The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

This slap not only caught Cheng Jiatong off guard, but also made Shu Yu and Cheng Xian dumbfounded. They quickly looked up at Old Master Cheng.

Cheng Wenbao hurried in front of Old Master Cheng, ”Father, Fourth Sister she...”

”You shut up. She became this lawless because of your spoiling. Now, you move aside, I’ll deal with you later.”

Cheng Xian quietly introduced to Shu Yu, ”This is Old Master Cheng.”

Old Master Cheng pushed Cheng Wenbao aside, took a deep breath, and stepped forward to salute Shu Yu, ”I am Cheng Feng, I have met Wen’an County Lord.”

Shu Yu nodded, ”Old Master Cheng.”

”I have failed in my duty to discipline, allowing my unworthy children to offend the County Lord. I am utterly guilty. Please rest assured, County Lord, I will definitely punish the two of them properly to give you an explanation.”

Though he spoke very sincerely, Shu Yu couldn’t help but frown.

She was silent for a moment, ”What kind of explanation does Old Master Cheng want to give?”

”I am deeply ashamed, for I have nothing else to offer. But the County Lord was frightened, and compensation is indeed warranted. This is a Ganoderma I have treasured for many years, just for calming the County Lord’s shock.”

While Cheng Feng spoke, the Cheng Family’s butler had hurriedly stepped forward, holding a box and presenting it.

Shu Yu glanced at the Ganoderma in the box, which seemed to be in good condition.

As compensation, it’s only right to accept it, and this Ganoderma was not to be taken for granted, so she accepted it gladly.

As for Cheng Jiatong... Shu Yu wanted to give her some lessons. However, the slap Cheng Feng just gave was indeed enough for her to bear. At this moment, looking over, half of her face was already swollen like a bun, more severe than any hit she had landed.

After receiving two slaps and compensating with a Ganoderma, Old Master Cheng’s attitude satisfied Shu Yu, and there was nothing more to be done about it.

Shu Yu nodded, signaling for Ying Xi to store the Ganoderma.

Just when Shu Yu thought that Old Master Cheng’s decisive slap accompanied with the Ganoderma gift was meant to offset Cheng Jiatong’s wrongs.

Unexpectedly, Old Master Cheng continued, ”The Ganoderma is meant to soothe the County Lord; as for my daughter...”

He turned his head, looking at Cheng Jiatong, still stunned and sitting on the ground, and spoke in a chilly tone, ”My daughter’s incorrigible behavior results from our excessive pampering over the years. Fortunately, she is still young and can be corrected. I implore the County Lord to grant her another chance; I will ensure proper discipline.”

Shu Yu frowned, ”Old Master Cheng means...”

”She has never suffered hardships, which made her so arrogant and dismissive of others. In that case, it might be good for her to experience hardship. In a few days, I will send her out of the city to a place of poverty for her to be honed.”

Everyone was stunned upon hearing this, and the awakened Cheng Jiatong looked at her father incredulously.

”Father, Father, you can’t do this. I didn’t do anything; it was Biyan acting on her own. I don’t want to leave, Father.”

”Shut up, you’re still arguing, refusing to repent even now.”

Cheng Wenbao urgently stepped forward, ”Father, Fourth Sister knows she’s wrong. She will definitely change for the better, there’s no need to send her away to suffer.”

”You have the nerve to plead for her. Do you think you’re not involved? You will accompany your Fourth Sister out of the city. As for where...” Cheng Feng frowned, seemingly contemplating, then upon seeing Cheng Xian, immediately said, ”Go to the southwest, both of you to the southwest.”
