The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After separating from Saber, Kaito, with Ilya and Berserker behind her, quickly used his ability to teleport to near Ryuudou Temple, located in Mount Enzou. Naturally, as part of the preparation for the holy grail war, Kaito didn’t forget to visit important places so he could directly teleport to them whenever he could.

”Ilya, we’ve arrived.”

”Woah...”

Realizing that those around the restaurant were now at the foot of Ryuudou Hill, Ilya looked at Kaito in surprise. Although she already knew Kaito could teleport, she didn’t know that he could bring others or even travel this far at all.

”Big brother, you can teleport so far! How far can you teleport, big brother?”

”I don’t know. Last time I tested, I could teleport from one country to another.”

Kaito’s last attempt at teleportation was, of course, when he tried to save Uta and Misaka in Kumo, and the distance traveled was probably hundreds of kilometers.

...

”As expected, Caster has prepared for my arrival.”

Kaito muttered, looking at the temple surrounded by a giant transparent barrier, with the center in the middle. Kaito was glad that he decided not to teleport directly inside the temple, otherwise he would get affected by the barrier like what happened in the church earlier at noon.

Although he was still curious how Kirei managed to erect such a barrier, he has no doubt Medea was able to replica this holy barrier from church since she is a genius magician from the age of gods.

”Big brother, this is a barrier?”

”Yeah, and I can feel that this is also a barrier with a holy attribute, the same as the barrier I saw in the church earlier.”

”Can you break through this, Big Brother? Do you need my help?” Ilya offered.

”No need.” Kaito declined and replied confidently, ”I can handle this easily.”

Unlike his clone who couldn’t replicate 10% of Imagine Breaker’s capabilities, the original had no problem using his right hand-- even to infuse Imagine Breaker’s aura into other techniques he had.

To prove what he said, Kaito then walked over to her and thrust his right hand into the barrier. Instantly, the giant barrier structure collapsed with the sound of glass breaking, and this shocked Ilya again.

...!!

*Crash*

Of course, Kaito knew this action would definitely alert Caster to his presence, but teleporting inside the barrier directly was not an option because his body would be affected if he did that, just like his clone had experienced in the church.

”Let’s walk inside, Ilya.” Kaito invited and then warned, ”Prepare to fight because another servant may guard the gate.”

”Okay, Big Brother!”

Ilya nodded and followed Kaito slowly from behind. However, when Kaito and Ilya arrived at the temple gate, no Assassin was guarding the gate like Kaito expected earlier.

”Huh? No one here.”

Seeing Kaito acting strangely, Ilya asked, ”There’s no servant here, big brother?”

”Something’s different... I don’t know if this is a good thing or not.”

”???”

Didn’t Caster summon Musashi as an Assassin in the original? Then who is the holder of the Assassin class in this 5th Holy Grail War? This made Kaito wonder, although a moment later he would find out the answer to this question in his mind.

”Forget it.” Kaito shook his head and determined, ”Let’s meet Caster.”

Using Observation Haki, Kaito quickly scanned the temple area and found Caster along with many summon creatures surrounding him. Still no Assassin, but he found Caster had been waiting for his arrival and decided to focus on her first.

”Umm!”

Continuing to walk, they arrived at the large temple courtyard, where Caster, a woman wearing a hooded bluish-purple robe stood calmly in front of the temple. Not only that, there are also many weird dark creatures surrounding them, clearly waiting for their arrival.

Seeing this, Ilya became alert and immediately summoned Berserker from astral form, and Kaito was also ready to summon Est from the Gate of Babylon again—which he had been put in there earlier.

”Welcome to Ryuudou Temple.” Caster greeted Kaito and Ilya with a relaxed attitude, ”Master from the Einzbern family and you, the blonde kid must be the Servants of the dark creatures that the priest reminded us of last night.”

”Caster...” Kaito looked into her eyes seriously, ”Or should I call you Medea, The witch of Betrayal.”

...!!!

”No wonder the priest warned us about you.” Medea muttered with a vigilant tone, ”The ability to destroy barriers and see other people’s identities... you seem like a very troublesome servant.”

”You are not wrong about that.”

Kaito did not answer Medea’s idea, and immediately warned and offered her a deal, ”Caster, If you are willing to surrender, I promise you will get a real body when this holy grail war ends.”

Considering the system’s help was out of the question and he still had to save Sakura later (especially Sakura), Kaito knew that only Medea could help him with her knowledge to dissect and operate on both of them.

While Kaito could use Imagine Breaker by force on Sakura, he felt that it would also risk them losing their magic circuits and was not the best option.

Unfortunately, Medea seems even become more wary of him and even orders all of her summoned creatures to prepare to fight.

”You even know my wishes, is this the ability to read my mind... or the future? Your offer sounds good...”

”Then, will you accept my proposal, Caster?”

”Unfortunately, I don’t want to make a deal with a devil.”

Instantly, Medea raised her right hand, a large magic circle appeared below her and a golden miasma gas immediately filled the temple area.

”Big Brother, be careful!”

”I know!”

Kaito was immediately alert to his surroundings and realized this was a trap because he could feel a strong holy magic aura around him, but when he was about to teleport, the gravity around him then became heavy which stopped his movement for a few seconds, and this gave time for the miasma to make contact with him.

”Holy attribute miasma?! Agh!”

....!!

When Kaito breathed in the miasma air, he immediately fell, and immediately groaned in pain all over his body like what his clone felt when the Black Key stabbed him.

Although Medea was not a Priest, her attainment in magic made her able to imitate the abilities of priests and even create a much more powerful version ability to restrain a devil like himself.

...

”Big Brother!”

Ilya, who saw Kaito in pain quickly came close to him. Naturally, as Magus, she is aware of what’s going on, and even this Miasma also affects her a little bit.

”The priest does not lie. Time to finish you off, devil.”

While Kaito is down, Medea who has confirmed his weakness, then chants another spell-- creating a huge holy attribute magic spear floating in the air.

...!!

”Berserker, Protect us!”

Knowing Medea going to target them together, Ilya quickly ordered her servant to protect them with his body. Immediately, Berserker appeared behind her from astral form and roared to Caster.

”Graaawwwr!”

When the holy spear came towards Ilya, Berserker swiftly jumped in front of his master and received Caster’s full attack. Caster’s attack was so powerful that it even made Berserker fall to his knees and make a hole in his stomach.

*BANG*

...!!

However, shortly after, he then stood up again and his wounds healed completely. Thanks to Berserker Noble Phantasm, God’s Hand, it gives Heracles a tough body and automatic resurrection after death for 11 uses... thanks to his history of completing Twelve Labors.

”Oh...?”

”Good job, Berserker! I know you are the best servant!”

...

Caster, one of the smartest heroes in the holy grail war, was initially surprised that Berserker survived her prepared lethal attack, but recognizing his appearance and abilities, Caster immediately knew Berserker’s identity.

”He is... Heracles, right? God Hand... what a disgusting ability.” Caster sharpened her eyes in vigilance,  ”I just need to beat you twelve times, then.”

Hearing Caster’s provocative words, Ilya became angry and continued ordering his servants, ”Berserker, Beat that woman!”

”Not so fast, Master Einzbern!”

...!!!

Unfortunately, when Berserker was about to head towards Caster, Lancer suddenly came to block the way--and thrust his spear toward Berserker’s guts, knocking him back a little bit.

This also made Kaito (who recovered a little and saw the situation) and Ilya surprised since no one expected him to be here at all!

”L-Lancer?!”

”You again?!”

”Yo... Boy, we meet again.”

Lancer pointed his spear toward him in a playful manner, ”Earlier I saw you getting beaten by that priest. Now you are here getting beaten by a caster. You love to court death, don’t you?”

”S-Shut up!”

Seeing Lancer helping Caster, Kaito became very shocked, because he was not supposed in here and he didn’t even detect his presence earlier with Haki.

On the other hand, Ilya became even more annoyed, because before meeting Kaito, she and Berserker had been attacked by Lancer before... and this time, they got attacked again!

”Berserker! Beat that annoying guy, and then beat that woman too!”

”Graaawwwr!”

Seeing Berserker looking at him, Lancer smiled widely, and said, ”Don’t worry, I’ll be happy to play with you!”

After that, Berserker then faced Lancer as per his master’s orders-- brutally mauled Lancer who seems having fun with him. Although Lancer was clearly in a weak position, with the help of Caster, both of them managed to deal with Berserker and slowly reduce his 12 lives at a very fast rate!

*Clank* *Clank* *Clank*

...!!!

Watching the situation while slowly recovering himself (with the help of Imagine Breaker), Kaito can’t help but curse in his mind.

It’s clear that the enemy had anticipated his movements and confirmed that they had truly seen the future. In his opinion, how could Lancer work together with Medea and Medea was very prepared for his arrival?

After all, it is a prepared ambush... And well well-executed one. Without Ilya, Medea and Lancer probably force him to use his trump card props.

However, something also confused him here. If the enemy could predict the future, they should also know all of his abilities and Trump card—then they would know this kind of thing isn’t capable of defeating him at all. Instead, they took a roundabout approach and took advantage of his action.

The enemy may not have a way to defeat him directly, and their purpose may be to weaken him, which he admits is quite effective. But even then, he had many ways to recover thanks to his props, so this setback was nothing.

No matter how hard he thinks, Kaito can’t figure out what is the mastermind goal. But Kaito knows that he needs to do something, as soon as possible instead of staying like this and letting Caster finish them off while he is still down.

Now, Kaito feels good enough to move around and ready to pay back to Caster!

However, when he was about to do that, another thing happened simultaneously. Kaito who earlier decided to take action suddenly stopped moving, his expression quickly became a frown and then changed to anger.

”...”

Ilya, who currently holding Kaito noticed his expression, and expressed her confusion, ”Big brother? Are you still in pain?”

”No, but the situation getting out of hand on the other side.”

???

This makes Ilya confused, but Kaito genuinely feels anger and concern right now. Because from the memory he got, at this time, the clone he sent to assist Saber was destroyed by an Assassin who shouldn’t be in this 5th Holy Grail War at all!
