Super Rich by Doing as You Please

We’re screwed!

Xu Yun didn’t even have time to think. His muscle memory kicked in, and his hands and feet flew into motion.

After all, he possessed the Intermediate Professional Driving Skills granted by the system.

As Jian Shiwai watched in disbelief, Xu Yun executed an extreme maneuver with a Divine Level reaction. He sent the RV into a drift, scraping past the wrecked car ahead and successfully dodging it.

He finally braked to a stop on the emergency shoulder, right behind Lin Wanzhou, having successfully averted disaster.

Jian Shiwai gasped for breath, still reeling from the shock.

Xino, who had been resting on the bed in the back of the RV without a seatbelt, was thrown to the floor by the vehicle’s inertia, landing with a heavy thud.

She was left completely dazed and disoriented.

But Yan Can, who was following Xu Yun, wasn’t so lucky.

Although he had reacted immediately after seeing Xu Yun’s RV start to drift...

...his lack of skill and improper handling caused him to turn the wheel too sharply, and his car flipped onto its side.

The car rolled three times in a deadly tumble across the highway before coming to a stop.

Lin Wanzhou was already out of his car, rushing toward Yan Can’s vehicle.

When Xu Yun saw Yan Can’s car, his heart sank. He glanced back at Xino and told Jian Shiwai to check on her.

Then, he also ran over to Yan Can.

By the time Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou reached Yan Can’s wrecked car, the entire vehicle was on its side.

Yan Can was pinned in his seat, trapped inside the car, making it difficult to see his condition.

”Yan Can, how are you?!”

”Brother Xu, help me!”

From inside the car, Yan Can cried out, his voice tinged with tears, ”My head really hurts.”

Hearing that he was still alive, they both breathed a sigh of relief.

”Hang in there. We’ll get you out right away.”

Lin Wanzhou smashed the upper window, reached in, and helped Yan Can unbuckle his seatbelt. Xu Yun helped pull him out from the outside. Working together, they had him free in moments.

Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou checked Yan Can’s injuries. He had gotten incredibly lucky; the seatbelt and the car’s safety features had saved his life.

Despite the deadly rollover, the driver’s cabin hadn’t deformed, so he had surprisingly only suffered a minor head injury and was bleeding a little.

Other than that, he was fine.

Lin Wanzhou helped him toward his own car, while Xu Yun hurried back to check on Xino.

”I’m fine.”

Xino put on a brave face, biting her lip against the pain. ”It’s just... my arm. I can’t move it. It hurts a lot when I try. I don’t know how bad it is.”

”Let me see.”

Lin Wanzhou stepped forward, felt her arm, and said, ”It’s probably a dislocated bone. We need to get her to a hospital to have it set as soon as possible, or there could be lasting damage.”

The scene of the five-car pile-up had descended into chaos, filled with all kinds of wailing and shouting.

There were bloodstains on the ground and on the cars.

It was a very serious rear-end collision.

Yan Can was sitting off to the side, still shaken.

Lin Wanzhou looked at Xu Yun and asked, ”President Xu, what’s the plan? Do we wait here for an ambulance, or do we take these two to the hospital ourselves?”

Although he wanted to help with the rescue at the main crash site, as Xu Yun’s guide and bodyguard, his first priority was his employer’s safety.

After confirming that his own group was out of immediate danger, Xu Yun thought for a moment and said to Lin Wanzhou, ”You go help with the other vehicles. I’ll set Xino’s bone first.”

”But what about Miss Xi? Her arm...”

”It’s fine. I know a little about medicine.”

Xu Yun said, ”I’ll set it for her and then make a temporary splint. She should be fine after that.”

Lin Wanzhou was speechless.

’He hadn’t expected Xu Yun to have a skill like this. It was quite a surprise.’

’This rich kid seemed different from the others he had met. Not only was he kinder, but he was also surprisingly skilled.’

’During the sit-up contest earlier, his endurance and core strength were even better than my own. This wasn’t a man whose body had been wasted by a decadent lifestyle.’

’And then there was his handling of the vehicle just now during the emergency. His lightning-fast reaction and control, especially in an RV with a high center of gravity, were not something an ordinary person could pull off.’

’He had been sure Xu Yun was either going to crash or flip over just like Yan Can.’

’And now, he was claiming he knew medicine? Bone-setting, no less!’

”Alright then. I’ll go help over there. Call me if you need anything,” Lin Wanzhou said before running toward the main crash site.

As a former elite soldier, he was far more experienced at handling accidents with casualties than the average person.

As soon as he arrived, he quickly took on a commanding role.

After Lin Wanzhou left, Xu Yun thought to himself, ’I need to set a bone now.’

As the system’s voice faded, a slight twinge of pain shot through Xu Yun’s brain, just as it had before. Immediately after, a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding bone-setting flooded his mind.

In that moment, he felt as if he were a doctor who had been setting bones for many years.

”This might hurt a bit. Brace yourself.”

As he spoke, Xu Yun took her arm with one hand and grasped her elbow joint with the other. With a sudden burst of force, he pulled and then pushed back.

”AHH!”

Xino cried out in pain as the bone instantly popped back into place.

”All done.”

Xu Yun lowered her arm and had Jian Shiwai help Xino sit up. He then went to the grassy shrubs on the roadside, broke off a few straight branches, and returned.
