The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 807: Chapter 807: The Understanding Grandmother’s Lesson

Song Ci looked at Song Lingzhao’s blushing face, and felt it was necessary to give her grandson a lesson in sex education, to prevent the child’s worldview from being as corrupted as his eyes.

So, Song Lingzhao jumped into his grandmother’s carriage, sat cross-legged, and solemnly held his posture, his big eyes like copper bells staring at Song Ci.

Song Ci: ”...”

Fell into silence for a moment.

In fact, she had never been a mother herself, so how was she supposed to talk about these things with a teenage boy? It didn’t seem quite appropriate.

”Grandmother?”

”Ah?” Song Ci snapped back to reality and blurted out, ”How did you end up in that place at the time, who else was there with you, and did those two not notice you?”

If Song Lingzhao had been discovered, then his safety would be a concern. Who knows if that man would do something drastic to silence him.

Song Lingzhao replied, ”The little prince from Prince Xin Mansion found me. He said he wanted to repay a favor, so I was avoiding him, and while walking, ended up in that courtyard. Don’t worry, grandmother. With them, would they discover me? I even hid with the little prince up a tree!”

”Are you saying the little prince was also there?” Song Ci was shocked.

Oh dear, that pair of wild lovebirds is doomed!

They are adults and shouldn’t meddle in such trivial matters, but would the little prince pretend nothing happened after seeing everything?

Nowadays, children are precocious; at eight years old, even if they are ignorant, they should know the difference between men and women, let alone seeing their relatives entangled like that.

This incident is likely to be quickly conveyed to Prince Xin.

”He was there too.” Song Lingzhao said, ”Don’t worry, grandmother. I already reminded him not to rashly question and reveal the matter.”

Song Ci raised an eyebrow: ”Oh? You think it shouldn’t be mentioned?”

Song Lingzhao fell silent, saying, ”I just think that such an occasion is inappropriate. After all, it was during a funeral. If he impulsively reveals this matter in front of people, it might not end well, offending people easily, and inviting disaster.”

Song Ci became interested and said, ”Come, share your thoughts. The occasion wasn’t appropriate, but can it be mentioned later?”

Song Lingzhao didn’t answer, not out of softness, but thinking, if he were Xia Qie, encountering this situation, what would he do?

He didn’t quite understand.

Song Lingzhao stammered, unable to articulate his thoughts, and under Song Ci’s encouraging gaze, he awkwardly chuckled, ”Grandmother, I’m not as smart as A-Jie, please don’t make it difficult for me. I don’t know what to do.”

”Who says you’re not smart? Since you reminded that kid not to question on the spot, you know how to read the situation and speak accordingly. Don’t underestimate yourself. A-Jie might be scheming, but you are straightforward, rarely involving yourself in calculations, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t smart. You don’t understand, only because you’re not in the habit of conniving.”

Song Lingzhao blushed from the praise, scratched his head, and said, ”Grandmother, am I really as good as you say?”

”Of course, everyone has their shining points, and you do too, so don’t compare with others. A-Jie also has aspects not as good as yours, such as physical ability.” Song Ci, as a heartwarming grandmother, offered one piece of motivational advice after another, making the somewhat dense youngster feel delighted.

”That’s right, he just can’t fight as well as I can.”

Song Ci smiled gently, ”So don’t call yourself stupid. If you don’t understand something, you can always put yourself in someone else’s shoes and think, if it were you, what would you do?”

”I don’t know, I’d probably talk to the person I trust most. If I were him, I’d probably talk to Prince Xin because he certainly wouldn’t harm him,” said Song Lingzhao.

Song Ci nodded with a smile, ”That’s right. If you can’t solve it yourself, you should ask an adult for help, someone you are close to and trust. But then again, once this matter is brought up, that Wang woman might be finished. Would you still mention it? ”
