The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After successfully persuading Rin to help Shirou summon a servant, Shirou of course managed to summon a servant in his yard-- who was none other than Saber, or Artoria Pendragon.

Seeing the beautiful blonde-haired young girl with an elegant aura and wearing shining armor, Shirou, as her master, was stunned.

And just like in the original, Artoria stared at Shirou with a determined look and asked, ”Are you my master?”

”Ah... Yes. My name is Emiya Shirou... Uh, Are you Saber class?”

Although he is stunned by Artoria’s beautiful appearance, Shirou quickly snaps it out and replies. Unlike in the original where he was clueless and almost dying, Shirou received an explanation about how to summon servants and the holy grail war, knew what he had to do right now.

”Yes, master. My name is---”

...!!

Before Saber introduced her identity to Shirou, she then saw Kaito and Rin, which she identified as holy grail war participants, watching them from a distance.

This quickly made her wary, as she held the sword on her waist, ”Master, come here. it seems like the enemy is spying on us behind you.”

”Ah, them?” Shirou who saw Saber’s gaze, shook his head and explained calmly, ”They are not enemies, they are my friends and our alliance in this holy grail war?”

”Alliance?”

”Yes... so my goal in this holy grail war ---”

Emiya Shirou then explained that his goal in participating was to repay Rin’s gratitude debt and protect the Fuyuki people from being affected by this holy grail war.

As a person who Lancer almost killed, Shirou realized how dangerous this holy grail war was. As a person who was inspired to be a ”Partner of Justice” couldn’t stand to be ignorant when something dangerous happened in this city.

This was the same as Shirou’s goal in the original, and Rin who heard Shirou’s aspirations no longer objected to working with him, especially since it was clear that Shirou was not her competitor in this holy grail war.

During the time Shirou was explaining to Saber about his alliance with Rin, Rin herself was staring at Shirou with envy while Kaito patiently engaged with his master beside her.

”This guy... he summoned the Saber class! Damn it, I am envious!”

In Tohsaka Rin’s original plan, she planned to summon the Saber class to win this holy grail war, because, in the history she knew, the Saber class had the highest chance of winning this holy grail war.

”Master... how about you just trade with Shirou’s servant? I’d be happier if you did that.”

If not for the task, Kaito would have forcefully severed their contract already. Also, in one of the routes, Rin getting along with Artoria just fine-- so it’s not a baseless suggestion.

However, Rin immediately denied it and said, ”No way! Even though you’re not Saber, you’re a servant who can make me rich!”

”So I only serve as your source of money, huh...”

Kaito can’t help but smile crookedly, don’t know whether he wants to laugh or cry. This made Rin feel a little bit, so she patted his shoulder and stated, ”Uh, I have more confidence in you too! You are the very strong servant, after all!”

”...Thanks for your compliment I guess, master.”

”Pfft... Do you want me to entertain you? I don’t mind letting you hold my hand or even hug me... to boost your morale. Of course, with the appropriate magic jewel fee~”

”No thank you.”

Hearing Rin’s offer, Kaito immediately rejects it in disgust. After all, Many beautiful girls in the chat group would let Kaito do anything to them, there is no way he would get tempted by Rin’s barren appearance!

”I feel you just mocking me, aren’t you? Are you mocking me?”

”Just you feeling, master.” Kaito refused to admit and then seriously asked, ”Anyway, I haven’t asked this but how much money do you need? I swear with your current money, you can easily become one of the chaebol of this country.”

Kaito had no doubt the money he already made for Rin was enough for her to live without worry until the end of her life. There are at least a few tons of gold and magic gems lying in her mansion’s ’basement’ (which he also dug and expanded).

”As much as I can.”

”Hah?”

Making sure he didn’t hear it wrong from Rin, Kaito asked, ”Are you serious, master? Did I hear ’as much as you want?’ from your mouth.”

”In my defense, Kaito, everyone needs money.” Rin folded her arm arrogantly and stated, ”If I had your ability, I would be the number 1 richest person in the world!”

”Good lord-- Ouch, for the sake of Satan. Master, you are the most greedy person I have ever met!”

”Thank you, Archer!”

”I am not praising you, master!”

...

Even though Kaito didn’t want to risk the optional task, he swore that he probably die of high blood pressure before even completing this task. No wonder this task is very hard, on top of dealing with heroic spirit, he also needs to deal with Tohsaka Rin’s antics!

Kaito feels that he slowly becomes like EMIYA in the original, constantly reminding Rin about her cockiness and her arrogant attitude. At this point, he barely pays attention to the optional task anymore.

After finishing the servant summoning scene, Shirou invited everyone to dinner as an additional thank you to Rin and Kaito for helping and telling him the truth about the holy grail war. On top of that, they also want to hear what kind of future Kaito has seen with his vision and then sort out a plan for how to deal with each participant other than Archer and Saber.

...

”Kaito, this guy is a much better cook than you!”

”Master, can you at least give me some time to enjoy my food?”

Kaito glared at Rin sharply, but Rin just snorted and continued mocking him, ”But it’s indeed the truth! As a legendary servant, how could you lose from Emiya?”

”That’s because I am not a cook, master. Did you get the wrong idea about me?” Kaito complained and then pointed at Saber who currently ’ravages’ her dinner, ”Look at Saber, do you think she can cook either?”

”...”

Rin looked at Saber who didn’t care about what others said (busy consuming dinner), sighed, and then replied, ”My bad. I guess you’re right. But I hope you can improve your cooking skills, Kaito!”

”No way! I am a leader, not a chef!”

”Pfft.”

Hearing Kaito’s immediate retort, Est, who is currently munching on her food on his lap, can’t help but giggle, spilling all the food she is currently eating which dirtied him and the table around him.

...!!

Seeing the mess Est made, Kaito quickly cleaned it up and offered her a drink, ”Ah, Est. Don’t talk while eating.”

”I am sorry, master.” Est said in an apologetic tone, to which Kaito answered, ”It’s okay, It’s Tohsaka Rin’s fault anyway.”

”Oii?!!”

Ignoring Rin’s complaint, Kaito continues taking care of Est as he still feels bad for her. He thought she probably ate as much as she could because Kaito abandoned her in the Gate of Babylon for a week (which is true).

”Did you enjoy your food?”

”Umm. It’s delicious, thank you, master.”

”You should thank the chef but you’re welcome.”

”~Un~”

Kaito continue patted Est’s head, which made her make a cute noise-- and created a warm atmosphere where even the rude Rin stopped her from complaining.

As expected, for Kaito only Est the one he could trust the most.... even her presence was enough to make his heart calm for the past few days of suffering.

”Speaking of which, I can’t believe she is a living sword.”

Rin, who saw something like Est for the first time, commented with curiosity and skepticism, ”But why she is a little girl? Does it have a setting where the sword takes form based on her user’s favorite body shape?”

...!!

”Slander! Est is born like this, Rin! Are you discriminating against Loli?”

”Uh, I never said that though. But do you like her?”

”Of course, I do like Est.” Kaito answered proudly.

”Lolicon.”

”Not in sexual manners, okay?!”

”I don’t believe it, after all, she is sitting on your lap!”

”Whatever. I bet you are just envious that Est only wants to sit with me!”

”Of course not, I am not a lolicon like you, Hmmph!”

Although Kaito likes Est, he’s like everyone else in the chat group who also likes doting on her-- not in a sexual manner at all! After all, in Kaito’s opinion, loli is only to protect and to pat, not to lewd!

...

”Nah... Nah, calm down everyone. Here are the last dishes for tonight.”

A few moments later, Shirou, who was busy in the kitchen, brought the last dish to the table, which quickly temporarily dissolved the hostility between Rin and Kaito. Saber and Est immediately take the new dishes to their plate, while Rin and Kaito just watch them since they already had enough.

”I am sorry to make you cook for us, I feel bad, you know?” Kaito said apologetically.

Shirou, who just sat down beside Saber, shook his head and answered, ”I don’t mind, it’s the least thing I can do for you two.”

”Besides the ingredients you have created are really good quality, Kaito-san.” Shirou said seriously.

”Ah... Thank you.”

Although he mainly created magical creations back in Naruto, Kaito knows how to conjure normal ingredients. For example, Kaito was tasked by Aika to create a lot of fast-growing vegetable seeds back then, which is naturally impossible if he can’t create the actual vegetables themselves beforehand.

”I didn’t know you were very good at conjuring ingredients.”

Kaito who hears Rincomment, can’t help but retort, ”Master, you didn’t realize that all your breakfast, lunch, and dinner are made by the ingredients coming from my creation.”

”Really? Why you didn’t get them from the market? Isn’t that quite wasteful?”

”I would like to do that, but you never give me any money to buy them in the first place!”

Hearing what Kaito said, almost everyone laughed except for Rin, who felt embarrassed and then said, ”Uh... From the next day, I will make sure to give you some money to enjoy yourself!”

”What’s the use? The money is coming from my creation anyway! It’s better to create the ingredients myself since I am sure it’s 100% high quality.”

”Then, you should not complain about money! Keep up the good work, Kaito!”

”...”

*Sigh*

Holding back the urge to reprimand his master for her irresponsible words, Kaito quickly focused on Est to calm himself down, hugging her tightly. This surprised Est for a moment, but she quickly returned to focusing on eating since Kaito cuddling her every night was a regular activity between them.

Once again, Kaito never does anything strange to Est. He only uses Est solely purpose to calm down himself and make himself comfortable.

”As expected, you are lolicon, Kaito,” Rin said with a teasing tone.

”Shut up, master.”

Kaito continues playing with Est while ignoring Rin’s teasing until Saber seems to be done with her meal and then continues staring at Est. This quickly makes the atmosphere weird, and everyone notices it, including Kaito himself.

”Hmm, Saber? Do you have something to ask?” Kaito takes the initiative to ask.

”Yes. Archer-- I mean, Kaito.” Saber nodded solemnly and said, ”I have been dying to ask something.”

”Sure? What do you want to ask?”

”Est... She is giving me a similar feeling to my Excalibur... No, even stronger than it... What kind of sword she is?”

As the wielder of one of the strongest holy swords in the world, Saber felt that Est was very similar existence to Excalibur. Although there were differences in the aura as well (Est is not a real holy sword, since she has a steel attribute), Saber was certain that Est had a history in matters concerning the world’s salvation and possessed powers that she could not imagine.

Kaito wasn’t surprised by Saber’s question at all, so he nodded and proudly answered. ”She is indeed similar to Excalibur, although with different attributes. After all, Est is a Demon King Slaying Sword and was used by an actual hero to slay a demon king.”

”There are actual demon kings in another world?” Saber inquired with curiosity but she also believed what he said.

Although there’s no such thing as a demon king in this world, she also faced the white dragon, Vortigern back in the day.

”Of course.” Kaito nodded, confirming her question in a good-- but immediately ruined by Rin who knew his true identity.

”What makes it funny though, is this guy is a devil.” Rin scoffed from the side and then mocked,  ”A devil, wielding demon king slaying sword. This guy must be a traitor of devil kin.”

”...Ugh.”

Hearing Rin’s comment, Shirou and Saber were surprised and looked at Kaito-- and Kaito could only nod with an awkward smile.

Kaito wanted to explain the difference between a demon and a devil, but he also knew that both were indeed similar terms and could be used interchangeably with each other.

In addition, Kaito himself also found this funny, and he admitted that Rin’s words were indeed true.

They then continued to chat with each other until it was time for everyone to finish eating (mainly waiting for Est and Shirou who had late dinner) and the reason for gathering in the first place.

After that, as Kaito promised to them, Kaito then explained what knowledge he knew about the holy grail war this time through ”Future Vision” and his plan to save both Sakura and Ilya (for the second optional objective) to everyone.

To say everyone was shocked is an understatement, especially for Rin who at that night learned her biological sister’s fate and his father’s real killer identity.
