Beast Taming: I Can Add Points

SWOOSH! SWOOSH!

With a flick of his long tail, Hai Ri sent a current of water shooting like an arrow through the layered curtains of water, straight toward Yu Bao.

Su Zhi’s eyes sharpened. He quickly recognized the skill: High-pressure Water Gun. This was what it looked like when used underwater.

Water is much denser than air, creating significantly more resistance. Yet Hai Ri’s High-pressure Water Gun seemed completely unaffected, its power as sharp and fierce as ever.

This was a Tier Three High-pressure Water Gun, perhaps even mid-to-late Tier Three, approaching the peak of Tier Four. While condensing the water for the attack, it also brought the surrounding water into the same state as the strike, eliminating any resistance!

The moment Hai Ri attacked, Su Zhi felt his confidence waver.

’Although Yu Bao has broken through to Two-star, he has no clear advantage against Hai Ri and is even at a disadvantage due to Attribute Suppression. He might have been able to hold his own on land, but this is an aquatic environment. I don’t even know if Yu Bao can use his Skills.’

’This was always just for the experience. I’m not expecting Yu Bao to win, as long as he doesn’t get hurt...’

WHOOSH!

To everyone’s surprise, just as the High-pressure Water Gun was about to strike Yu Bao, a pale yellow Energy Light Array suddenly flared to life.

A Yellow Earth Wall abruptly materialized, taking the full force of the High-pressure Water Gun.

Although the Yellow Earth Wall itself was left riddled with holes, it remained structurally intact, and Yu Bao, behind it, was completely unscathed!

”AWOO?!”

The spectating Fish Dragon Group looked on in shock.

Although the Vast Sea Condensed Pearl allowed humans and Exotic Beasts to move freely underwater, skill activation was another matter entirely.

And yet, Yu Bao had just cast Yellow Earth Wall with unbelievable smoothness, completely unaffected by the aquatic environment...

Even more ridiculously, how was that thing so sturdy? A High-pressure Water Gun couldn’t even shatter it??

”AWOO!” The instant his water gun was blocked, Hai Ri had already closed the distance like a phantom, lunging to attack.

Hai Ri’s eyes were alight with excitement, a fierce battle lust swirling within them. This had nothing to do with his personality; it was the innate instinct of a Storm Fish Dragon, a creature that yearned for battle.

CRACK!

His powerful long tail swept against the Yellow Earth Wall. Having just endured the blast from the High-pressure Water Gun, the wall shattered in an instant. Even the additional Second Floor of the Yellow Earth Wall below it was pierced through.

But Yu Bao was no pushover. While Hai Ri was busy smashing through walls, he had already activated Desert Concealment and dodged to the side.

Even in the water, the grains of sand moved as if they were a part of Yu Bao himself—silky, fluid, and completely unhindered.

Yu Bao looked at the berserk Hai Ri, his heart still pounding with fear.

’Socially anxious? My ass!’

’I’ll be damned if I believe that!’

”AWOO!” Hai Ri was completely immersed in the battle. How could he possibly remember something like social anxiety?

For a long time now, there had been few peers in his clan who could match him. As a result, he had no choice but to spar with the elders or even his father, only to get repeatedly stomped due to the vast difference in strength.

This time, he had finally found an evenly matched opponent.

’He didn’t understand why a Yu Dian Dog would know Yellow Earth Wall... but it didn’t matter. Being strong was all that counted.’

’I yearn for a worthy opponent! Yu Bao, let’s have a battle to our hearts’ content!’

Hai Ri executed an agile turn, using the water to propel himself toward Yu Bao at extreme speed. A layer of cone-shaped white bubbles formed in front of him.

Water Element High Level Elite Skill, Terror Wave Riding Lance!

Yu Bao didn’t even try to block. One look at the attack’s momentum told him he couldn’t possibly take it head-on, so he used Desert Concealment to dodge once more.

And so, one chased, and one fled...

「Pearl Harbor, Purity Abyss Alliance External Affairs Comprehensive Processing Center」

Outside the barrier, reporters with their large cameras and lenses aimed at the center of the circular venue:

Two long tables faced each other. On one side sat the diplomat Beast Tamers, dressed in Alliance Member uniforms and wearing Purity Abyss Alliance Member medals. In the center sat Purity Abyss Alliance Leader You Gu and Grand Alliance Leader Shen Zechuan.

On the other side were the representatives of the Storm Fish Dragon Race, who had all shrunk themselves down to the size of ordinary humans. Han Lan and Chang Xi were seated in the center.

After signing the necessary documents, the leaders of both sides rose together and shook hands.

CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!

The venue instantly erupted in thunderous applause. The reporters, quick on the draw, pressed their camera shutters, capturing this historic moment.

Today, humanity and the Storm Fish Dragon Race had formally established diplomatic relations and formed an alliance. This was the ninety-fourth race to become allies with humanity since the formation of the Common Defense Alliance!

Furthermore, at the behest of the Fish Dragon Race, thirty-three of their vassal races would also successively establish diplomatic relations with humanity.

For humanity, this was undoubtedly a great diplomatic victory worthy of being recorded in the annals of history!

The students of the Beast Taming High Schools were quite lucky. For coastal schools in particular, it was highly likely that future field training courses would open up deep-sea venues, and everyone could bring their Pet Beasts to play in the water. Moreover, once trade routes were established, the prices of many previously rare resources would plummet, allowing everyone to save a fortune.

The luckiest person of all was a certain Instructor Ke.

Given the unique nature of the Storm Fish Dragon Race’s habitat, expatriate Beast Tamers would be deployed on a rotational basis. Ke Yan had become the first rotational Beast Tamer to be dispatched to the Storm Fish Dragon Race.

Ke Yan, who had been miserable on the journey here, was now grinning from ear to ear, currently posing for a photo with a Fish Dragon representative.

Oh? Ke Yan beat up a bunch of Fish Dragons, you say?

No way. They’re all buddies now.

The not-so-lucky ones were the humanities students.

The Boya Alliance was already starting to revise the next editions of the history and political science textbooks. They also announced that oceanic geography, originally an extracurricular subject, would become part of the core curriculum. The poor souls who chose geography were in for a harsh winter... Ahem.

Some grad students were also losing their minds. For example, one guy was already having a meltdown on the forums: his dissertation was on ”The Future Impact on Blue Star’s Geopolitical Landscape Should the Fish Dragon Race Turn to the Abyssal.” But now they’d come to establish diplomatic relations, so how the hell was he supposed to finish his paper now...
