The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 444: Chapter 443: Herbal Paste

Mo Ping heard Yiyi say this, and quickly nodded, ”The young boss is right, those people indeed deserve a lesson. They dare to go back on their word. Even if we can’t stop them from making medicine pills, we definitely won’t let them get away with it.”

In the end, Mo Ping’s face was full of fury.

This matter was ultimately due to his negligence, so he absolutely must minimize its impact.

”Alright, this matter is up to you.”

Mo Ping hurriedly nodded and said, ”Don’t worry, young boss. I’ve got this. By the time I’m done, those pharmacies won’t know what hit them.”

Yiyi nodded and then went back.

Mo Ping’s actions were indeed swift. Within two days, it was heard that several pharmacies in Shangjing had trouble; either the medicine pills they sold had problems, or their staff got into trouble.

When Yiyi heard about this, she couldn’t help but nod. Mo Ping was really getting more competent. In such a short time, he made it impossible for those pharmacies to fend for themselves.

And she just so happened to use this time to research a new prescription.

Actually, she had considered a lot during this time and finally decided on launching a new product, which was a health tonic paste.

The weather was getting colder, making it the perfect time to nourish the body, and a tonic paste was more convenient than tonic traditional Chinese medicine.

When Yiyi went to the pharmaceutical factory again, she talked to Mo Ping about this matter.

After hearing Yiyi’s words, Mo Ping’s eyes sparkled and he said, ”Young boss, you always have great ideas. We can first do some publicity for the paste. By the time we launch it, a lot of people will love it. After all, where else can you find such a convenient way to take medicine? There’s no need to boil medicine, just soak it in water at home, and it’s ready to drink, which is super convenient.”

”Yeah, there should be quite a few people who like it, but since it hasn’t been launched yet, nothing is certain. Just focus on the promotion; this tonic paste works as well as decocted traditional medicine, and it’s more concentrated, so the effect won’t be worse.”

Hearing this, Mo Ping nodded and said, ”Don’t worry, young boss, I’ve got it under control.”

After entrusting the promotion to Mo Ping, Yiyi went straight to the pharmaceutical room. Even though she already had a plan in her mind, she had to make the paste first.

Thinking about it, she got to work quickly.

It was easier thought than done. After failing twice, Yiyi finally made the paste she wanted.

Just as she planned to take a breather, she heard Mo Ping’s voice from outside, ”Young boss, why don’t you have dinner with us tonight.”

Hearing this, Yiyi realized it was already so late.

Besides Mo Ping, there were also Tao Cuizhu and the others outside. When they saw Yiyi finally come out, they breathed a sigh of relief.

”Yiyi, you’ve stayed inside for five or six hours. If you didn’t come out, we were going to go in,” Tao Cuizhu couldn’t help but say.

Cao Panpan nodded in agreement, ”Yeah, yeah, the dorm leader was so anxious just now, and we were all very worried.”

Seeing how concerned they were, Yiyi couldn’t help but laugh, ”It takes a long time for the medicine-making process, so you don’t need to worry at all.”

Although Tao Cuizhu and the others knew this, they were naturally still worried since Yiyi hadn’t come out for a long time. Eventually, the group went directly to the factory cafeteria.

They were really hungry and had a satisfying meal.

After eating, Yiyi intended to leave.

Tao Cuizhu couldn’t help but say, ”Yiyi, it’s so late, why not stay at the factory for the night? It’s just the few of us in the dormitory, and you can squeeze in with us.”

Yiyi shook her head upon hearing this, ”Forget it, I’d better go back, otherwise my mom will worry. I didn’t tell her I wouldn’t be back tonight before leaving.”

Hearing this, they no longer insisted.

But Yiyi didn’t leave immediately. She handed the paste she had made today to them and said, ”This is the tonic paste I adjusted today, specially prepared for you. You can try it and see if it works.”

Hearing this, Tao Cuizhu and the others were very surprised.

”Wow... Yiyi, you actually made tonic paste especially for us. We are so moved,” Cao Panpan said with a face full of surprise.

Knowing Yiyi’s skill in making medicine, the factory’s medicine pills were highly effective. Although the paste was a new product, they trusted Yiyi’s ability and were overwhelmingly happy to hear it was specially made for them.

Seeing their delight, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile, ”Just make sure to tell me how you feel about it later to see how effective the paste is.”

”Don’t worry Yiyi, we’ll be sure to tell you everything in detail,” Wei Xiweng said with a bright smile, clearly excited to try the paste.

Feng Yudan then asked, ”Yiyi, how do we take this paste?”

Yiyi smiled and said, ”I almost forgot about that,” and then explained the method. It was actually quite simple; take it once a day for the first half-month, then twice a day, ”but I didn’t make much this time. When you’re almost done, I’ll make another batch for you.”

”No need, no need, what we have now is already plenty,” Tao Cuizhu quickly refused.

However, Yiyi insisted, ”No, since you’re taking it, you have to take it for the full course. Besides, it’s a tonic and won’t harm your body, so you must stick with it.”

Seeing Yiyi insist, the others didn’t say more.

After Yiyi left, Tao Cuizhu and the others returned to the dormitory and immediately started trying the paste.

Cao Panpan was the quickest. After soaking it, she took a sip and immediately frowned, ”This paste is definitely still traditional Chinese medicine, so bitter.”

”It’s supposed to be Chinese medicine, what were you expecting it to taste like?” Wei Xiweng glared at her and then gulped it down in one go, though her brows were tightly furrowed.

Seeing Wei Xiweng do that, Cao Panpan laughed but eventually gulped hers too.

Feng Yudan also frowned after drinking it and finally said, ”Looks like next time we should have some sugar ready before taking this.”

”Yes, yes, definitely need some sugar ready,” Cao Panpan quickly agreed.

Tao Cuizhu then said, ”Alright, since you’ve all finished, let’s wash up and rest, we have to be busy tomorrow.”

Hearing this, everyone nodded.

Meanwhile, when Yiyi got home and saw that her mother hadn’t returned, she couldn’t help but ask Old Master Ding, ”Grandpa, is Mom not back yet?”

Old Master Ding nodded, ”Yes, lately Yue Jun seems to be getting busy again. Next time you should advise her not to work so hard.”

This time, Yiyi agreed, nodding, ”I’ll definitely have a good talk with her next time.”

Old Master Ding nodded in satisfaction, ”Good, do speak to her more. It’s getting late, you should go rest too.”
