Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

”Hmm! Sister Huan, I understand, I get it, it’s just that I have no appetite, that’s all, but I will take good care of myself!” Xia Qingqian nodded heavily, a tear dropping into the bowl. She sniffed, thinking to pick up the bowl to eat, but Sister Huan took the bowl from her hand and said, ”Look at you crying like a little flower cat, with tears dropping into the bowl, you’re still going to eat? Let me get you a clean bowl.”

Xia Qingqian smiled without saying a word, watching Sister Huan bring her a new bowl. She took it and said, ”Thanks, this ginger pig trotters smell really nice! I’ve never eaten this before, but sometimes at home, I’d smell this scent, it’s so tempting...”

”Eat more, it’s good for your health!” Sister Huan, seeing her finally willing to eat, felt relieved.

At this moment, the door was pushed open. Sister Huan quickly got up from the bed and said to the newcomer, ”Young Master!”

The person who came in was precisely Beitang Yao. He nodded as a response to Sister Huan. From the moment he entered, his gaze had been fixed on Xia Qingqian. Seeing her able to eat made him immensely happy, and he said, ”Qian Qian, is it tasty?”

Xia Qingqian looked up, gave Beitang Yao a smile, and replied, ”Hmm, everything Sister Huan makes is tasty.”

”That’s good to hear!” Beitang Yao secretly let out a sigh of relief, feeling the heavy weight in his heart lifted. He walked over, took her bowl, refilled it, sat by the bed, and personally fed her, ”Eat more, okay? You’ve barely eaten today, aren’t you hungry now?”

If she refused to eat now, he really would go crazy!

Her body was so weak, how could she not eat more nutritious food? It’s not like he couldn’t afford these luxurious items! Even if he needed some miraculous medicine to make her eat, he would find a way to get it!

Xia Qingqian lowered her head in embarrassment. Every time Beitang Yao served her food, she felt a bit guilty, caring more for him. She always caused him so much trouble, yet he stayed by her side, taking care of her...

”Sister Huan, go make some nutritious porridge,” Beitang Yao gently breathed out and then, getting the temperature-just-right ginger pig trotters to her lips, said, ”Since you’ve thought it through, you should eat more, come on, open your mouth.”

Sister Huan watched from the side, a smile reaching the corners of her eyes, saying okay repeatedly, then she turned around and went out to make millet porridge as the young master had instructed.

Xia Qingqian was very obedient, slightly opening her mouth, taking in the sauce on the spoon.

”Don’t move...” Beitang Yao suddenly put down the bowl in his hand, leaned closer to her, one hand holding the back of her head, saying, ”You’ve got some sauce on the corner of your mouth.”

On hearing this, she immediately felt embarrassed, reaching up to touch the side of her mouth, saying, ”Where?”

”Here...” Beitang Yao chuckled, leaning in to kiss the corner of her right mouth, kissing away the sauce there.

Xia Qingqian was so startled by his action that her eyes widened. She thought this would dirty him! She hurriedly reached out to push him away, nervously saying, ”Young Master, you’ll get dirty!”

Beitang Yao didn’t mind her, but instead moved his thin lips closer, gently lingering on her soft lips, and only then did he let her go, saying, ”All done.”

She immediately felt like her face was on fire, burning hot! Lowering her head, she softly called him, ”Young Master...”
