Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

”Qing Qian?” Beitang Che called out her name, ”Sure enough, this one rolls off the tongue better. What kind of confectionery would you like to learn? I can teach you everything, anything you wish to make, I can teach you.”

”Something simple will do, I can’t comprehend things that are too international,” Xia Qingqian said with a smile.

”Haha, is Qing Qian joking?” Beitang Che asked with a chuckle, his gaze lingering on Xia Qingqian, ”Qing Qian, eat more, these pastries have very little fat, you won’t gain weight even if you eat a lot. You and Huan should eat more, else it would really be a waste of my effort today.”

As he spoke, his gaze shifted to the elderly man, and he said with a smile, ”It’s grandpa who had the butler call me over, to personally make some pastries for you to have with afternoon tea.”

Saying that, he stood up and respectfully filled the elderly man’s empty cup with flower tea, ”This flower tea is fresh too, the taste is very sweet and fragrant.”

”Che also mentioned that this flower tea is good for beauty treatments, it’s truly suitable for you young ladies, drink a few more cups, and when you go back, bring a couple of packs for Yao to try,” the old man nodded with a smile. Though in his heart he doted on Beitang Yao the most, he also liked the grandson in front of him, considerate and understanding, not noisy or troublesome, he was very fond of him.

”Grandpa, why aren’t you eating more? We’re all stuffed!” Beitang Huan patted her belly, which was bulging, indicating she was really full, and kept complaining: ”Brother Che, if I really get fat, you’re the one to blame!”

She didn’t believe the notion that pastries have high calories and fat!

”Haha, Huan, didn’t I just tell you all that you won’t gain weight? Besides, eating a few more pieces won’t make a difference, drink more tea and you’ll be fine,” Beitang Che said with confidence in his creations!

”Most people like to boast about their own goods,” Beitang Huan took a sip of flower tea and playfully stuck her tongue out at Beitang Che.

”Just a kid,” Beitang Che said lightly, then shook his head and added, ”Qing Qian, that’s how Huan is, I really wonder how you two became good friends?”

”Haha! Brother Che, there are plenty of things you don’t know! In my life, apart from Qian Qian, I truly have no other genuine friends!” Beitang Huan grasped the crystal glass in her hand, still warm, ”Brother Che, these between me and Qian Qian aren’t much, it’s the romance between Qian Qian and Brother Yao that’s truly earth-shattering!”

Beitang Huan inadvertently caught Beitang Che occasionally glancing at Xia Qingqian, that gleam seemed like a man looking at a woman!

”Oh, what’s this about?” Grandpa paused in his tea drinking, his understanding of the matters between Xia Qingqian and Beitang Yao was ambiguous, not knowing the actual situation.

Beitang Che, being sharp-eyed, understood Beitang Huan’s words were a reminder, indicating whose woman Xia Qingqian was.

In this family, who is the true decision-maker!

Beitang Che was never unaware of these!

No matter who it is, in this family, no one can rival Beitang Yao, because once upon a time the Beitang Family was in decline, and later it rose again due to the influence from Beitang Yao’s mother’s side, before Beitang Yao’s parents got married, they promised that if the Beitang Family were to rise again, then everything belonging to the Beitang Family in the future would be their children’s!
