Super Rich by Doing as You Please

At the gym, the woman stared at the handsome man in front of her, completely caught off guard by his move.

’One hundred thousand?’

’You think you can just name any price you want because you’re handsome?’

’He’s clearly doing this on purpose.’

The woman said irritably, ”One hundred thousand? How about you give it to me instead? I’ll sleep with you, sound good?”

”Sure,”

Xu Yun agreed in a heartbeat. ”But I’ll need to see your health certificate first. Otherwise, I won’t feel safe. I’m afraid of getting poisoned.”

”What’s that supposed to mean?”

The woman flushed with shame and anger. ”Do you take me for some kind of call girl?”

”Aren’t you?”

”...” The woman was left speechless, her chest tight with anger.

Seeing that she was still trying to play the part of a high-society lady, Xu Yun laughed. ”Alright, stop bothering me. Go back and tell my ’brother-in-law’ to send someone better next time. Who does he think he’s looking down on?”

”...”

The woman hadn’t expected to be found out. ”I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she said, her confidence wavering.

”You know exactly what I’m talking about.”

Xu Yun said coolly, ”How about this? I’ll give you a chance to make some money too.”

”What kind of chance?”

”Whatever he’s paying you, if you can successfully sleep with your boss and send me a picture as proof, I’ll double it. How does that sound?”

”...” The woman was speechless.

At this point, she realized there was no reason to continue the conversation. She would only be embarrassing herself further.

As she was making her embarrassed retreat, she ran into Xino, who had come back to look for Xu Yun.

Xino watched the woman walk away from Xu Yun, shot her a wary glance, then asked, ”Xu Yun, who was that woman?”

”Just a woman who hit on me because I’m handsome.”

Xu Yun asked with a smile as he continued his slow jog, ”You guys went shopping, right? How come you’re back so soon?”

”There wasn’t much to shop for.”

Xino said happily, ”But I did buy you a few T-shirts! They’re really nice. I’ll give them to you when we get back to the room.”

”That’s so nice of you.”

”Of course! You’re my boyfriend, after all!”

Xino laughed. ”If I don’t treat you well, who will?”

’He generally didn’t argue when the women in his life treated him like their boyfriend.’

’After all, a man can only have one wife, but he can have many girlfriends.’

’Today’s girlfriend could be tomorrow’s stranger; it all depended on where their feelings led them.’

’He felt he should be like Chu Liuxiang, passing through a garden of countless blossoms without a single petal clinging to him.’

’To love every woman he was with, yet in truth, to love none of them at all.’

Xu Yun had long since seen through Xino’s little ploy.

Buying him clothes was a genuine gesture, but it was also a convenient excuse to linger in his room and not leave.

Xu Yun wasn’t a monk. When a girl was this forward, there was no reason to spoil her fun.

So, he cut his workout short and headed back to the hotel with Xino.

Yan Can, who was getting a lesson in lifting from Lin Wanzhou, watched the pair leave together.

”We all agreed to lift together, but in the end, I’m the only one really lifting while they’re off being a couple.”

”Don’t they have turndown service?”

Lin Wanzhou said with a smile, ”You could always call for turndown service yourself.”

”???” Yan Can was dumbfounded.

Seeing his confused expression, Lin Wanzhou asked, ”Didn’t your butler ask you about the turndown service?”

”He did, but what does turndown service have to do with getting a woman?”

Lin Wanzhou asked, ”Turndown service... isn’t that, you know...?”

”Uh, you’ve got the wrong idea.”

Realizing what he meant, Yan Can laughed and explained, ”Turndown service isn’t *that* kind of service. It’s just some small things they do to get you ready for bed.”

”Like drawing your bath, putting toothpaste on your toothbrush, turning down the sheets, and things like that.”

”...” Lin Wanzhou was speechless.

’So that’s what turndown service is?’

...

On their way back to the room, Xu Yun and Xino encountered the woman who had been chatting with Yan Can earlier. She was by the elevators, accompanied by a man.

The four of them ended up in the same elevator.

When the woman saw the beautiful, elegant woman who had appeared by Xu Yun’s side, and then saw him press the button for the 63rd floor, she was stunned.

At the St. Regis Hotel, different floors corresponded to different classes of rooms.

For instance, she had learned from chatting with the man beside her that he was staying in a Caroline Astor Suite, which went for over two thousand a night.

The 63rd floor, however, was reserved for premium accommodations like the Grand Executive and Presidential Suites.

The cheapest rooms on that floor started at over ten thousand a night—far beyond what the merely wealthy could afford.

The guests on this floor were her ultimate targets, the very reason she came to this hotel.

’If she got lucky and landed a big fish, she’d be set.’

When she had been chatting with Yan Can earlier, she’d thought he was joking. She never imagined he was telling the truth.

Needing to confirm, she couldn’t help but ask, ”You’re friends with Yan Huohuo?”

”Yeah.”

”And you’re staying on the 63rd floor?”

Remembering what happened at the gym, Xu Yun knew exactly what she was thinking. He turned his head and grinned. ”What’s the matter? Aren’t gigolos like us allowed to stay in such expensive rooms?”

”...” The woman was speechless.

A few seconds later, Xu Yun and Xino stepped out of the elevator. Xino asked, confused, ”Who’s Yan Huohuo?”

”Yan Can.”

”Huh?”

Xino asked, ”And who was that woman? Do you know her?”

”A ’green tea’.”

”...” Xino was left speechless.

Back in the elevator, the man beside her asked, a little puzzled, ”So, was that guy a friend of yours?”

”Sort of, yeah.”

Faced with the question and thinking about the fact that he lived on the 63rd floor, the woman told a self-serving lie.

”Well, do you have his contact info?”

The man became uncharacteristically enthusiastic. ”Since he’s your friend, you should introduce us. Maybe we’ll have an opportunity to work together in the future.”

”Uh, actually, we’re not that close,”

the woman said awkwardly. ”We only just met. I don’t even know what he does for a living.”
