Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Xia Qingqian hurriedly took the water, and before she could drink it, she let out an incredibly loud burp out of nowhere, scaring herself to the point her hands trembled while holding the cup, nearly spilling the water.

”Let me.” Beitang Yao frowned as he looked at her, took the cup from her hand, held the back of her head with one hand, and then slowly brought the cup to her lips, letting her drink the water slowly, ”Take a big sip, and then swallow it.”

She drank more than half in one gulp, then swallowed as he instructed, and it seemed to work. She then let go and said to him, ”Thank you!”

”In the future, don’t meddle so much, understand? My matters don’t need your interference, just do your own part well.” He reached out to ruffle her hair and said softly.

She twitched her lips, forced a smile, and nodded, ”Okay.”

As the saying goes, disaster comes from the mouth, and Xia Qingqian had indeed learned this lesson.

For some reason, Xia Qingqian’s heart was filled with a strange emotion. Even though Beitang Yao didn’t allow her to do so, she still hoped that he could reconcile with his family and not make their relationship so rigid.

But what could she say?

He didn’t need her meddling at all!

In his eyes, no matter how reasonable her words were, it was still meddling.

”If you have nothing to do, play chess with Huan or grandfather, don’t worry about my affairs, understand?” Beitang Yao knew his words were a bit harsh and now softened his voice as he spoke to her.

”I don’t need you to make pastries for me to eat, nor do I need you to learn how to do so. These are kitchen matters. I want you as my woman, not as a servant.” He said calmly, but just thinking about her spending time with Young Master Che these days made his heart feel a different way.

He had to admit that this woman undeniably had a charm that captivated him!

”Okay.” Xia Qingqian nodded, afraid to say another word, fearing that everything she said was wrong.

”Why aren’t you talking?” Beitang Yao was not used to her silence, and whenever she went silent, it made him anxious.

Had his words been too hurtful?

But it wasn’t entirely his fault, as this little woman unknowingly managed to provoke him.

”I have nothing left to say.” Xia Qingqian awkwardly smiled, shook her head, and said, not knowing how to face him at that moment.

”Are you afraid of me?” Beitang Yao voiced his doubt. If he remembered correctly, she had shown fear towards him from the very beginning. From his many years of experience, that fear was definitely genuine.

Xia Qingqian looked up at Beitang Yao, bewildered, and asked, ”Why would you ask that?”

”Just say it, is it true or not?” Beitang Yao’s face felt slightly warm. Faced with her question, he found himself at a loss for words.

She nodded and then shook her head...

”What does your nodding and shaking mean?” He was a bit anxious, his large hand tightening slightly, ”Are you stupid?”

Xia Qingqian felt a rush of tears, her nose tingled, her eyes reddened, and she said in a low voice, ”Young Master, you are truly overbearing. Even if you bought me with money, I still have my own feelings. You cannot control my life.”

”Are you talking about that so-called Young Master Che? You’re learning pastry because of me, or is it that you want to see him?” Beitang Yao’s anger surged as soon as he heard her mention Young Master from her mouth. He still preferred her to call his name rather than Young Master.
