Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 253: Chapter 239: Departing for the Secret Supply Site, Church Military Rations (Today’s 4,000)

This is one of the previous agreements and arrangements.

As for why Zong Shen is so confident in letting Jiang Yi manage it.

The reason is simple. The legion is basically in a state of poverty.

Zong Shen does not plan to focus on the legion, only temporarily acting as a mascot.

Then many development matters fall on Jiang Yi. When the legion truly develops, Jiang Yi’s contributions will be invaluable, deserving of the Deputy Legion Commander position, so Zong Shen essentially makes a sure profit.

When the legion develops, it will be a win for all. If it doesn’t develop, then everyone will fail together.

Zong Shen only needs to provide rights and trust, with no concern that Jiang Yi would lack motivation or become disloyal. The sense of belonging from developing one’s own legion is entirely different from joining another.

Jiang Yi, as the second member and Deputy Legion Commander, is essentially half a founder of the legion, and these are reasons Zong Shen is willing to trust her.

By getting Jiang Yi on board, they are like a hemp rope twined together, with interests and status driving them. No need to worry she won’t work hard on developing the legion.

Both sides take what they need; Zong Shen requires Jiang Yi to invest energy in managing the legion and also needs her social skills to invite members to join, while he provides military protection and focuses on exploration and growth, without affecting his own strength development.

After initially completing the legion appointments, Zong Shen opened the [Legion Upgrade Conditions] to have a preliminary look and gauge the difficulty of upgrading the legion.

[Legion Upgrade Requirements: Members≥100

Total legion reputation≥10000

Total Tier of legion soldiers≥2500

Iron×1000

Copper×300

Secret silver×80

Basic Elemental Crystals×100

Basic-level Magic Energy Crystals×100]

Zong Shen quietly closed the [Legion Upgrade Conditions]. Judging from the current perspective, the difficulty of these conditions isn’t low. Resource requirements are manageable, but the first few items are challenging.

Just the first condition, Members≥100, requires careful management. Inviting a hundred members isn’t easy. As the territory expands, overlapped territorial ranges between Lords will increase, which is also a potential point of conflict.

There’s also a requirement for total reputation and soldiers’ total Tier, making it clear that legion upgrades are an arduous process. Only by managing the legion to sufficient strength does one qualify to upgrade the legion level.

After investigating, Zong Shen had a general idea, then closed the [Legion] function, and opened private chat to further discuss with Jiang Yi.

He opened [Private Chat], selected [Friend Private Chat], and as soon as he did so, Jiang Yi’s chat window popped up, filled with dozens of unread messages that made Zong Shen a bit overwhelmed.

Jiang Yi was even more impatient and excited than him, not only sending many greetings but also asking numerous questions about legion development.

Zong Shen replied one by one, telling Jiang Yi to recruit as many people as possible, but positions with authority shouldn’t be casually appointed, it must be approved by him.

The current stage is all about finding people; as for character and combat ability, these details can be sorted out later. Take the best and discard the worst!

First, increase the member count, and claim the title of the largest legion in the area, which greatly benefits future development and serves as a deterrence to other legions in the same region.

After the exchange, Zong Shen looked at the time and decided to actively end the conversation.

He offered some encouragement, advised Jiang Yi to develop the territory well, then closed all the pages.

He exhaled a heavy breath and looked at the Exploration Squad resting outside the courtyard waiting for his instructions.

A series of affairs had his head still buzzing; being a Lord isn’t easy!

He closed his eyes, pinched the bridge of his nose to calm his thoughts, and after feeling better, he opened his eyes and clapped his hands at the warriors of the Exploration Squad.

”Gather up!”

”We have an exploration mission at noon!”

”We’re heading to the location where Calamity Raven Church stores those secret resources!”

”We’ll set off in the Burden-Bearer Mecha and arrive before noon.”

”There might not be any battles, but everyone should stay vigilant.”

Zong Shen began announcing the assembly, and members of the Exploration Squad quickly stood up and lined up in front of him while he started assigning today’s mission.

After fully detailing the mission, Zong Shen took out two Burden-Bearer Mechas, letting Favide drive one, and he drove the other. Except for Luna, everyone else sat in the rear cabins of the two Burden-Bearer Mechas.

This time, Zong Shen didn’t additionally bring Wolf Rider Squad One; just visiting the secret resource point should suffice for the Exploration Squad to handle any potential guards.

Ultimately, since it’s a secret resource point, emphasis is on the word ’secret,’ and Calamity Raven Church wouldn’t have heavy guards stationed there, at most one or two church elites, which Zong Shen and the Exploration Squad can definitely handle with ease!

After all preparations were done, Zong Shen activated the Guide Module to enter navigation mode, drove the Burden-Bearer Mecha forward, heading out of the territory. The direction pointed northeast, and seeing this direction made Zong Shen shudder instinctively.

The location indicated seems to be near a mine. Let’s hope the mine hasn’t been discovered.
