Super Rich by Doing as You Please

When she heard that Xu Yun had his own media company and a film studio, her heart couldn’t help but race.

No wonder Mr. Zhang Jin was so warm and enthusiastic toward him earlier.

’If I can just get in with him, I won’t have to worry about resources ever again.’

’But that’s only if he’s actually willing to help me.’

Over the past few years, she’d met her share of so-called ”patrons,” but they were all obviously unreliable. All they wanted was to sleep with her for free; they never actually followed through on their promises.

So, whenever men with ulterior motives dropped hints, she pretended not to understand.

She had thought her talent was enough, that a real powerhouse would eventually notice her excellence and give her a chance.

But that never happened.

No matter how hard she worked, nothing had changed!

So, she decided to compromise.

As long as he would actually help her, actually give her a chance, she was willing to offer herself up.

From her conversation with Xu Yun tonight, Wanqing felt that this was her chance.

As they were chatting, Zhang Jin suddenly came over with his friend.

Neither of them was surprised to see Wanqing standing beside Xu Yun.

’After all, isn’t finding a woman what everyone comes here for? It’d be stranger if he *didn’t* have one with him!’

The younger man approached Xu Yun with an easy familiarity. ”Brother, I heard you and Zhang Jin are from the same hometown? Figured I’d come over and say hi. The name’s Ruan Heqing.”

”His dad is one of Huayi’s shareholders,” Zhang Jin added from the side.

Xu Yun acknowledged him with a nod, his reaction muted. ”Hello, Young Master Ruan.”

”Hey, just ’brother’ is fine.”

Ruan Heqing was no fool. After seeing Zhang Jin take the initiative to greet Xu Yun, he had asked about the man’s identity.

Zhang Jin had no idea who Xu Yun really was, so he could only answer vaguely, ”He’s a guy from my hometown. A rich kid from some bigwig’s family.”

Upon hearing this, Ruan Heqing naturally wanted to come and make his acquaintance.

’That way, if I ever visit the Mainland, I’ll have a friend there, right?’

But before approaching Xu Yun, he had first sized up his ”value.”

Just from a glance, he could see clothes worth over a hundred thousand and a watch worth over three million, to say nothing of the things that weren’t visible.

That’s why he’d dragged Zhang Jin over with him to make a friendly overture.

Now, seeing Xu Yun’s cool, unfazed reaction even after hearing who he was, Ruan Heqing was even more convinced that Xu Yun was no ordinary person.

”Brother, is this your first time visiting Hong Kong Island?”

Ruan Heqing leaned in and said conspiratorially, ”This party’s boring. Next time, I’ll take you to something much more fun. Not here—we’ll go straight out to sea for three days and two nights.”

What kind of brotherhood is the strongest?

The kind forged by fighting in the trenches together and whoring together, of course!

”Alright.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”Next time I’m here, you’ll have to show me what that’s like.”

”Of course. Then it’s settled.”

Ruan Heqing glanced at Zhang Jin and said with a laugh, ”Going out with this guy is a bit of a buzzkill. He can’t loosen up at all.”

”He’s a family man, after all, unlike us single guys.”

”Brother, have you picked your target for tonight?”

Ruan Heqing whispered in Xu Yun’s ear, ”How about I send a few your way to take home? I’ve got several pretty good ones with me.”

”I’ve already chosen.”

Xu Yun gestured toward Wanqing beside him.

”Brother, you’re playing it too safe. How can one be enough?”

Ruan Heqing laughed. ”You need at least two. Don’t tell me you can’t handle it? If you can’t, don’t worry, I have some pills. They work wonders.”

”That’s not it. I’m just a bit picky.”

Xu Yun demurred, ”Young Master Ruan, you don’t need to worry about me.”

”Nonsense. It’s our first time meeting. I insist on giving you a gift.”

Ruan Heqing gestured somewhere, and a beautiful woman walked over. It was Michelle, the very friend Wanqing had been with earlier.

She glanced at Xu Yun and Wanqing, then said coquettishly to Ruan Heqing, ”Young Master Ruan, why did you call me over?”

”This is my buddy, President Xu. It’s his first time visiting Hong Kong Island.”

Ruan Heqing didn’t beat around the bush. ”I need you to keep him company for me tonight,” he said to her directly. ”If my friend has a good time, I’ll make it worth your while.”

”Of course, Young Master Ruan.”

Michelle froze. She never imagined that in the blink of an eye, Young Master Ruan would offer her up as a gift.

She forced a smile and had no choice but to agree.

”Brother, that’s settled then. Have fun. If you need anything, just have Zhang Jin find me.”

With that, he turned, taking Zhang Jin with him. A moment later, he had his arm around another woman and was gone, showing no restraint whatsoever.

He was clearly a regular at these kinds of parties, completely accustomed to the scene.

Suddenly, only Wanqing and her friend were left standing beside Xu Yun.

Even though he was here to have a good time, he felt a little awkward about this sudden development.

’A threesome... It’s not that I’m against the idea; I’m even a little curious. But they’re supposed to be friends. That’s a bit awkward, isn’t it?’

”Um, why don’t you two talk for a minute?”

Xu Yun decided to give them some space to sort it out themselves.

He said, ”I’m going to walk around over there for a bit. I’ll come find you later.”

Xu Yun left.

Wanqing and Michelle stood frozen, sharing an awkward glance.

So much for that. They were now in direct competition.

”Wanqing, how about you let me have this one?”

Michelle was the first to speak. ”It took so much to get Young Master Ruan to give me this chance. I don’t want to give it up. This is my only opportunity, and I don’t know when I’ll get another.”

”But...”

Wanqing looked at her friend, hesitated, then said, ”This might be my only chance, too. I don’t want to let it go, either.”
