Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Half an hour later, everyone gathered their clothes for the upcoming bath and headed to the parking lot.

Although the other girl hadn’t brought a swimsuit, Wang Yang said they sold them there—in all sorts of styles—so they could buy whatever they needed.

When they got to the parking lot, the three women saw Xu Yun’s RV.

Lin Wanzhou drove the vehicle over and opened the door.

The three women got on one after another, and Xu Yun brought up the rear.

”This RV is gorgeous, and the interior looks so high-end.”

The moment the two university students were on board, they began looking all around, admiring the quality of the materials and feeling the sofa they were sitting on.

It was their first time in an RV, so they had no idea what brand it was or how much it cost.

But Wang Yang knew.

She had seen this type of RV once before, but had never been inside one.

She had looked it up after seeing one before and found out.

”Of course it’s nice.”

Wang Yang explained with a smile, ”This vehicle was jointly developed by Yutong and Mercedes-Benz. It sells for over two million.”

The two university students were speechless.

Wang Yang turned to Xu Yun. ”I heard the sound system in this thing is great. Is that true?”

”I wouldn’t know. I bought it on a whim just for this trip, so I haven’t used a lot of the features yet.”

Xu Yun said with a smile, ”Let me turn it on and see.”

With that, he turned on the music and randomly selected a song. It was ”Where Is the Promised Happiness?” by Jay Chou.

Jian Shiwai had prepared the playlist for the car. She knew Xu Yun was a fan of Jay Chou, so it was mostly filled with his songs.

”What’s wrong? You’re tired... Where is our promised happiness...”

Listening to the crisp, lossless audio was a pure delight.

”Would you like something to drink?”

Xu Yun opened the fridge and looked at the various drinks inside. ”We have bottled water, soft drinks, and all kinds of alcohol.”

”Anything is fine.”

”In that case, let’s have some of this.”

Xu Yun picked up a bottle of champagne and four glasses, walked over, and set them on the table.

In the center of the RV was a table with seating for four.

Cheng Yiran and her friend sat on one side, so Xu Yun had no choice but to sit with Wang Yang.

As he opened the bottle, he said with a smile, ”Manager Jian told me this champagne is excellent. Let’s all give it a try.”

”Who’s Manager Jian?” Cheng Yiran asked without thinking.

”My personal banker and wealth manager.”

Xu Yun explained, ”She was actually supposed to join me on this trip. She’s the one who stocked the RV with everything.”

”But something unexpected happened on the way to Guilin, so I had her fly back home.”

Cheng Yiran was speechless.

Private banking, a dedicated wealth manager... these concepts were completely foreign to her. She’d never even heard of them before.

But she could tell right away that this was no simple matter.

Wang Yang, however, knew exactly what kind of person qualified for such a service.

It was a privilege reserved only for a bank’s most elite clients.

And what did it take to be an elite client?

The threshold for private banking was a personal account balance that consistently stayed above ten million.

And mind you, that didn’t mean just having ten million, but having a balance that never dipped *below* ten million.

But there was another detail.

Not only did the manager provide one-on-one service, but she was also able to accompany Xu Yun on his vacation.

That alone spoke volumes about his standing with the bank.

’God only knows how much money he must have deposited to make bankers grovel like that.’

’Banks are completely two-faced!’

’To people who need money, they act all high and mighty, like they’re your lord and master, because they have the cash you need.’

’But to people who *have* money, they’re complete sycophants, because they need you to keep your money with them.’

While she was lost in thought, Xu Yun finished pouring the champagne.

Even before tasting it, everyone found the aroma delightful.

Then everyone took a sip.

”It’s delicious.”

Cheng Yiran was the first to speak. ”It’s much smoother and more refreshing than anything I’ve ever had at a bar,” she said with a smile.

”It’s definitely different from what they serve at bars.”

Wang Yang chimed in, ”This taste... this bottle must not have been cheap, right?”

”I wouldn’t know. Like I said, I didn’t buy it. My only job is to drink it.”

”Let me look it up.”

Cheng Yiran looked at the information on the bottle and started searching on her phone.

The moment the search results popped up, she was completely stunned.

The wine was called ”Krug Clos d’Ambonnay Blanc de Noirs,” commonly known as ”Black Brick.” There was another version, a Blanc de Blancs known as ”White Diamond.” Both went for around ten thousand a bottle.

”How much is it?” her friend asked, her curiosity piqued.

Cheng Yiran answered, ”Over ten thousand.”

The girl was speechless.

’This isn’t wine we’re drinking, it’s liquid gold!’

Wang Yang was also inwardly stunned.

She had never drunk such expensive champagne before.

’Rich people are so extravagant! A random bottle of champagne in the car costs over ten thousand.’

She took another sip, savoring it carefully before joking with a smile, ”No wonder it’s so good. How could it not be at this price? You get what you pay for.”

”I wouldn’t say that.”

Xu Yun disagreed. ”I once ordered some ’supreme package’ at a club for several hundred thousand, and I thought the alcohol that came with it was terrible.”

”Another time, I ordered a bottle of red wine for 88,888 during dinner, and that wasn’t good either. A total rip-off.”

Everyone was speechless.

They had all thought that a ten-thousand-yuan bottle was incredibly expensive, but now, hearing him talk...

It suddenly gave them the impression that to him, this ten-thousand-yuan-plus bottle of champagne was almost too cheap to be served.

The place they were headed was called the Green Rhythm Club.

It was located in a remote and quiet, forested area, full of lush greenery.

Wang Yang explained that it was originally the private resort of a local tycoon.

But later he ”went inside,” and someone else took over the place, converting it into a club with private hot springs.
