Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 254: Chapter 239: Departing for the Secret Supply Point, Church Military Rations (Daily 4000)_2

However, from the distance, he looked at it, it shouldn’t be at the mine, because from the mine to the territory is at least fifty kilometers, hence he deduced the location should be near the ruins of Azshara’s city walls.

Zong Shen drove the Burden-Bearer Mecha while estimating the general location of this secret stash point, and behind him, Favide also drove a Burden-Bearer Mecha, closely following Zong Shen.

Luna rode the Black Panther, patrolling back and forth on both sides of the team for two or three kilometers away from the territory along this direction before seeing the shadow of the Burrow Monster Swarm.

Zong Shen drove the Burden-Bearer Mecha directly to charge and crush through, with two Burden-Bearer Mechas colliding and pressing down, and Luna using the Moon Blade for the finishing blow, a hundred-strong monster swarm could be eliminated in just a few minutes.

Along the way, they directly eliminated small monster swarms, and for large swarms, they used Demon Deterrence to dispel them or detour directly. It took about an hour and ten minutes for Zong Shen to reach the predetermined location of the strategic navigation.

This was the ruins of the city walls of Azshara, with wide wall ruins potentially hiding some secret spaces.

The interiors of these giant walls were basically hollow, serving as walls and turrets, often built with armories, rest rooms, and backup warehouses internally, giving the walls sustained combat capability.

Although the walls have been destroyed, there should still be undestroyed compartments in the basement of these ruins, which are good places for storing secret supplies.

Zong Shen stopped the Burden-Bearer Mecha beside the ruins, gathered the team, stored the two Burden-Bearer Mechas, held the sword in one hand and the shield in the other, and proceeded to the ruins ahead. This stretch of ruins extended for several kilometers.

The ruins were not very flat, with some parts retaining five or six-meter-high walls, some parts collapsed into the ground, and others almost flush with the ground.

The navigation pointed to a section with still five or six-meter-high walls, requiring ascent from a collapsed side.

The entire wall appeared very old and mottled after enduring the ravages of time and war, with pitted surfaces, occasionally bearing faintly discernible rune marks, as if recounting the brutal history of the past.

When Zong Shen and the exploration squad climbed up this section of the wall, they discovered hidden secrets there.

On the fault of the wall, there was a large hole simply covered by wooden planks.

He lifted the wooden planks, revealing a compartment below the hole.

A door inside the compartment clearly led to the interior of the wall, being a part of the old turret.

The entire wall was actually a huge building, internally laid out with abundant functional compartments, and this section still retained some compartments.

Zong Shen took out a Magic Power Flashlight, turned on the second gear brightness, and jumped directly into the hole.

Upon entering the compartment, the whole room was thickly covered by silt and dust, with only a path cleared from the hole to the door.

Without much delay, Zong Shen pushed open the compartment door, revealing a dim and narrow corridor outside, a typical construction inside a turret, not spacious at all.

However, the corridor was relatively clean, with not much silt and dust, evidently remaining mostly closed off. Behind him, warriors started entering the compartment one by one.

Following the arrows’ guidance, the target was not far ahead in the corridor. With the Magic Power Flashlight lighting up the way, the whole corridor appeared shadowy, with warriors following behind him.

Advancing all the way, they quickly reached the end, where there was also a slightly decayed iron gate.

This iron gate was originally a rune gate but was forcibly damaged by someone and now slightly ajar and easy to push open.

The navigation arrow pointed right here, and behind the gate should be the Calamity Raven Church’s secret supply stash.

Zong Shen waved his hand, pointed at the gate, and stepped aside.

A Dragonized Spear and Shield Warrior was placed at the front since the corridor was too narrow, and having a Shield Warrior at the front was more suitable.

At Zong Shen’s instruction, the frontline Gun and Shield Warrior kicked open the door and swiftly advanced.

Behind the gate was a spacious compartment, likely a warehouse set within the turret.

Everyone, including Zong Shen, quickly entered inside to gather, as only by assembling could they form combat power.

Zong Shen directly adjusted the Magic Power Flashlight to the third gear, instantly illuminating the entire storeroom.

The storeroom’s area was considerable for a tower, a rectangular shape with several hundred square meters.

To Zong Shen’s surprise, there was no one guarding here, only fifty or sixty supply boxes stacked along one wall.

Not sure if the Calamity Raven Church was overly cautious or too confident in this secret point, but there wasn’t even a single guard. Their heart, their heart is too big!

”Is there something like a trap here?”

(There are no traps here, as this is a secret point, supplies are secondary, the secret is primary. Too frequent personnel access is the biggest flaw, and the most important point is that the Calamity Raven Church people did not believe the location of this point would be disclosed.)

After seeing the strategy hint, Zong Shen was relieved and began to calmly check those supply boxes.

Casually opening the lid of one supply box, inside were sealed small wooden barrels, Zong Shen tapped open a barrel to find it piled with round wheat cakes, which appeared to be their military rations.

The cakes looked dry and tenacious, reminiscent of pancakes, with some yellow wheat bran mixed on the surface, resembling coarse grain pancakes from Earth.

[Crude Wheat Cake]

[Restores Hunger Level 50 points]

[Storage Period: 210 days]

Each wooden barrel contained 30 servings of wheat cakes, and a supply box held ten barrels. These barrels, like wine barrels, were relatively sealed, with a layer of wax on the lid, creating a canned feeling to extend the storage period of the wheat cakes.

There were a total of 15 boxes of these wheat cake supply boxes, making a total of 4500 servings, which serve as a decent staple food with high hunger level recovery, although eating too many might possibly cause constipation.

After collecting all these supply boxes into the storage grid, Zong Shen began inspecting the other supply boxes.

In the second supply box were similarly wax-sealed wooden barrels, still ten per box, and Zong Shen opened one to find dried, red jerky strips inside, each as thick as a thumb and thirty centimeters long.

Evidently another part of the Calamity Raven Corps’ military rations, each barrel contained 30 strips of jerky.

[Crude Dried Beef]

[Restores Hunger Level 55]

[Storage Period: 180 days]

Zong Shen organized these, finding a total of 10 boxes of dried beef, 3000 servings in total, both types having long storage periods, enough for 6 to 7 months without opening the barrels.

They could serve as emergency military rations or be diced and simmered in a pot, an excellent reserve at least not easily perishable like fresh food.

Now thirty supply boxes remained, containing, presumably, some frontline combat supplies or materials for construction and towers.

This part of the supply boxes was what Zong Shen was most anticipating. There were many ways to acquire food, but genuine combat supplies were hard to come by, especially specialized combat armaments, largely rare materials difficult to purchase.

This had significant value for Zong Shen’s territory construction and defense.

Zong Shen rubbed his hands in anticipation, hoping these supply boxes would bring some surprises.

With slight anticipation, he randomly opened one from the remaining supply boxes.
