Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

She saw him just holding the wine without speaking, put down the wine glass in his hand, then cradled the back of her head, pulled her closer, and leaned in to her lips, passing the wine from his mouth into hers, along with kissing her.

”Let me teach you how to taste red wine.” After transferring the entire mouthful of red wine into her mouth, he responded to her earlier question.

Xia Qingqian’s eyes widened, caught off guard by the way he kissed her, and when she finally reacted, her whole face turned crimson! Instinctively, she reached out to push him away, but his hands tightly held her, making it impossible for her to exert any strength.

He pushed all the wine into her throat, letting her swallow it slowly. The taste of the wine wasn’t as strong as it was before, instead, it carried a hint of sweetness, a feeling she couldn’t quite describe.

After kissing her for a while, Beitang Yao finally released her.

When he released her, he clearly saw some wine dripping down the corner of her mouth. He suddenly couldn’t resist leaning forward, kissing the wine traces at the corner of her lips, mouth to mouth, he asked, ”How’s the taste like this, is it a bit better?”

Xia Qingqian followed his voice, nodding quickly. His voice also carried a hint of intoxicating flavor, somewhat enticing, leaving her a little flustered.

”Yao, do you teach others how to taste wine like this?” Xia Qingqian’s voice carried jealousy, sounding sour, even the air was filled with a sense of acidity.

Beitang Yao chuckled, then leaned in again, softly saying, ”I only teach you to taste wine this way; this is my exclusive method.” His voice was rich and magnetic, captivating.

Xia Qingqian’s face flushed, her body pressed against the bar counter. She put her hand on his chest, trying to refuse him, but his gentle kisses made her helplessly sink in.

Beitang Yao kissed her for a while before finally releasing her, carrying her to the dining table, uncovering the cover over the two of them, the candlelight in the middle of the table flickered, as if dancing.

Inside the room, besides the faint light, everything was dark, only the candlelight illuminated the surroundings.

Floor-to-ceiling windows and all light-transmitting places were covered in black, making it seem like night time.

”Yao, is this a candlelit dinner? It’s broad daylight now, why didn’t you wait until evening?” Xia Qingqian chuckled softly, looking at all the arrangements, feeling touched. Seeing how hard he’d worked outside for so long, returning without rest and quickly diving into romance with her.

She couldn’t help but feel concerned for him; she took his hand, letting him sit down, her hands gently caressing his cheeks, speaking with concern, ”Yao, you’ve lost weight, is work very exhausting? Have you been eating regularly?”

She felt like everything she was asking was pointless; he was up so late last night, of course it was tiring, and of course, he didn’t eat on time regularly.

”Is that so?” In these three days, he treated two days’ worth of work as one, naturally leaving no time for rest or meals.

The reason for doing so was none other than wanting to return early to see her, to be with her.

He never realized that missing someone could change everything he thought. Back then, thinking of her while speeding up, finishing all his work, he would then go to find Ye Chenfeng.

”Hmm, there’s also a faint layer of fatigue between your brows. Yao, please don’t push yourself so hard, alright? If you continue like this for a long time, your body won’t be able to handle it.” Xia Qingqian’s hands resting on his face were tightly held by him, pulled to his lips, looking at her with burning eyes as he kissed the back of her hand.
