The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After digesting and thinking about the plan he should take next, Kaito then told everyone about what happened in the Church.

...

”In short, the situation got out of control and the future vision I used became a weapon used by an unknown mastermind who controlled the scene from behind.”

”The unknown mastermind behind the scenes...”

...

Realizing what was happening, Saber immediately frowned, ”Doesn’t that mean Shirou and Rin are in danger right now?”

”No idea. Maybe yes, maybe not.” Kaito shrugged and promised, ”Anyway, I plan to visit their school after this to check on them.”

Hearing his idea, Saber nodded in agreement and said, ”Good idea. Although I know they have a command spell to summon us at any time, it would be better if we were always around them.”

”Indeed. Especially knowing the situation has become unpredictable.”

...

Even though Shirou and Rin are the main characters in this world, Kaito is already aware that in a task that is marked ’very hard’... anything can happen and he doesn’t want to regret being careless.

...

”Big brother, big brother! I’m just confused about one thing.”

Ilya who has been listening quietly for a while and understands some part of what’s happening, raised her hand which make everyone pay attention to them.

”Yes?”

”Big brother You can see the future but now your actions also can be seen by the enemy, right?”

”Umm, yeah.”

”Then...!! Can you see the future again to anticipate the enemy’s movements and find out their identity?”

...!!

Hearing her question, Kaito quickly panicked and making up a reason, ”Uh... Ilya-chan, I’m afraid I can’t do that.”

”Eh... why?”

Ilya tilted her head in confusion, ”Isn’t that strange? After all, you can see the future. If the future changes, then see it again!”

”Ugh.”

”I agree with Einzbern master. Why can’t you do the same with the enemy?” Saber also asked in confusion.

”Well... I will be honest, the enemy seems to have a higher vision of the future than me.

Kaito quickly lied and added, ”Somehow block my ability too. That’s why I can’t see his future.”

For now, Kaito couldn’t answer them because he knew what would happen in the future of the world without his existence... and made them realize that Kaito had been lying to them all this time!

He basically scammed everyone, admitting himself as a prophet and now they are currently dealing with an actual prophet!

Only Est knew that her master was lying, but fortunately, Est trust her master and didn’t expose his fraud.

...

Thankfully, both Ilya and Saber accepted Kaito’s answer, but this only made Saber panic even more, ”If that’s the case, isn’t this really bad? Will the enemy anticipate all of our next moves?”

”Eh? Doesn’t it mean we are going to lose soon or later?” Ilya exclaimed, also beginning to panic.

”...Yes.”

Kaito, who had also realized this before, nodded with a heavy heart and replied, ”That’s the trickiest part that I am still not sure what I can do about it. The enemy knows all of our moves, but we are still in the dark.”

”Then, It’s very bad situation, Kaito.”

”Yes, Saber.” Kaito nodded and muttered, ”Honestly, there is no much we can do to fight this kind of enemy.”

...

This is the reason why Kaito initially did not want to change the future too much, because it could be used as an effective weapon to anticipate the enemy’s movements at critical times, such as stopping Gilgamesh who would kill Ilya in one route, or stopping Matou Zouken who would make Sakura a mini grail in another route.

Now, Kaito knows he is in the worst position, and if the enemy really ”can see the future”-- whatever plan they have, the enemy will be able to destroy it and even take advantage of their action.

However, despite this, Kaito in fact, is not too pessimistic about this situation.

First, not all participants know the future and anticipate their movements, and second, he knows there should be not much the enemy can do because he is the strongest servant in this holy grail war. That confidence comes from his strength and all of his trump cards. Although most of it resides in his ’blocked’ inventory, he still has plenty of props in his Gate of Babylon including 4 custom holy grails which he could use as energy sources, and there are also 2 of 3 of his ultimate trump cards props.

In the face of absolute power, all conspiracies and tricks will have no effect. Kaito is going to all out since playing save would only benefit the enemy.

...

”Then, what we should do, Big Brother? Do you have a new plan?”

”Yeah. I have planned what I can do to minimalize enemy advantage to see the future in this holy grail war.”

”What kind of plan, Kaito?” Saber inquired curiously.

”There’s one thing I am confident with, which is my strength which can defeat anyone in this holy grail war.”

Kaito said with a determined tone, staring at everyone, ”So my plan is speeding up the process of the Holy Grail War and removing all other participants before the other side could use their help to fight us or endanger our master.”

”And with Ilya joining us, ignoring the Kirei and Gilgamesh sides last, we can defeat the Rider and Caster sides as soon as today.” Kaito stated confidently.

...!!!

Hearing Kaito’s plan clearly sounded very arrogant, Saber and Ilya’s expressions quickly darkened. Especially for Saber, because even though they were allies now, in the end, they would be competitors to become the winner of the holy grail war.

..m

”I know you are very strong considering you took Berserker easily.” Saber who looks unhappy then reminded, ”Isn’t that a bit arrogant and reckless for you to say you can defeat everyone in this holy grail war, including me?”

”Saber, I am serious. This may sound pretentious but you have no idea how many abilities or props I have in my arsenal.” Kaito answered confidently.

...

In fact, Kaito wanted to say that he could defeat Saber quickly if he took ”Gungnir” inside the Gate of Babylon. If one doesn’t have enough, he still has a dozen of them.

...

”But Big Brother, what if the enemy knows this too and predicts you to do this too, and has prepared a situation where you can’t win at all?”

”If that’s the case, there’s nothing I can do about that. I just need to face it.” Kaito shrugged and smiled, ”But, trust me Ilya-chan, I’m not easy to beat at all.”

Unless he faces something like Shiki Ryougi, UO, or Beast, Kaito is absolutely confident in his ability to win against anything else.

Well, that’s something he would fight later, but Kaito didn’t know this yet.

...

”Can you change it? I feel like this plan is a bit too reckless and sounds desperate.”

”I understand your concern, Saber. But, please trust me.” Kaito said pleadingly, ”I admit, It’s indeed a desperate plan, but that’s because I think it’s no use to plan anything complicated if our enemy will predict and even take advantage of it.”

”Alright... I admit our enemy is a bit outrageous so I am willing to follow your arrangements.”

Realizing Kaito’s explanation was right, Saber nodded solemnly, finally giving in since she couldn’t think better plan to counter the situation, ”But who will face Rider, and who will face Caster today?”

”I will leave Rider, Shinji, and Sakura’s situation to you Saber, along with one of my clones to help to teleport you there.”

”Rider...”

”You already know Rider’s identity from me, and I believe you can handle the situation very well. Anyway, even in my vision, you will win, and I believe you can handle her.”

Kaito then looked outside the restaurant towards Ryoudou temple seriously while muttering, ”As for Caster, leave it to me. Although she is indeed a very dangerous servant, she is also very weak at close range...”

”I have the teleportation ability to approach her at any time in close range, making me her nemesis.”

...

While Sakura is one of his priorities for side quest, he is more afraid of Caster, Medea who is probably a growing threat at this moment.

As a genius magician from the Age of Gods, Medea certainly figured out his devil identity right away last night and prepared magic that is very effective against devils like him. This makes Medea a target that must be finished as soon as possible because as a caster, she could become very dangerous if given enough time to prepare.

Caster may be one of the weakest servant classes in the holy grail war, but with enough preparation, she becomes one of the strongest classes... especially in his magic workshop area!

...

Agreeing with Kaito’s arrangement, Saber stood up from her seat with a serious expression and glanced at Ilya. ”Alright. But what about Einzbern, master?”

”Ilya will come with me since I might need help to deal with Assassin at Ryoudou temple when I face Caster.” Kaito said and then asked Ilya beside him, ”Are you okay to follow me, Ilya-chan?”

”Umm! I am willing to help as long you will also fulfill your promise!” Ilya took his hand and then stood beside him.

Although Ilya is still unclear about what’s going on, she believes in Kaito and his promise to help her prolong her life, even though they just met a few hours ago.

”Of course.” Kaito gave her a short nod and then looked at the last member who hadn’t stood up yet.

”Alright. Let’s get moving now.” Kaito then gave Est an apologetic look and said, ”Est, I’m sorry today’s outing is postponed for half a day since the situation is very serious right now.”

”It’s okay master. I understand.”

Despite being cut in half, Est was quite satisfied with today’s outing. As his contractor, Est could also feel Kaito’s feelings of trepidation and anxiety and wanted to help her master as much as she could.

...

After paying a huge amount of money at the restaurant where they are eating earlier, Kaito and Saber parted ways as they had planned before. Kaito then makes another clone to go with Saber, who will teleport her to the Homurahara academy for her to protect their master and confront Rider. As for him, He will go to Ryuudo temple to face Caster, the biggest dangerous growing factor alongside Ilya and Berserker. (and Est)

Although the Holy Grail War only officially started yesterday, thanks to Kaito’s decisive action, It has already entered the climax and begun the most difficult and painful fight he has experienced since joining the chat group.
