Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Wang Yang looked at the card in her hand. She knew who had sent the shoes.

Tears welled up in her eyes.

Falling for someone has nothing to do with how long you’ve known them.

In that moment, Xu Yun’s romantic gesture completely shattered her defenses.

She felt she had fallen completely in love with him.

Unfortunately, they could only be passing figures in each other’s lives, destined to have no future together.

But perhaps that was for the best.

Looking at the red high heels before her, Wang Yang cried happy tears and said, ”At least I once had an amazing man in my life.”

In the future, on her wedding day, she would wear these high heels and tuck the memory of this man away in the deepest corner of her heart.

As for Xu Yun, the man at the center of it all, he had already arrived in Shenzhen with Lin Wanzhou.

His car didn’t have Hong Kong license plates, so he couldn’t cross the border. They had to stop here for a day, which also gave them a chance to find a good guide to take them on a tour of Hong Kong tomorrow.

Tonight, they were staying at the Four Seasons Hotel.

The hotel was located in a prime area of the Futian District, the new central business district, and was a rather modern and luxurious establishment.

Xu Yun now had one principle when it came to booking hotels.

As soon as he arrived somewhere, he would pull out his phone, search for the most expensive place, and stay there.

However, the suites at this hotel required booking a day in advance online, so they just drove straight there.

While the doorman was parking their car, Xu Yun had already led Lin Wanzhou to the front desk in the lobby.

A person’s car is a reflection of their status.

After the concierge recognized that they had arrived in a multi-million-yuan RV, he knew they were distinguished guests with deep pockets and was incredibly enthusiastic the entire way.

Then again, the guests who stayed at this hotel were generally not ordinary people; the average nightly rate was between 1,700 and 2,000 yuan.

Xu Yun walked up to the front desk, where a receptionist asked enthusiastically, ”Welcome, sirs. Do you have a reservation made online?”

”No.”

”Then what kind of room are you looking for?”

The receptionist explained, ”We have deluxe rooms with single or double occupancy, as well as a variety of suites.”

Xu Yun asked, ”What’s your most expensive room?”

”The Presidential Suite. It’s 475 square meters and averages over 60,000 yuan a night.”

”Is it available?”

”Yes, it is, sir.”

Xu Yun took out his bank card, handed it to her, and said casually, ”Alright, give us one of those.”

The receptionist was slightly taken aback when she saw the private black card he handed her.

But she quickly composed herself.

Working here, they saw cards like this all the time. It wasn’t anything unusual, and certainly not something to be shocked over.

They were just surprised that someone as young as Xu Yun possessed a private bank card.

After all, the people they usually saw pulling out private bank black cards were successful, middle-aged men.

”Mr. Xu, your two-bedroom Presidential Suite has been successfully checked in. The nightly rate is 64,985 yuan. We hope you have a wonderful evening.”

After completing the transaction, the receptionist returned Xu Yun’s bank card and the room key with both hands.

A private concierge standing nearby pushed their luggage, pressed the elevator button in advance, and led them to the exclusive floor on the 28th level of the hotel.

The moment he pushed open the door, a spacious, luxurious, and modern space unfolded before them.

Then, following standard procedure, the concierge began to explain the privileges associated with their room key.

”Mr. Xu, your stay includes a one-time breakfast for two and a one-time car service. The vehicle model varies, but it’s usually a BMW 7 Series, with a limit of three passengers per room.

”In addition, you are entitled to a one-time access for two to the Executive Lounge with Executive Privileges, as well as the Yue Spa, among other services.

”The Executive Lounge is on the 29th floor and is open from 6:20 AM to 11:00 PM. In the morning, we offer a select Continental breakfast. From 2:30 to 5:00 PM, we serve afternoon tea, and from 5:30 to 8:00 PM is our complimentary exquisite cocktail hour.

”As for the specific details of other services, you’ll find a comprehensive guide in the envelope in your room, so I won’t take up any more of your time.

”Finally, I hope you enjoy your stay. If you need anything, you can call room service. We have dedicated staff on call 24 hours a day.”

After the concierge left, Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou unpacked a little, then went to the restaurant to order something to eat.

”So, it was just a one-night stand. Why did you send her a pair of red high heels when you left?”

Lin Wanzhou asked, a bit puzzled, ”Is there some special meaning behind that?”

”No special meaning.”

Xu Yun grinned. ”I just wanted her to remember me for a while longer.”

Lin Wanzhou was speechless.

”Oh, right. After we eat, let’s go upstairs and check out the Yue Spa.”

”You go. I’m not going. Not interested.”

”You, honestly.”

Xu Yun sighed. ”You’re not interested in anything, you don’t want to experience anything. What’s the point of living like that?”

Lin Wanzhou fell silent.

”Since you’re out here with me, isn’t it good to experience the world a bit more, outside of work?”

Xu Yun said, ”It’s settled. We’re going together later.”

Lin Wanzhou had no reply.

In the end, under Xu Yun’s persuasion, he tagged along.

The so-called Yue Spa was actually the hotel’s exclusive top-tier spa, offering signature treatments designed to let guests immerse themselves in a moment of natural tranquility.

The Yue Spa was located on the 8th floor, connected to an outdoor sky garden.

A path paved with naturally textured stones led to a meticulously landscaped outdoor garden, an ideal place for Yue Spa members to rest or enjoy afternoon tea—truly an oasis in the city.

Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou each requested a separate VIP aromatherapy room.

To each their own.

Before they parted, Xu Yun said with a smile, ”The complimentary service probably won’t be anything special. Once you’re in there, feel free to order whatever treatments you like. Don’t worry about the cost; they’ll just charge it to the room.”

Lin Wanzhou was at a loss for words.

Xu Yun entered his room.

The interior was bright and clear, equipped with a shower, a washroom, and a changing room.

It also featured a bathtub and a private sauna, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a full view of the Yue Terrace courtyard or the city skyline.

He had to admit, getting a massage here was a real indulgence.

After checking Xu Yun’s room key, an attendant handed him a tablet listing various treatments and asked, ”Mr. Xu, would you like to stick with the complimentary hotel service, or would you be interested in some of our other options?

”My recommendation would be to try some of our other signature treatments. They’re all quite excellent.

”If there’s anything you don’t understand, I can explain them to you one by one.”

Xu Yun couldn’t be bothered to look. Money was no object.

He put the tablet down and said, ”Just give me a full run of all your best and most unique treatments. And arrange the same for my friend in the room next door.”

”Of course, Mr. Xu. Please wait a moment while I arrange for a therapist to come and assist you.”

”Remember, I want your best female therapist!”

”Understood, Mr. Xu. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed,” the attendant replied cheerfully before stepping out.

’This is a huge sale.’

As an attendant, he earned a commission for upselling clients on services beyond the complimentary ones.

And this guy had just ordered two full packages at once.

A few minutes later, the door to Xu Yun’s room was pushed open, and a beautiful, sexy female therapist walked in, carrying her toolbox.

”Hello, Mr. Xu.”

The woman stood before Xu Yun and said respectfully, ”I’ll be your therapist. My name is Xiaoyun. It’s a pleasure to be of service to you.”

”Mm,” Xu Yun grunted, giving her a once-over. He was quite satisfied with the therapist before him.

Seeing that Xu Yun hadn’t dismissed her, Xiaoyun knew she had passed his inspection and could begin the official preparations.

She smiled and said, ”Mr. Xu, please wait just a moment. I’ll go prepare the materials, and then we can begin the first treatment, the ’Noble Agarwood Journey.’”

”Alright, no rush.”

Under the yellow light, Xiaoyun, dressed in a tube top and a sheer skirt, leaned over slightly to retrieve items from a glass cabinet by the sink, beginning her preparations.

Her body formed an S-curve, her hips tilted up slightly, fully displaying her feminine allure.

’The therapists at these luxury hotels really are a cut above the rest.’

’Beautiful faces, great figures... quite a feast for the eyes. I just wonder how their technique is.’

Xu Yun stared at her, a sense of anticipation building within him.

’I wonder if Old Lin next door will be able to keep up his straight-laced act when a beauty like this starts working on him.’

’This will be a real test for him!’
