The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 443: Chapter 442: Give Them Something to Do

Upon hearing Tao Cuizhu’s words, everyone else nodded as well.

Yiyi saw this and couldn’t help but say, ”You don’t have to dislike someone just because I do, it’s really okay.”

”Yiyi, since you don’t like that Tang Tianyou, it must be because there’s something wrong with him. So it’s only right for us not to like him either,” Tao Cuizhu said matter-of-factly.

The others nodded in agreement, finding it reasonable.

Seeing them like this, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile, ”Alright, alright, just do as you please then.”

After saying this, they quickly started eating and then returned to the dormitory together.

”Yiyi, I’ve noticed recently that there are many pills on the market with similar effects to those from our pharmaceutical factory. It seems that those pharmacies haven’t adhered to the agreement and are still using the formula Lei Xu sold them.”

After lunch, Tao Cuizhu found a chance to talk to Yiyi about this.

When she mentioned Lei Xu, she almost wished she could beat him up; because of him, the pharmaceutical factory is going to suffer so many losses. ℴ

Upon hearing Tao Cuizhu’s words, Yiyi sighed, ”I’ve thought about this issue long ago. Even if we got the formula back, those pharmacies must have memorized it, so even if we strictly prohibit it, it won’t help. They can easily make excuses, claiming it’s a newly developed pill.”

”Yiyi, are we just going to let it go like this?”

Tao Cuizhu was somewhat unwilling, feeling that Yiyi’s efforts had been entirely plagiarized.

Seeing Tao Cuizhu’s angry demeanor, Yiyi couldn’t help but laugh: ”No worries, even if they manufacture pills, the effects won’t be as good as ours, after all, we are the authentic ones.”

Hearing this, Tao Cuizhu couldn’t help but ask, ”Really? Are those pills generally ineffective? How about I pretend to be a customer next time and buy some from those pharmacies to check them out?”

Listening to this proposal, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile: ”Sure, let’s pretend to be customers together next time.”

”Okay.”

Seeing Yiyi agree to her proposal, Tao Cuizhu happily nodded.

In the end, even Cao Panpan and the others went along.

”Panpan, you really should go directly to the pharmaceutical factory; we’re quite a group, what if someone notices something,” Tao Cuizhu couldn’t help but say to them when they looked like such a large group.

Cao Panpan quickly responded, ”Yiyi, dorm leader, don’t worry, our acting skills are definitely spot on, no one will notice a thing. Besides, Yudan is with us; she acted so well in the TV drama before, this time pretending to be a pill-buying customer will be no problem.”

Hearing this, Tao Cuizhu was a bit exasperated.

Even Yiyi found it amusing, ”Alright, alright, we’ll head in together later, it doesn’t actually require any acting skills, after all, we’re genuinely going to buy pills.”

”Oh yeah, we are genuinely spending our money to buy pills, so we’re definitely real customers.”

As they chatted and laughed, they entered a previously selected pharmacy.

”Boss, I heard you have some newly released pills here with great effects. What are they?”

Cao Panpan was the first to speak, directly stating their purpose.

”We indeed have several new pills with great effects, like Beauty Pills, Growth Pills, Health Pills, and others. What kind of effects are you looking for in a pill?” The boss listed a few and then glanced at Cao Panpan, adding, ”Our pills aren’t cheap, so you need to think carefully about what you want to buy.”

Seeing the boss’s somewhat dismissive attitude, Cao Panpan got quite upset, ”Do you think I can’t afford them?”

The boss didn’t say anything, but his expression was self-explanatory.

Yiyi and the others, at a glance, looked like students, and students don’t generally have much money, so the boss was convinced they couldn’t afford many pills, thus his indifferent and even cold attitude.

Seeing this, Yiyi couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, directly pulling out money from her bag and placing it on the table, ”We want to buy pills with good effects, so please introduce them all to us.”

Seeing the pile of money on the table, the boss’s attitude immediately changed, and he began introducing the pills to Yiyi and her friends one by one.

Many pills like Beauty Pills and Growth Pills have the same effects as the whitening pills and Height Increasing Pills from their pharmaceutical factory, so without a doubt, they were based on the formula Lei Xu sold.

Yiyi showed no expression, but Tao Cuizhu and Cao Panpan looked somewhat displeased.

Unable to hold back, Cao Panpan was about to say something, when Yiyi directly held her back and said to the boss, ”We’ll take one of each of these new pills, and if they work well, we’ll come back for more.”

Upon hearing this, the boss packed up the pills and charged Yiyi several hundred.

”This... this is too expensive.”

Tao Cuizhu couldn’t resist commenting, judging by the amount, this pharmacy’s pills were sold at higher prices than their factory’s.

”Don’t worry, young ladies, they’re definitely worth the price, you get what you pay for. You should trust our pharmacy’s pills,” the boss said with a smile, waving them out.

Once out of the pharmacy, Cao Panpan angrily said, ”Too much! This pharmacy is too greedy, daring to sell them at such a price.”

Wei Xiweng and Feng Yudan couldn’t help but nod.

Finally, Yiyi said, ”Alright, let’s go back to the pharmaceutical factory.”

At that, they stopped talking and headed to the pharmaceutical factory together.

Mo Ping, seeing Yiyi and the others arrive, quickly greeted them with a smile.

Tao Cuizhu and the rest were very self-disciplined; upon reaching the factory, they returned to their respective work positions, while Yiyi handed over the pills they had just bought from the pharmacy to Mo Ping, ”These are the newly emerged pills on the market that are similar to ours; have someone inspect them to see the differences.”

Hearing Yiyi’s words, Mo Ping’s expression turned a bit serious, and after taking the pills, he directly found someone to get to work.

About two hours later, Mo Ping returned to the office, handing the inspection report to Yiyi, ”Boss, look at this; those pills are virtually identical to ours, so they must have been made using the formula Lei Xu sold.”

Yiyi actually had an inkling all along, so she wasn’t quite as angry as she might have been.

But it was undeniable, their factory was bound to be busy next.

”Mo Ping, even if those pharmacies produce pills identical to ours, it’s okay; we mustn’t disrupt our process. We should continue to ensure quality and quantity in pill production. Additionally... we shouldn’t let those pharmacies get away with it; back at the police station, they promised to adhere to the agreement only to turn around and do otherwise. Even if we can’t solve it fundamentally, we need to create some trouble for them.”
