Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 279: Chapter 252: New Members Join, the Powerful Fire Mage Doris

However, after all, this was his first time wearing such a heavy battle helmet, and he was somewhat unaccustomed to it.

The fully enclosed heavy helmet not only restricted his field of vision but also made turning movements and some head movements more laborious. Moreover, as facial expressions were covered, the warriors were unable to gauge his condition and intentions from his expressions.

In critical moments, a single expression or glance often conveyed a wealth of information.

Aside from the aforementioned drawbacks, it had no other issues, and overall, it gave a tremendous sense of security.

Wearing this thing while fighting meant no fear of disfigurement; just go up and use a Radiant Headbutt to show the enemy who’s boss.

After putting on the helmet, Zong Shen turned his head to look at Luna who was accompanying him, along with Favide and Tasuya.

”So, tell me, doesn’t this Lord look handsome with this helmet on?”

Because of the helmet, Zong Shen’s voice sounded muffled.

”Handsome!”

Luna was the first to give a thumbs up, her pretty face smiling, her eyes like crescent moons looking at Zong Shen.

”You are so handsome, my Lord, even the Queen Banshee would probably be enthralled by you!”

”The appearance of the Lord is as radiant as the very first Holy Light in the world!”

Tasuya and Aisha were not to be outdone, each giving flattering remarks.

Only Favide, the straightforward man, wore a cheesy smile and didn’t know what to say for a moment.

”Uh...you are the most handsome man I’ve ever seen...”

Everyone’s words caused Zong Shen to burst into hearty laughter.

The entire exploration atmosphere became much lighter.

At this moment, he still held two Recruitment Scrolls in his hand, and since Zong Shen had a surplus of idle Command Value, he chose to recruit directly.

The two scrolls traced fiery trajectories from his hand, flying out and landing on the open space of the corridor ahead, leaving behind two burning flame magic arrays.

There was a peculiar gleam in Favide’s eyes; these were his comrades, Tier Three Fire Mages!

From now on, he would no longer be the only Fire Mage in the territory.

The flame magic arrays burned fiercely, establishing a connection to a spatial singularity. Flames surged upwards instantly, forming a giant cocoon of fire, then swiftly recede, revealing two figures of varying heights.

They wore mage robes adorned with flame runes, clutching short staffs embedded with small red gemstones, matching the attire Favide once wore, which was standard equipment for Fire Mages.

The two newly recruited Fire Mages, one male and one female, the male stood a head taller than Favide with chestnut long hair draping over his shoulders.

The female Fire Mage possessed flaming red hair that cascaded down her back, her eyes lively as they surveyed the scene quickly, with a faint smile on her face.

Additionally, she bore a Flame Badge on her chest, portraying two flaming fires of varying shades, one darker and one lighter.

Favide and Pax also had this Flame Badge, but theirs depicted only a single lighter flame, which was different from Doris’.

After briefly familiarizing themselves with their surroundings, the two made their way swiftly to Zong Shen, kneeled with one knee, placed their magic staffs against their chests, and saluted Zong Shen.

”In the name of the God of Flames!”

”Fire Mage Doris!”

”Fire Mage Pax!”

”Reporting to you!”

In response, Zong Shen solemnly removed his battle helmet, holding it to his chest.

”Welcome to your new roles. My territory needs excellent mages.”

Zong Shen said simply, and the two rose together.

They stood silently aside, Favide gazing at the red-haired fire mage named Doris with fixation.

His gaze rested unwaveringly on her chest, his expression growing somewhat astonished over time.

Forget etiquette, he leaned over to Zong Shen’s ear and quickly whispered.

”My Lord, this Doris is quite a talent.”

”The badge on our chests is known as the Flame Badge, a certified emblem issued by the Fire Mage Association.”

”One flame represents mastery of three fire spells, with at least one of them being no less than Tier Three; two flames indicate mastery of four spells, with at least two being no less than Tier Three.”

”The pale flame denotes Tier Three magic, while the dark flame indicates Tier Four magic, the darker the color, the higher level of magic mastered.”

”This Doris understands at least four spells, with one each of Tier Three and Four, making her a rare talent among same-tier Fire Mages.”

Favide quickly explained, his tone carrying a tremor of excitement.

Even warriors of the same tier have differences in talents.

Especially among mages, such distinctions are more pronounced, often possessing different types of magic even within the same elemental mages.”

Zong Shen nodded, indicating his understanding, realizing it wasn’t the most polite to whisper in front of the two newcomers.

His gaze swept over Pax and Doris, assessing their attributes.

Pax possessed excellent talent, attributes roughly on par with Favide, with a slightly higher strength by two points.

He mastered a total of three magic skills, including Small Fireball Magic, which was consistent with Favide.

Besides Small Fireball, Pax also had two skills differing from Favide.

[Chain of Burning lv10 (Chanting Time: 3 seconds, Magic Consumption: 50 points, launches a Chain of Burning to bind the enemy’s actions for 5 seconds, the duration of binding fluctuates with the strength value disparity between foe and ally, inflicts 0.3x magic burn damage per second on the enemy during binding, Cooling Time: 35 minutes)
