The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 450: Chapter 449: Long-Term Cooperation

Huang Yanquan didn’t say anything upon hearing this, instead looking at Shao Hui and said, ”Director Shao, I have some matters to discuss with Boss Ding, you should head back first.”

Upon hearing this, Shao Hui was a bit stunned, this wasn’t mentioned before coming here, but considering Huang Yanquan insisted on coming with him and hadn’t spoken much earlier, it seemed there were indeed private matters to discuss with Ding Yuejun, so naturally he stood up and said, ”Alright, I’ll head back first, Boss Ding, you and Mr. Huang have a good chat.” With those words, he left directly.

Meanwhile, Ding Yuejun looked at Huang Yanquan with some confusion and asked, ”Mr. Huang, what do you want to discuss with me?”

Huang Yanquan didn’t mention any specific matters but poured a cup of tea for Ding Yuejun, saying, ”Try it, this is the tea I specially brought from Hong Kong, I wonder if you would like it.”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yuejun drank a sip somewhat skeptically, then nodded and said, ”It’s very nice.”

Actually, she doesn’t have much expertise in tea tasting, but the tea introduced by Huang Yanquan has a very sweet aftertaste, even someone who usually doesn’t enjoy tea like her finds it quite good.

Seeing that Ding Yuejun genuinely liked the tea, Huang Yanquan couldn’t help but smile and said, ”It seems this Old Shoumei suits your taste, next time I’ll bring you some more.”

Ding Yuejun hurriedly waved her hand and said, ”No need, I generally don’t drink much tea.”

”This white tea is good for your health, so you can drink a little every day, don’t refuse it anymore.”

Seeing Huang Yanquan’s enthusiasm, Ding Yuejun didn’t say more, just nodded and said, ”Alright, thank you.”

”Boss Ding, you’re too polite.”

Huang Yanquan said with a smile, then stood up and said, ”Boss Ding, let’s talk while walking, taking a walk after a meal helps with digestion.”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yuejun stood up and slowly walked outside with Huang Yanquan.

”Boss Ding, actually I’m here today to discuss long-term cooperation.”

Upon hearing about work, Ding Yuejun gradually became serious, ”How does Mr. Huang plan to cooperate?”

”In the future, most of my time will be spent in mainland China, and I will also be investing long-term in the film and television industry, so we’ll certainly have much cooperation, I hope that every TV drama I invest in, you can cooperate with me.”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yuejun couldn’t help but laugh.

”Thank you so much, Mr. Huang, but...” At the end of her words, she couldn’t help but say, ”If you invest in modern dramas, then my attire might not be quite suitable.” After all, their clothing store focuses on ancient-style clothes, she may not be able to handle modern outfits.

Huang Yanquan directly laughed upon hearing this.

”In that case, I should choose scripts carefully, and invest more in ancient dramas.”

Ding Yuejun quickly waved her hand and said, ”Mr. Huang, the key to investment is making money, you shouldn’t choose only ancient dramas because of clothing issues, if there’s a good modern drama, it’s also very worth investing in.”

Seeing Ding Yuejun say this, the smile in Huang Yanquan’s eyes deepened, ”Looks like Boss Ding is truly considerate, even taking this into account.”

”Everyone in business hopes to make money, no one sets out to lose money, isn’t that right?”

Huang Yanquan nodded brightly, discussing cooperation matters with Ding Yuejun as they walked.

They walked and walked until reaching a construction site, it was then that Huang Yanquan stopped and pointed over there, saying, ”Boss, that’s the hotel I’m currently building, once it’s completed, you’ll be the first to be invited to stay.”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yuejun was genuinely surprised, ”Mr. Huang, you’re also investing in hotels?”

Huang Yanquan nodded and said, ”Yes, I’ve been on business trips in Shangjing lately and always have to stay in other hotels, it’s somewhat uncomfortable, so I decided to build my own hotel here in Shangjing, then when I come here, I can stay directly.”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yuejun was speechless for a while, this was the first time she heard someone finding it inconvenient to stay in hotels to the point of building one for themselves, truly wealthy, it seems Huang Yanquan is definitely among the top businessmen in Hong Kong.

They continued walking slowly, bringing up other topics.

As they walked, Ding Yuejun started feeling something was amiss, wasn’t the plan to discuss cooperation, the cooperation discussions were finished, yet Huang Yanquan didn’t mention heading back, continuously chatting enthusiastically about life matters.

Seeing the increasingly cold weather today, Ding Yuejun felt it’s better to return early, saying to Huang Yanquan, ”Mr. Huang, maybe we should head back, it’s getting late and quite chilly.”

Upon hearing this, Huang Yanquan nodded and then casually removed his jacket, draping it over Ding Yuejun.

Feeling the sudden warmth on her body, Ding Yuejun was startled, her face flushed, although she’s not young, it’s the first time a man has acted so intimately, she quickly tried to remove the jacket.

But Huang Yanquan pressed on her shoulder and said, ”Boss Ding, my oversight, taking you for a walk outside late at night, so wear the jacket, I’m not cold.”

Ding Yuejun still felt uncomfortable trying to return the jacket to Huang Yanquan.

Seeing her awkwardness, Huang Yanquan quickened his pace saying, ”Boss Ding, let’s walk quickly, when we reach the place you can return my jacket, is that alright?”

Seeing Huang Yanquan’s straightforward demeanor, Ding Yuejun felt somewhat embarrassed.

Perhaps she overthinking it, maybe this is just a habit for Huang Yanquan, besides, she’s older than him, in her view, he’s akin to a junior, so she didn’t dwell further, following him back to Shangjing Restaurant.

Since Huang Yanquan drove here, he directly offered Ding Yuejun a ride home.

Ding Yuejun quickly returned the jacket to him saying, ”Mr. Huang, no need, I can manage on my own.”

”It’s not proper to let a beautiful lady go home alone at night, alright Boss Ding, let’s get in the car.” He said opening the car door for her.

Seeing this, Ding Yuejun could only get in.

After dropping her off at home, Huang Yanquan directly said, ”Boss Ding, goodbye, I’ll come find you tomorrow and we’ll sign the agreement together.”

Although their earlier cooperation discussion was delightful, signing the agreement is the safest.

Upon hearing this, Ding Yuejun naturally smiled and nodded, saying, ”Alright Mr. Huang, see you tomorrow.”

After Huang Yanquan drove away, Ding Yuejun went inside.

Yiyi saw her mother return, couldn’t help but ask, ”Mom, why are you late again today, grandpa will probably scold you.”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yuejun promptly said, ”Today I discussed some cooperation matters with Mr. Huang, so I’m a bit late.”
