned to run inside, seemingly frightened by the Young Master.

And the chicken leg Old Chen threw happened to hit the Young Master’s leg just by chance. The Young Master hit by the chicken leg seemed to lose balance, directly falling off the wall. And just then, Ye Qing’s thrown scabbard flew over, directly aiming for the Young Master’s chest.

”Ah!” The Young Master cried out in pain, completely unable to avoid it. He instinctively used the dagger in his hand to defend, but when the dagger clashed with the scabbard, it was instantly shattered. After all, the scabbard of the Ancestor of Miao Dao was much stronger than ordinary famed instruments.

Moreover, Ye Qing’s right arm’s sovereign power was also very formidable. The scabbard shattered the dagger, and its speed barely slowed, still shooting forward. Under the Young Master’s incredulous expression, it plunged directly into his heart. Despite this, the speed of the scabbard didn’t decrease, carrying the Young Master backward, and crashed into the wall behind.

The scabbard drove straight into the wall, and the Young Master hung upon it. He struggled to point his finger at Ye Qing, opened his mouth, but ultimately not a word came out, and slowly lowered his head.

The scene left Ye Qing dumbfounded. He never imagined such a thing would happen. The Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect ended up dying because of a chicken leg thrown by Old Chen; how ridiculous is that?

Nevertheless, the Young Master indeed died here, that was undoubtedly true. Regardless of how he died, at least his death here meant that Ye Qing’s plan was successful.

Ye Qing walked up to the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect, looked at the position where the scabbard was inserted, and confirmed that this Young Master was truly dead. Because the scabbard had already been stabbed into his heart, how could this Young Master not be dead?

With a long sigh of relief, Ye Qing fished out a jade token from his body and casually tossed it on the ground. Then, he opened his mouth and shouted, ”Someone! Someone!”

As Ye Qing was shouting, the three of Wanyan Hongsheng happened to arrive here as well. Hearing Ye Qing’s voice, Wanyan Hongsheng frowned and muttered, ”What’s with this Young Master of Sword Saint Sect, taking so long to kill Ye Qing, and instead allowing him to start shouting?”

To more conveniently reap the rewards after others’ efforts, the three of Wanyan Hongsheng had waited outside for a while before coming in, intending to directly snatch items from the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect. As a result, it was this wait outside that caused them to miss Ye Qing killing the Young Master.

Hearing Ye Qing’s shouting, Executioner Scholar also grew anxious. If Ye Qing started to cause a fuss, today’s plan to kill the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect would be almost impossible to accomplish.

”What do we do now?” Old Sixth Wan Yan asked nervously, constantly turning his head to look around, fearing that the people in the manor would be alerted by Ye Qing. He clearly remembered yesterday’s incident when Wanyan Hongsheng almost died in this manor, and he didn’t want to be surrounded by so many peak masters.

”Let’s go take a look first!” Wanyan Hongsheng commanded softly, though he was more frightened than Old Sixth Wan Yan. However, at this moment, they had to check it out regardless.

The three of them dashed rapidly through Ye Qing’s courtyard, and before landing, they could already see from afar the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect hanging on the wall.

”Who... who is that?” Wanyan Hongsheng widened his eyes, thinking he might be seeing things.

”Isn’t that... the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect?” Old Sixth Wan Yan’s eyes also widened.

Executioner Scholar was even more stunned. Judging by the look of the Young Master, he should be dead. But how could this be? It wasn’t Ye Qing who died, but the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect instead?

The three of them exchanged bewildered glances, this scene had them thoroughly astonished. Who would’ve thought that the one to die here would be the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect? How did the Young Master meet his end? The group was tailing the Young Master continuously, albeit losing sight for a few minutes, but who could kill the Young Master in such a short span?

The Young Master of Sword Saint Sect had the strength of a peak master. To kill him within mere minutes, only a beyond peerless master could achieve it. Otherwise, even someone as skilled as Bloody Monk or Shen Tianjun couldn’t kill him so quickly even if they joined forces.

Judging from the situation, the only one capable of killing the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect in such a short time left would be Fu Qingping. However, wasn’t Fu Qingping over at the main building? So many masters were with him, unless he could be in two places at once, otherwise, it was simply impossible for him to come here and slay the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect!

The trio was filled with doubts and shock and as they pondered, Ye Qing shouted several more times. Although his voice couldn’t penetrate the barrier formation set up by the four servants of Sword Saint Sect, it was enough to alert others in the manor. With a burst of noise, many people were running over from the distance.

Seeing the situation, Old Sixth Wan Yan immediately turned to Wanyan Hongsheng and anxiously asked, ”Third Brother, what do we do now? The Young Master of Sword Saint Sect is dead, Ye Qing is alive, do we still grab those things?”

Wanyan Hongsheng himself was a bit stunned, this scenario was something they hadn’t anticipated at all. He was indeed confused about what to do now.

Just then, an angry shout suddenly echoed from the main building. This change caused the trio’s expressions to shift; it seemed like the people in the main building had received wind of this commotion. This time, they absolutely couldn’t linger here any longer; if those peak masters rushed out, they would be doomed. After all, the premise of the alliance was to deal with their Wanyan Family!

In this situation, Wanyan Hongsheng dared not hesitate any longer and immediately gestured for them to run, ”Run, leave him. The death of the Young Master of Sword Saint Sect here spells enough troubles for them. Even if Ye Qing is alive, the people of Sword Saint Sect would definitely not spare him. Let’s not involve ourselves further and wait for them to fight amongst themselves!”
