The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 441: Chapter 440: Senior

Song Xiaoqing had already regained consciousness. As soon as she entered the ward, she anxiously looked at the tiny figure on the baby bed, her eyes full of eagerness. ”The child... how is the child?”

”Xiaoqing, don’t worry, the child is fine, everything is fine.”

Ding Yuejun quickly reassured her, then carefully picked up the child and placed him beside Ding Yuejun. ”Take a look at your child first, he’s a very cute boy.”

Seeing the tiny person beside her, Song Xiaoqing felt her entire being soften, her heart melting, ”My child.”

Song Chi stood beside the mother and child, seeing them like this, his face was full of smiles, but upon seeing his wife’s pale face, he felt distressed, ”Xiaoqing, the child hasn’t opened his eyes yet anyway, why don’t you rest for a while.”

However, Song Xiaoqing felt she couldn’t look enough, she kept earnestly staring at her child.

Seeing this, Ding Yuejun couldn’t help but say, ”Xiaoqing, you need to rest first, otherwise how will you take care of the child later?”

Hearing this, Song Xiaoqing finally closed her eyes and rested.

Song Chi thanked Ding Yuejun, ”Really, thank you for today, otherwise Xiaoqing and I wouldn’t know what would happen.”

Ding Yuejun quickly replied, ”No need to thank us, but...” At the end, her eyes showed suspicion, ”I believe Xiaoqing was definitely getting regular checkups before, how was the result of the last examination?”

Speaking of this, Song Chi realized something and said solemnly, ”Although Xiaoqing is older, every time the examination results were not bad, the last time the doctor just told us to wait for childbirth with peace of mind, but how long has it been, and the child suddenly came prematurely.”

”Just before godmother had complications, we were eating the snacks Old Mrs. Song sent us.”

Yiyi suddenly recalled that plate of coconut milk cake and couldn’t help but mention it.

Hearing this, Song Chi’s expression became even worse. After a long pause, he finally came to his senses and quickly asked Ding Yuejun and Yiyi to go back and rest. It had been four or five hours already, and they hadn’t even had lunch, so if they stayed any longer, it would be dinner time.

Ding Yuejun was still a bit uneasy.

Song Chi quickly said, ”Don’t worry, I’ve prepared everything early on, later both the nanny to help with the child and the cook will come, so go rest quickly.”

Hearing this, Ding Yuejun finally took her daughter and left.

The mother and daughter walked on the road, and Ding Yuejun finally found an opportunity to talk to her daughter. She glanced at Yiyi and said, ”You shouldn’t have mentioned Old Mrs. Song earlier, that plate of coconut milk cake must not have a problem. The old lady wants the child to be safe more than anyone.”

”Mom, I know Old Mrs. Song won’t harm godmother, but you never know about other people, so even if there’s no problem with that plate of coconut milk cake, there’s definitely a problem elsewhere, so godfather still has to investigate carefully.”

Upon hearing her daughter’s words, Ding Yuejun didn’t say more, just sighed and said, ”It’s really not easy for your godmother, finally having a child, yet encountering such an incident at childbirth. Fortunately, mother and son are safe, otherwise your godfather would be beside himself with sadness.”

”Yes.”

Yiyi nodded in agreement, then added, ”Mom, let’s go visit godmother again tomorrow.”

”Mm.”

When they returned home, Mr. Ding couldn’t help but ask, ”I heard that Song Chi’s wife had complications, did you just happen to be there?”

Ding Yuejun nodded and said, ”Yes, we happened to be there. Luckily Yiyi was there too, otherwise, I would have been at a loss.” She then explained the situation at that time and concluded, ”Fortunately, mother and son are safe, and we can finally relax a bit.”

”That’s good.”

The next day, Yiyi and her mother went to the hospital again.

Today Old Mrs. Song also came. Looking at her small grandson, her face was full of joy, but she also remembered Song Xiaoqing’s hardships and kept praising her after putting the child down.

Song Xiaoqing felt a bit embarrassed by the compliments.

Ding Yuejun saw this and covered her mouth while laughing.

Seeing everyone’s smiling faces, Yiyi also smiled, then picked up the thermos to get hot water outside.

”Hey... you’re Ding Yiyi, right?”

Just before reaching the boiling water room, Yiyi heard someone calling her. She looked back and found a senior from school she had met once, so she nodded to him and said, ”Hello, I’m Ding Yiyi.”

Tang Tianyou looked at Yiyi nodding and couldn’t help but smile, ”I wasn’t wrong, but why are you here?”

”I have relatives who just had a baby, so I came to see.”

Hearing this, Tang Tianyou looked at the direction Yiyi came from and then said in surprise, ”Your relatives are staying in the special care ward?”

Yiyi nodded calmly, this wasn’t something to hide, others would definitely have seen it.

Seeing Yiyi nod, Tang Tianyou’s eyes flashed and his smile deepened. If he wasn’t wrong, the person staying in the special care ward seemed to be Song Chi, Lord Song’s family, he didn’t expect Ding Yiyi to have such relatives, ”Junior Yiyi, you’re here to get hot water, how about I help you?”

Yiyi quickly waved her hand and said, ”No need, I can do it myself.” Saying this, she entered the boiling water room.

Tang Tianyou followed her in and then said, ”Let me do it.”

Seeing Tang Tianyou being so enthusiastic, Yiyi frowned slightly, but ultimately she didn’t pay attention to him and directly fetched the hot water.

Seeing Yiyi like this, Tang Tianyou paused slightly and then didn’t insist.

”Senior, you go ahead, I’ll head back to the ward first.”

Yiyi lifted the thermos and directly waved goodbye.

”Take care.”

Watching Yiyi’s distant figure, Tang Tianyou finally withdrew his gaze and returned to his seat, then took out some documents and started reading them. But soon he found he couldn’t concentrate, his mind full of thoughts about Song Chi. That was Song Chi, usually only shown on the news, yet here he was appearing before him, and Ding Yiyi was actually his relative.

Yiyi, unaware that others were thinking so much because of her connection to the Song family, carried the thermos straight back to the ward.

”Yiyi, don’t bother, next time let the aunt fetch the water.”

At this moment, Song Chi came in and saw Yiyi busying around, so he quickly said.

But Yiyi laughed and replied, ”It’s okay, I’m free anyway.”

While they chatted, more people entered the room—it was relatives of the Song family, all coming to visit Song Xiaoqing and the child.

Seeing the growing number of people, Yiyi and Ding Yuejun decided to leave first, ”Godmother, I’ll come back to see you tomorrow at noon.”
