Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

”I know.” He said lightly, knowing with just a knee-jerk reaction that this was her first goal.

Xia Qingqian’s originally flushed face instantly turned redder in embarrassment. Does he also think she’s really stupid?

”Come here, I’ll teach you how to exert force.” Beitang Yao pulled her over, encircling her in front of his chest. His hot large hands covered her delicate little hands, teaching her hand in hand how to exert force and how to play so the ball can go into the hoop!

Beitang Yao taught Xia Qingqian very patiently, not annoyed at all. This was probably compensation for yelling at her earlier; he knew she must not have felt good about it!

Xia Qingqian’s energy was already exhausted, but when Beitang Yao taught her hand in hand, she was filled with energy. Under his guidance, out of ten balls, she could score four or five, which was a pretty decent result.

She practiced more and more enthusiastically, even forgetting her fatigue, until the sun set. Beitang Yao walked over and said to her, ”Not leaving yet? Do you expect them to keep picking up the balls without any rest?”

Beitang Yao tilted his chin, signaling Xia Qingqian to look at the servants in the distance who were picking up balls.

Xia Qingqian stuck out her tongue and said, ”Okay.”

She carefully glanced at Beitang Yao, noticing that the bangs on his forehead were also damp with sweat, and she felt a pang of sympathy for him.

She picked up a towel and a bottle of water, thinking that Beitang Yao might still be mad at her, so she offered the towel and water obsequiously, ”Young Master, water and towel!”

Beitang Yao merely glanced at the items in her hand, then took the bottled water, unscrewed the cap, and drank a couple of big gulps.

As he tilted his head back to drink the water, Xia Qingqian was mesmerized. She never knew that people could still look this handsome while sweating. A drop of sweat fell from his cheek, and in the soft yellow afterglow, it scattered on his body, gilding him with a layer of gold dust, making him appear as dazzling and striking as a Greek god.

”What are you looking at?” Beitang Yao raised an eyebrow, handing the water bottle to Xia Qingqian, feeling a bit displeased with her but at the same time a warm current flowed within him. The way this woman looked at him proved that he still occupied her mind.

Xia Qingqian’s mouth twitched slightly as she nervously accepted the water bottle he handed over and offered him the clean wrapped towel, ”Young Master, towel.”

”Help me wipe.” Beitang Yao moved his whole body closer to her, bent down, and said softly, curving his lips into an attractive arc, successfully concealing his joy.

Her hand paused, she suddenly looked up, dazed at the man before her. Did he really just say that?

”I said, help me wipe my sweat. Since I taught you, you should at least show some appreciation, right?” Beitang Yao didn’t miss the doubt in her eyes and patiently repeated his words, knowing she must have thought she misheard him.

This time, Xia Qingqian was sure she wasn’t hallucinating, so she picked up the towel and gently wiped Beitang Yao. Her movements were very gentle, as if afraid of hurting him.

Throughout the process, Xia Qingqian didn’t dare to breathe too loudly. Her breathing was very cautious. She could feel his fresh breath spraying on her face, causing her body to shiver unaccountably, even halting her hand movements!

Xia Qingqian met his burning and profound black eyes, wanting to withdraw her hand, but he held her slender wrist tightly. She looked at him somewhat puzzled.

”You’re sweating a lot too, let me wipe it for you...” Beitang Yao said, taking the towel from her shoulder and gently wiping for her. His elegant actions made Xia Qingqian’s small heart tremble uncontrollably.
