Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

”...Thank you...” These two words rolled in her throat; after a while, she finally plucked up the courage to say them.

”In the future, don’t challenge my boundaries, understand? Just do your part obediently, and I won’t mistreat you.” Beitang Yao held the towel in his hand and gently tucked the loose strands of hair behind her ear, speaking softly.

At the mention of this matter, Xia Qingqian lowered her head further, nodding gently, ”I understand.”

She didn’t even know where she got the courage from, daring to yell such words at him!

Now thinking back, she felt a chill down her spine, wondering why he didn’t get angry at her. Speaking to him like that, he ought to be mad; why would he still come over and patiently teach her to play ball?

”Why are you still standing there? Enjoying the breeze?” Beitang Yao had already mounted the golf cart and said to Xia Qingqian, then drove the cart in front of her, ”Get in.”

His tone was so assertive, leaving no room for doubt!

Xia Qingqian nodded and glanced at the golf course before getting into the car, but did not see Beitang Huan’s figure. Once in the car, she asked softly, ”Young Master Yao, Huan is missing...”

”She’s such a big person; she won’t just go missing.” Beitang Yao, seeing her settled, drove the cart away, ”Why are you so worried about her?”

This made Beitang Yao a bit jealous; after arguing with him, she didn’t seek him out. He thought she shouldn’t care for him as much as she cared for Beitang Huan, right?

”Oh...” Xia Qingqian lowered her head again, murmuring softly.

She didn’t know what expression to face him with, only silence and more silence.

”Are you sulking with me?” Beitang Yao glanced at Xia Qingqian indifferently, frowned, and asked.

”I don’t have the capability to sulk at you.” She said in a low voice, her small hands tugging at the edge of her pants.

Beitang Yao detected her displeasure, and laughed, ”Really not?”

”What do you mean?” Xia Qingqian felt a bit uneasy under his gaze, looked over, ”I really am not sulking at you, you’re overthinking.”

”Then why are you so unhappy? If you’re not angry with me, then what’s the reason?” Beitang Yao shifted his gaze ahead and drove the car around the golf course twice, ”Do you take everything I say to you as empty words? Didn’t I tell you not to go anywhere but stay in my villa? You’re just being disobedient, trying to provoke me, aren’t you?”

”I didn’t!” Xia Qingqian hurriedly explained herself; how could she forget every word he said? She came here because of Beitang Huan.

”Smile!” Beitang Yao knew this little woman couldn’t be scared; once scared, she got nervous as if someone would harm her!

Xia Qingqian was momentarily dumbfounded; she felt Beitang Yao was somewhat problematic. He arrived, confusing her, and now he demands that she smile? Is he out of his mind?

”I asked you to smile, didn’t you hear?” Beitang Yao was obviously a bit displeased, wondering why this woman was always so silly, even slower than most people?

”Hehe...” Xia Qingqian let out a forced laugh twice, barely tugging at the corners of her mouth; even she felt her smile was extremely awkward.

”Can’t you smile a little less ugly!” Beitang Yao tossed her this line bluntly!

Xia Qingqian’s mouth twitched several times before regaining her breath, saying, ”You were the one who asked me to smile...”
