Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

”But that’s a kind of entertainment too! Don’t box yourself in so much!” Beitang Huan finished speaking, then demonstrated once more. ”Follow my movements, let me see you do it.”

Xia Qingqian did as Beitang Huan instructed, but it was never ideal; the few balls she swung all went nowhere!

”Aiyo! If only someone could teach you hand-in-hand!” Beitang Huan set the club down on the ground, sat cross-legged, grabbed a bottle of water and gulped it down.

”Huan, then maybe I should just stop learning. I don’t even like this kind of thing anyway.” Xia Qingqian softly tried to ask Beitang Huan’s opinion. She was just about to sit down and rest when Beitang Huan roared, ”How can you stop now? Brother Yao likes women who can play golf. You really don’t want to learn? You’ve already made Brother Yao mad—don’t you want to cheer him up a bit?”

Xia Qingqian lightly furrowed her brows and gave a helpless smile. ”Fine! I’ll go practice right now...”

Compared to Xia Qingqian’s hard work, Beitang Yao’s mood wasn’t much better. He stood in the bedroom, pacing back and forth, Xia Qingqian’s tear-streaked face and all those irritating words constantly replaying in his mind!

This damn woman who burns his heart and claws at his lungs!

He opened the door, only to see Sister Huan wiping an antique vase with a rag. The moment she saw the Young Master’s dark, gloomy face full of black lines, she quickly lowered her head and said, ”Young Master!”

”Where did she go?” Beitang Yao swept a glance around and asked.

”Miss Huan took Miss Qing Qian to the golf course...” Sister Huan said softly, while muttering in her heart that the Young Master and Miss Qing Qian really were a pair of fated enemies: they were just arguing fiercely a moment ago, and now the Young Master can’t help but go make up with Miss Qing Qian?

”Pass a message to Ye Feng, tell them all to go back. If there’s nothing important, don’t come and disturb us.” After Beitang Yao finished, he turned and headed toward the golf course.

On the golf course, Xia Qingqian was focused on practicing, so much so that she didn’t even notice someone approaching from afar.

”This idiot, she doesn’t even know how to hit a ball!” The moment Beitang Yao got out of the car, he looked at the girl in the distance with her improper movements and spoke.

The sudden voice startled Beitang Huan, who quickly turned her head. Seeing that it was Beitang Yao, she said, ”Brother Yao? Why are you here?”

”Be quiet! All of you, step back.” Beitang Yao said, his brows knitted, then walked closer to Xia Qingqian. He reached out, wrapped his hands around her slender ones from behind, and his low, rich, magnetic voice sounded right by her ear: ”If you hit like this, you’ll never learn.”

Xia Qingqian’s body jolted, her grip on the club loosening a little. Hearing that familiar voice, she lowered her head, wanting to break free from his embrace. She was drenched in sweat right now; with him standing so close, she’d definitely dirty him!

”Don’t move.” Beitang Yao turned his head toward her right shoulder, his gaze dropping to her face. Seeing the fine beads of sweat on her skin, a trace of pity stirred in his heart. ”It’s not about smashing the ball out in one go. You need to build up to it, swing lightly, and only at the end do you send the ball out.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the ball was struck out by the two of them together. Xia Qingqian’s gaze remained locked on that little white ball. She held her breath, and when she saw it land, then slowly roll forward, her breathing grew more and more tense!

Only when that little ball slid into the small hole did she finally relax! She let out a deep breath, turned around, and saw Beitang Yao looking her over with a kind of expression she couldn’t read. Feeling a bit embarrassed, she quickly lowered her head and said, ”Thank you. That’s the only ball I managed to get in...”

Would he think she’s really stupid for saying that?

Thinking of this, she suddenly felt a little anxious.
