I AM the Football Star

Zidane: ”Why are you bragging about being a hitman for someone else?”

Lu Yang: ”None of your business! I have my own ideas.”

Zidane: ”I know what you’re thinking.”

Lu Yang: ”You know nothing!”

Zidane: ”Don’t underestimate heroes everywhere. Our era was also full of stars, and the competition was fierce, no less than your era. I also considered taking risks, otherwise, why would I be deeply entrenched in the Real Madrid quagmire?”

Lu Yang had a realization.

Indeed.

Zidane actually did the same thing Lu Yang is doing now.

With very brutal and ruthless methods.

Yet it was a straightforward open strategy.

It’s all about... the winner is king, seizing fate!

Zidane, Lima, Moreira, Ancelotti, Carrel, Perrotta, Praxedes, Audi... that era had countless stars.

However, those truly reaching the pinnacle were only Zidane, Lima, and Moreira.

Among them, Zidane and Lima were initially slightly ahead of Moreira.

But then...

After joining Real Madrid, Zidane and Lima couldn’t bring the expected numerous championships to Real Madrid.

Although they won the Champions League, La Liga, King’s Cup, etc., the quantity was insufficient.

Therefore, Zidane and Lima both suffered, and Moreira caught up.

However, Moreira’s luck also failed him, facing a transition of eras and missing the opportunity.

So, in the previous era before Lu Yang, there were countless superstars, several kings, but none who could dominate the era as the king of kings!

This left endless opportunities for players in Lu Yang’s era.

Among them, it’s highly likely to birth a superstar who could dominate two eras of sparkling stars simultaneously.

Furthermore... due to the era’s vacancy, it might support not just one such superstar, but two, or even three!

So what did Zidane do?

He knew Lima was destined to join Real Madrid, so he joined Real Madrid a year earlier to prepare to ”sniper” Lima!

To football players, sometimes your greatest enemy is not your opponent, but your teammate.

Neymar, Suarez, Iniesta, Harvey could never win the Golden Ball Award, because Barça has Messi.

Benzema, Bell, Modric would never have won the Golden Ball Award, because Real Madrid has C Luo.

Of course, many of these players are good friends, but the truth is cruel.

Defeating a star is the best way to plunder their fans, influence, and honors.

The more times you defeat them, the more you plunder.

This defeat is categorized as direct defeat and indirect defeat.

Direct defeat is rivalry.

Indirect defeat is when we are on the same team, but I perform much better than you, so the credit mainly goes to me.

After Lima joined Real Madrid, Lima’s fans and influence were also absorbed into Real Madrid’s big pool.

If Zidane could perform better than Lima on Real Madrid’s path to success, then Lima’s fans would be plundered by him.

This is what seizing fate is all about!

Top football players can only advance through such methods.

Because at their level, the fans who should know about them already do, and if they don’t like you, they simply don’t like you, no matter how amazing you are.

But if you can defeat their idols, then they have a chance to become your fans.

This is the war of the kings!

But Zidane failed.

For one thing, Lima indeed was formidable, and at Real Madrid, Zidane and Lima were equally matched, both often performing well.

For another, Real Madrid had too many superstars, and everyone wanted to plunder each other’s fate, resulting in team results not satisfying the public.

You need a divine status, only then can everyone compete and divide.

Without divine status, naturally, no one has a chance.

This is what Zidane did.

Additionally, someone had done this before him.

There are successful ones, and failed ones.

History continually repeats.

Now… it’s time for Lu Yang to take this step.

This time, much earlier than Zidane anticipated.

Moreover, according to Zidane’s judgment, Lu Yang has not reached the point where he must take the ”same-team plunder” route.

He could totally join other wealthy teams without superstars, accumulate by defeating opponents. When there is no other way, then take the same-team plunder route.

Because same-team plunder is extremely difficult to operate, one careless move, and it becomes irreparable.

Zidane’s case was considered good.

Each transfer for top players is an enormous risk. If they don’t gain enough benefits, they lose.

Not to mention transferring to a team that already has an established system and recognized leader.

Why did Zidane come to Real Madrid back then?

Because he worried Lima would join Real Madrid first, rendering him passive! So he went a year early to prepare!

Why did Lima want to go to Real Madrid?

Because Zidane had only been there for a year, the foundation was still unstable, so Lima still had a chance. Moreover, that year Zidane’s team performance wasn’t particularly great, so Lima had confidence to surpass Zidane.

In the end, both of them miscalculated.

Now you, Lu Yang want to go to Barça to compete with Mateo on the same team, your starting point is one to nine!

What winning odds are there?

Moreover, back then Real Madrid wasn’t even strong enough to establish a divine status.

Now Barça is in an even lower valley than Real Madrid was back then, even if you lift Barça up, it will certainly not lead to a divine status.

Lu Yang’s method is advanced, but the route is too risky.

And the success rate is almost none.

The key point is, it’s unnecessary.

Clearly there’s a more secure way to advance.
