The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

The next day, Kaito was ready to do his task, surrounded by almost all the members of the chat group who also heard the news about it from Aika. Of course, the other members who saw the task given by the system also told Kaito (forced) to complete the optional mission as well.

”You guys... your expectations feel heavy to me oi...”

Although Kaito had made a lot of preparations, honestly Kaito was still afraid about the task he was going to face. The chat group system would not possibly give a ”very hard” rating for no reason unless the task he was going to face was really difficult, even for Kaito who had almost reached 6* evaluation strength.

...

”It can’t be helped, Kaito-kun. Your task reward is too important to be ignored by us.” (Miya)

”Good luck, Owner. Also please complete all the tasks if possible.” (Itachi)

”No cost and upgrading the transfer method will make many of my plans easier in the future. Don’t mess this up, Owner.” (Crocodile)

”Without cost, I can invite my friends to explore another world!” (Misaka)

”I also want to travel to another world for free and singing on there!” (Yuu)

”Indeed. The points I use for the transfer can be used to buy groceries that I can eat every day.” (Saitama)

”...Saitama-sensei, if you need food, you can always ask me.” (Erina)

”Ah, I forgot about that.” (Saitama)

...

”Anyway, Kaito. You heard them all. You are currently carrying all the expectations of all chat group members.” Aika who seems enjoying Kaito suffering then added, ”Pfft... Please be responsible for our expectations.”

”That’s easy for you to say...” Kaito who felt burdened by their expectation, argued, ”The task marked very hard difficulty you know? Even it would take all of us working together to finish SAO back then.”

”We know. But aren’t you already one of the strongest among us?”

”Strength doesn’t always guarantee win.” Kaito rolled his eyes, ”If anything, being smart and cautious often saves my life.”

Although Aika’s words were true, Kaito knew very well that the most important thing in carrying out a dangerous mission was not strength, but luck. If not for his luck, he wouldn’t have experienced a lot of bad situations. Heck, he died before he was able to activate his golden finger. If not for Ravel wanted to revive him, there is no way Kaito would be standing here today.

...

”Then, you just do your usual and complete the task.” Aika snorted and then complimented, ”Among everyone, you are the person who can make the best decisions in facing any critical situation.”

”...I have no choice don’t I?” Kaito sighed and then said, ”Remember what you said yesterday.”

”Don’t worry, like I said yesterday, we promise that as long as you carry out your task, we will stay in this world to develop our plans in this world.”

Aika then turned around and asked everyone, ”Is that right, everyone?”

...

”I am okay staying in this world until you are back, Kaito. Everyone has been good to me.” (Ravel)

”Well, it’s not like I have a thing to do anyway. I will also stay to protect everyone.” (Saitama)

”I am also quite interested in historical ruin in this world.” (Robin)

”I will protect the village.” (Yuu)

”I still haven’t collected all the interesting abilities in this world. I might use this chance to take full control of the underworld in this world.” (Crocodile)

”I still have a lot of concert plans... some of them with Killer Bee.. ugh.” (Uta)

”Don’t worry, Uta-san. I will make sure to prepare delicious food to make you feel better.” (Erina)

”Prepare for me too! I wanted to try my luck to fight against Raikage later!” (Misaka)

”Misaka-san, please don’t make trouble for everyone.” (Sakuya)

”Misaka-san, I will punish you if you keep making trouble.” (Aika)

”Ugh, Don’t worry, Aika-san. I promise it’s not a death fight, and I promise to heal him after we’re done with my points!” (Misaka)

”Your words don’t make my worries disappear at all.” (Aika)

...

Hearing all the chatter of the members, Kaito honestly became more worried about what the chat group going to do in this world since they were kind of unstoppable here. However, he quickly forgot about it, because he also believed in Aika’s ability to control the situation within the chat group.

Besides, if there was an emergency, Kaguya and Obito could be a means of teleportation-- replacing his position as a taxi for the chat group members.

After making sure all the items are safe in the inventory and Gate of Babylon, Kaito then confirms with the system to start his task. A familiar white light immediately enveloped Kaito, a sign that he would soon be going to another world.

...!!

”Goodbye, everyone.”

”Stay safe, master.” (Sakuya)

”Good luck, Kaito!” (Ravel)

”Make sure to broadcast when you arrive! We want to know where you go!” (Aika)

”That’s a good idea. Don’t forget to do that, Owner.” (Crocodile)

”Ugh... Okay!”

Saying his promise, a second later the white light became very bright and very strong, blinding everyone and even making all the villagers wonder what happened in the kage office since it enveloped the entire village.

...!!

*BLINK*

A moment later, the light slowly faded, and Kaito disappeared inside the office, indicating that he had gone on a mission.

Strangely, when everyone wanted to check Kaito’s status in the chat group, Kaito’s status was [Offline], and could not be contacted at all. Even chat groups refuse to explain and only give short answers, saying [Owner is forbidden to use chat group until the task is finished].

Needless to say, everyone now understands why it was marked ’very hard’. Kaito’s situation may be very difficult because he can only rely on himself to finish the task without the chat group, and the members can only pray he can return to them safely.

...

”God, I pray to you. please, let me win this holy grail war.”

...

Inside a quiet mansion, A young woman with aqua eyes and long wavy black hair with twin tails tied with black ribbons, wearing a red turtleneck, and a black skirt is trying to summon a servant to participate in the holy grail war. Preparing the magic circle and the relic in the middle, Tohsaka Rin then prepares to say the incantation so that she can complete the summoning ritual.

As a descendant of the Tohsaka family, one of the 3 great families that founded the holy grail war ritual, Tohsaka Rin has the right to be one of the masters.

Rin is also very determined to win this holy grail war, because, besides for the sake of her deceased father and her family’s name, Rin also risks a lot in this ritual, especially in material.

The thing is, Although Tohsaka Rin is the head of the family and officially has the status of the second owner of Fuyuki, her life is quite worrying and poor.

Even though she lives in the mansion, she lives alone because her parents have all died and she also can’t afford a maid to hire.

Her act guardian, the teacher of his deceased father, who is a priest also manages her family’s assets... and only gives her enough wealth to live on.

The priest refused to give Rin more, believing she should live in humility and poverty.

Unfortunately, the Tohsaka family’s magic is Jewel magic, and its use is costly. Those made of crystals that are naturally able to easily store mana are made of precious metals and come at a very high price, easily reaching a price of 500,000 yen each.

With the consumption of jewel magic and her small income, Rin is naturally poor, despite her family’s high status.

Rin even needs to resort to working part-time in a nearby shrine recently, to earn some money for weeks to prepare more funds to summon servants in the holy grail war.

With all that reason, Rin determined to win this holy grail war and then begin her incantation.

Let silver and steel be the essence.

Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.

Let red be the color I pay tribute to.

Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.

Let the four cardinal gates close.

Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate.”

”Let it be filled. Again. Again. Again. Again.

Let it be filled fivefold for every turn, simply breaking asunder with every filling!

...

The moment Rin finished the ritual, our hero, Kaito immediately arrived in the middle of the magic circle accompanied by the usual bright light.

=====

[The Personal Task has been updated! Please check the task details to learn the objective of the task!]

=====

He also received notification that his task had been updated, but before he was able to check-- Kaito was suddenly flooded with memories of this world.

...!!!

(A/N: It was explained that every servant who gets summoned immediately gets knowledge about holy grail war and modern knowledge).

Kaito who has a lot of explanatory memory quickly recognized his task and why it was marked as very hard.

’Moon World... Nasuverse... which is, Holy grail war huh?’

While getting all the memories related to his current status, he quickly recognized the world he is currently in.

Apparently, unlike normal transfer, Kaito realized that he seemed to be transferred as a servant with a real body.

It’s easy to deduce his main task this time is probably to win the holy grail war.

If Kaito manages to win this war, he could learn the third method and officially become a magician. Naturally, the magician of the moon world is connected to the root, the unlimited source of magic... which solves his biggest problem at the moment!

Kaito is not surprised that the system can make him into a servant, even though he traveled with his body. This is the same system that can hijack SAO world for task change, and easily resurrect a person who had died a long time ago.

The only question is which holy grail war he is going to participate in--- but the moment he opened his eyes, Kaito already got the answer to his question.

Because, in front of him, is the the famous tsundere heroine from Moon World, Tohsaka Rin in her teenage form who looks at him with doubt and skepticism.

...

”You... are you my servant?”

Hearing her question, Kaito slowly nodded, ”Yes.”

According to his memory, Tohsaka Rin should summon Red A instead of him in this war, and Kaito quickly concludes that he seems to have been replacing his position as Rin’s servant.

Kaito wasn’t sure whether it was a stroke of good or bad luck for him... since unlike Shirou the protagonist, Rin was at least a genuine magus and could supply him with decent magic whenever he needs.

Not that he needs it since he can always use rent magic power from Yuu... but that’s beside the point.

He also seems to possess independent act skills granted by the holy grail, which all archer classes have in the holy grail war.

...

”What kind of hero are you?”

No matter how Tohsaka Rin sees it, Kaito doesn’t look like a hero, or even strong.

Instead, he just looks like a normal spiky-haired blonde boy around her age, wearing a plain white t-shirt that looks high quality, black jeans, and... Adidas shoes.

Yeah, Rin didn’t believe Kaito was a hero at all. Rin is convinced there must be something wrong with her ritual, but the problem is she also can feel the connection between herself and the boy in front of him.

”...Are you even a hero?” Rin folds her arm while furrowing her eyebrows, wondering what she should do next.

”Uh... I am not sure how to answer that...”

Although he seemed to save the world once, it wasn’t a real-world (SAO) so Kaito didn’t think it was qualified. Virtual world savior? That doesn’t make sense no matter what he thought.

...

”Also, my class is archer, by the way. I hope we can get along, master!”

”...”

Hearing Kaito’s optimistic answer, instead of cheering up, Rin’s eyes quickly become lifeless.

Tohsaka Rin, who risked everything in the Holy Grail War event, felt depressed because in her mind there was no way she could win with an archer who didn’t seem strong at all.

”...It’s over... My dream... Even after all the part-time work I have done and praying on shrine...”

”Umm... Should I say, sorry master?”

Seeing his master’s reaction, Kaito, whose life was full of bad luck, honestly felt sympathy and understood why she reacted that way. After all, from the outside Kaito didn’t look like a hero at all (he is not), or a strong person who could compete in this holy grail war.
